Rawani: Exactly, the momentum gathered by this revelation is giving them sleepless nights. They had hoped the news will die down as usual but Nigerians have surprisingly decided to not be gullible to believe any statements by the govt including the DSS as everyone is tired of the violence.

Is it the BH they said cannot tell Davies their sponsors that Vanguard wants us to wait for to tell us that Davies's named sponsors are incorrect?

egift: My guy Crocodile, stop calling my name this issue have been dealt with. Mr. Devis made his allegations, people like you are threatening hell instead of supporting the government to investigate it. Now your imaginations are cooking up many false articles to spin it to how Mr. Davis may not have even said a word. Stop suppressing Mr Steve. Stop shocking him with what he did not say - let Jonathan investigate, arrest and prosecute anyone found guilty. That is what every sane Nigerian should be asking.

Read your last comment and see how pathetic it is for you to exonerate one man and condemn another without and shred of evidence because it is convenient with you diabolic interests.

Politics › We Reject Niger East Bye-election - APC by tit(op): 4:42am On Sep 08, 2014
All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State on Sunday rejected the result of Niger East Senatorial bye-election which gave victory to Dr. Shem Nuhu Zagbayi of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The spokes man of the Party, Mr. Jonathan Vatsa in a swift reaction in Minna said that the result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the early hours of Sunday was "unacceptable" to the party.

Vatsa also said.“the party is currently studying the result and will make its position known, but for now the result is unacceptable.

"we are yet to take a decision on the outcome of the bye-election, all I know for is that the result announced by INEC is not acceptable and in due course the official position of the party will be announced.

"According to him,the next line of action on the bye-election will be taken after consultations at the state level. We are also in touch with the National Headquarters of the party and our position will be made known".

The APC publicity secretary wondered on the moral right of the state governor, Babangida Aliyu to have said that the victory for PDP was a reflection of the confidence the people have in the party when he knew that the conduct of the election contravened the Electoral Act.

"It is a known fact that the outcome of the by-election was a total rigging between PDP and INEC. It took a party that has been in power for over 15 years to use money to induce, use fake security agents to intimidate and INEC to doctor the results to "win" bye-election.

"It is sad that our governor who preside over failed 10 kilometre road project in each of the 25 local government areas of the state and many other failed or over inflated but not executed projects could say that the party (PDP) enjoys acceptability.

"The governor has no moral justification to speak because he lost the last bye-election in his unit, ward and local government. In fact Governor has never won any election in his local government, ward and unit".
Politics › Re: Since When Did Boko Haram 'attacks' Become Equivalent To A 'take Over' ? by tit(f): 12:40am On Sep 08, 2014
maclatunji: The United States has warned that the reputation of Nigeria’s
military is at stake while the future of the country and its citizens
is in jeopardy following the capture of some towns in the north-
eastern part of the country in the last few weeks by Boko Haram
terrorists.

The US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs,
Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who expressed deep
concern on the activities of the Islamic sect in Nigeria while
participating in the International Conference on Security in Abuja
on Thursday, declared that failure was not an option.

According to Nigeria’s Vanguard newspaper on Friday, the
militants on Monday reportedly took Bama, 70km from the Borno
State capital, Maiduguri, where 10,000 youths, former soldiers
and police gathered on Thursday, vowing to push back the
advance. Multiple testimonies from residents, who have been
fleeing Bama all week, contradicted military claims that soldiers
still held the town.

Inasmuch as we want to be positive and optimistic, we must not become outright liars when even outsiders know the truth about us. Over and above this is the fact that thousands are being killed by Boko Haram and with virtually every new "assurance" of victory by the Federal Government comes a new attack. In addition, "tactical manouevers" that end-up with our soldiers being herded like sheep in Cameroon are not propaganda by Boko Haram.

Hence, we have to accept that there is a high degree of incompetence with our leadership and it has to stop by yesterday not even today if we want to genuinely defeat Boko Haram and not just dubiously support a failing leadership.

At the rate you are going, you might want us to believe Nigeria defeated Congo 3-2 on Saturday lest we be tagged "unpatriotic".

We could also use diplomatic channels to check on Sudanese aircraft making stops in Niger, Chad and Cameroun.

Sudanese War Plane Loaded With Ammunition For Tripoli, Says Libya

Libya said a Sudanese military transport plane bound for a Tripoli airport under control of an armed faction had entered its airspace to supply a "terrorist group" with ammunition, a government statement said on Saturday.

Sudan confirmed it had sent a military plane but said it had only carried equipment for a joint Libyan-Sudanese state border force.

Libya is in turmoil three years after the ousting of Muammar Gaddafi as armed groups, partly linked to Islamists, have seized the capital Tripoli and set up an alternative parliament and government.

"This work from the Sudanese state violates (the sovereignty) of the State of Libya and interferes with its affairs," the Libyan statement said, adding that Libya had asked the Sudanese military attache to leave the country.

"Sudan is interfering by supporting a terrorist group," it added.

BTW: How is he financing his campaign for Governor? From his savings or retirement funds as COAS? Some would suggest that he is a thief on top of being a suspected war criminal.

which one did Ihejirika do?
1) kill boko haram in war crimes
2) sponsor boko haram to kill moslims.

fairheven: It seems u r bent on arguing over somtin u cannot defend,so wt is the meaning of "azi" in Ibo?
An how many ibo people have u seen bearing that name?an I can bet u that Jonathan bears the name as an appendage..an not from birth, just uses it for political gains.the name "AZIKIWE"is hausa in origin, before u argue, plz do a research.
Azikiwe must be a Hausa man. He was even born in Zungeru, Niger. He is either Hausa or Fulani, you know those people cross the border with ease following their cattle.

I do not know why people started called President Jonathan the name "Azikiwe". It is not for oratory which the original Zik was known for. Maybe he has some other Zikist quality.
