https://africanspotlight.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/CTH00s-UcAEvtCw.jpg My biggest issue with these Biafrans is their use of violence and far from peaceful protests to make their point. Again, they took to the streets Friday to protest the arrest and detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra and a self-proclaimed leader of the IPOB (the Indigenous People of Biafra). Residents of Onitsha, Enugu, Imo, Aba, Delta reportedly took to the streets to register their displeasure in what they tagged “Biafra Million Man March.” Photos below: https://africanspotlight.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/12193770_716525681813712_5560100810787594155_n.jpg https://africanspotlight.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/12109234_648127851956678_4307615464274534022_n.jpg https://africanspotlight.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/CTIUbzvWUAAkkzs.jpg https://africanspotlight.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/CTIHSV3WwAAlBSy.jpg https://africanspotlight.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/CTIRkC8WsAEGRTv.jpg http://www.pijangonews.com/2015/11/photos-of-biafrans-in-biafra-million.html |

The biggest supermarket in Lekki, Lagos, Ebeano, was gutted by fire yesterday and though no one died, three people were injured while trying to save some valuables by removing them from the burning building. One of them is this staff of Ebeano who is in hospital being treated for his injuries. See more exclusive photos after the cut... The structure is still standing but the supermarket was razed to the ground. Workers are momentarily working hard to see what can still be salvaged from the inferno. The fire started from the Electronics section of the supermarket and spread like wild fire in no time affecting other sections. The bookstore acted as a fuel to the fire. Prince Ebeano himself was around when the fire started and he spear headed the frantic effort to put out the fire. Policemen are on ground to ensure hoodlums don't take advantage of the situation to unleash terror. http://www.nigerianewsheadlines.com/?p=12917 |

While talking, the old woman complained that she had been trying to reach him on the mobile number he gave out to the state residents but had not been successful. She said she called to invite him to her mother's funeral this Friday. Fayose asked for an invite which she said she had finished sharing them. He then promised to grant her wish and attend her mother's burial. More photos after the cut... Her daughter, Reverend (Mrs) Tola Oyediran, revealed this, saying “Mama in her unique way had kept a white damask to be laid in her casket whenever she died since the day she stopped her fabric sales business. And if I am not mistaken, I think she stopped selling fabrics around 1979; meaning that since then, she had kept that damask for that purpose. That is her wish and it will be like that.”she said Oyediran also revealed that Mama will be buried in a gold casket which will be brought in from the United States of America. She will be buried beside her husband inside the Awolowo mausoleum in the family compound in Okenne, Ogun state. http://www.nigerianewsheadlines.com/?p=12716 |
