Inked_Nerd: Awww, sorry to hear that Ms. Potato. I haven't worked at Victoria's Secret since 2008, so I'm not sure if I could actually help you with this. Perhaps you and some other fans of Mango Temptation body lotion could start an online petition to have it brought back on the shelves. If your lucky, it could actually work and perhaps they will bring it back. Another thing you could do is e-mail the Limited Brands corporation through their website--They're the parent company to Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works, Pink, Henri Bendel and La Senza.InkedNerd I am big fan of Colin Stuart shoe line through VS, but I've always wondered, is he a real person, or just some fictitious character VS has created to give off the illusion that they have a contract with one designer having his own line exclusively through the company? |
i've been wondering the same thing. i miss her too. |
yommyismine: Am finding it difficult to trust men....pls advise meu shouldn't trust men, u shud trust ur instincts |
i'm game to receive lessons and take notes! at least i can blame my youth for my lack of knowledge in the dating department. What excuses do the rest of you have? No, don't answer that because it doesn't matter. Just Teach Us. |
OK/2/NV:all white men secretly yearn for midnight velvet. it's black women who every man wants. why do you think there are so many pov pornos out there, with white men giving it to a fine soul sistah? nothing compares to a black woman. black women are the goddesses of this earth. we are the original mothers. |
lol it has only been a couple of weeks since i met my new Zimbabwean friend. i have been on nairaland for about 5 mos. |
yamakuza: ^ Hmmn, thanks for the exposé. Guess u've traced your roots to Badagry and not Zim, huh?what do you mean. explain this to me please. |
yamakuza: lol, ok then, issorait!not too long ago, I had a conversation with a very nice man from Zimbabwe. I was curious about him, and wanted to talk to him, so I started up a conversation. We talked about a lot of things, and of his home, and he showed me pictures of his family, etc. He wanted to know whether all AA's thought that Africans swung from banana trees. I laughed because I was ashamed to admit that far too many thought that. I asked him was it true that Africans hated AA's and thought we were all welfare queens and thugs. It occurred to e that we were both absolutely clueless about the other. Our only common bond was the color of our skin. But this is not our fault. Divide and Conquer is the ploy that white people have been using to separate the black race, sowing seeds of contention and confusion, dividing and conquering all of us. If knew just how great we were, BLACKS would once again rule this beautiful earth, as is really the natural order. But all blacks must unite for this to happen. No matter the language or cultural barriers put into place. I love my AA roots, and acknowledge that to be an African and an African American is not the same thing. But I feel there is much to be learned from one another, and we all stand to benefit by using this forum as a cultural exchange. Whenever NL'ers have questions about AA's I am more than happy to oblige, and answer them to the best of my ability. The white man's lies have kept up apart for far too long. |
lol no sir. i've made it quite clear on several occasions that im AA |
what does "ooo" mean? what is "yansh" what is "walhala" |
Fulaman198: You mean Khoisanoh ok, but Khoikhoi is another name that they are called also. |
MsDarkSkin: there is one tribe in southern africa...the tribe that Saarah Bartman came from (forgot the name)but they are dark-medium brown not light skinned. As far as really light, no. I dont think so. Arabs and africans have mixed for centuries even before europeans came into the mix.yes. they are called Khoikhoi. I think that's what Nelson Mandela is. They look exotic to me...their eyes almost look oriental...only they slant downward, instead of upward like the eyes of an Asian. |
