According to the Bible, in the last
days the spirit of antichrist (1Jn
2:18) a satanic-empowered
opposition to God and all he has
accomplished through christ will
be represented in bodily form as
an influential, international
leader. This person will engineer
satan's final attempt to
overthrow Christ. Unlike the
rapture, the coming of the
antichrist will not be without
warning. Several signs will point
to his appearance and rise to
power. At least three events must
occur before he appears on
earth.
1. The secret power of
lawlessness will increase until it
reaches its climax (2Th 2:7).
That point will be characterized
by the complete ridicule,
rejection and rebellion against
any standards and commands
established in the Bible. Because
of a ruling spirit of rebellion and
lawlessness, most people will
lose any sense of true love and

2. The rebellion, which literally
means "departure", "falling
away" or "abandonment", will
occur. In the last days, many
people who once followed christ
will abandon biblical truth and
reject true faith in christ. This
rebellion will have two
dimensions.
(¡) Theological apostasy. False
leaders and teachers will offer
"salvation" and cheap grace
without true devotion to christ.
They will claim that people can be
spiritually saved even though
they reject christ's demand for
repentance (2pe 2:1-3, 12-19).
(¡¡) Moral apostasy.
People who have abandoned
true faith in christ may still claim
to believe the right things and to
accept the Bible's teaching, yet
they reject God's moral law and
standards. By doing so, they
corrupt the truth and embrace
deception (Mt 23:25-28).
3. The one who now holds it
back must be taken out of the
way.
The one who holds it back may
best be understood as God, as he
is revealed through the holy
spirit. He alone has the power to
hold back , the man of
lawlessness and satan (2Th 2:9).
All of God's restraints against sin
will be removed and the
satanically inspired rebellion will
begin. As God removes his
restraining influence, the man of
lawless nesswill be revealed (2Th
2:3-4). Be ready for the Rapture. |

Disillusionment is what has propeled you to find comfort in what you do. You are traped, if you don't know and you need deliverance. Yes there has been a battle going on here. The best answer to this is “perhaps.” Having your spouse’s permission would turn 1 Corinthians 7:4 into a non-issue. But, with this situation, a very important question is being overlooked. What is the alternative? What would happen if a person in this situation did not masturbate? To say that he/she would be incapable of resisting temptation is to neglect the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit ( 1 John 4:4) . The Bible instructs us to flee sexual temptation ( 1 Corinthians 6:18, 10:13; 2 Timothy 2:22). The Bible does not tell us to find ways to make the temptation less powerful. So, while it might not be a sin for a person in the above situation to masturbate, the Bible tells us to make decisions with more certainty than “might,” “maybe,” or “perhaps.” Romans 14:23 says, “Everything that does not come from faith is sin.” Romans 14:5 indicates that we are to be “fully convinced” before we do, or do not do, something. The fact that “is it still a sin?” is even being asked is proof of a lack of assurance and evidence of not being fully convinced. Asking a question like “Is ______ not a sin IF…?” is dangerous at its core. While “if something is a sin, it is always a sin” is not universally true, it is much more biblical than trying to find situations in which a sin is no longer sinful. |

There are some biblical principles that can be applied to the issue of masturbation. (2 Pet 3:5-7). From this we can deduce that; long ago in very distant time past, the Lord God first created the heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1). But when the heaven and Earth are spoken of in Genesis 1:2, it is in a ruined and lifeless state. There is a vast gap in historical time between those two verses of the Bible; a gap on the order of possibly a billion years, nobody knows. In Genesis 1:1 we have a glorious heaven and Earth, but in 1:2 we see a decimated heaven and Earth. 2 Likes |

Jozzy4:Yes the bible clearly stated in Ezekiel 18:4: the soul that sinneth, shall die. The writter here may be refering to the Body, because the term body and soul are sometimes used interchangeably. However, All things must be maintained and sustained by where they came from. The minute a plant decides it doesn't like the earth anymore, it dies. The minute the fish decide they are tired of water, they die. The minute animals decide, they don't want to eat grass any more, they begin to die. If Humans separate themselves from God, they will eventually die. |

Please study the Bible to determine if you believe the same The Bible doesn't specifically tell us whether Adam and Eve are in heaven or hell, but we can infer that they would be in Heaven. This is why: 1. God did not abandon them. God continued to talk them and provided for them after their sin. He made clothes of animal skin, probably from lamb skins, to cover their unclothedness and replace the fig-leaf loin cloths the had made. This required an animal sacrifice to cover their sin, which prefigured the Lamb of God's christ's sacrifice for the sins of the world several thousand years later. This illustrated the biblical principle of substitutionary atonement, or covering, by the shedding of blood as condition of forgiveness for the sinner. 2. Adam and Eve must have taught their chidren about the importance of offering sacrifices to God, because we find Cain and Abel givin offerings to God in Genesis 4. 3. We don't go to Hell for our sins. Take note of this. God doesn't send people to Hell because of a sin, otherwise we would all go to Hell and there would be no point in having a Heaven. People go to Hell because they do not recieve God's gift of salvation. When Adam and Eve sinned When Adam and Eve, they tried to hide themselves from God. That they felt shame for disobeying God's command not to eat from the tree of knowledge shows that there was hope for their salvation. 4. Adam is used as a positive example example In Luke's Gospel, Adam is set as the head of Christ's genealogy (Luke 3:38), and is called the “son of God”, a term Luke has already given to Jesus (Luke 1:35). It is inconceivable that Luke would call Adam a son of God if his destiny was to be tormented endlessly in Hell. 5. The Apostle Paul uses Adam and Eve in his teaching about the sexes and the truth of the Genesis account. Christ is called the Last Adam. There is a strong comparison between Adam and Christ in the Bible. In fact, Christ is even called the "last Adam" in 1 Corinthians 15:45. And even though this is a contrast, Adam brought sin and death whereas Christ brought righteousness and everlasting life. It seems inconceivable that Paul would give Christ the name of Adam if Adam's home was Hell. |

The soul is who you are, it is a part of your SPIRITUAL component. This is your individuality, your "I AM" so to speak (made in God's image), your "heart." Although your individual soul did not exist before your mother and father procreated you, it will exist forever . It cannot be killed by man: "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matt. 10:28 KJV) When your body dies your soul (YOU) will leave the flesh: "And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin." Weah96:To have "free will" simly means that God gives humans the opportunity to make choices that genuinely affect their destiny. Yes God knew that man would sin, He knew that a day like this would come, and you'll insult Him. He knows everything. He created us anyway, in His own image, to bring glory to Himself. If we were created as robots, it would not bring glory to Him. We were given freedom to make choices. Even though we chose to disobey, our choice became the means by which God’s ultimate will was carried out and by which His full glory will be seen. Note this: Man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. |

The true essence of God’s protection is the eternal indwelling of the Holy Spirit ( Ephesians 2:21-22). The believer is sealed for the day of final glorification ( Ephesians 1:13-14). We are protected in all things. We have the ability, though, by allowing our sin nature to rule us, to depart from the will of God. A shield can only protect if it is picked up and used. We cannot sit back and say, “God will protect me!” if we have not done the things we ought to be doing. It is only through prayer and the study of God’s Word that we are assured of God’s protection in our lives. To call God punny shows how far you've gone in your rebellion. May God have mercy on you. |

People become atheist because they chose to be. Terrorist attacks and every other thing that has plagued man since the beginning of time is as a result of sin. Sin’s effects permeate everything, and the suffering we see all around us is a direct result of that sin. But God did not leave us here to suffer pointlessly. Our loving and merciful God has a perfect plan to use that suffering to accomplish His threefold purpose. First, He uses pain and suffering to draw us to Himself so that we will cling to Him. Jesus said, “In the world you shall have tribulation” ( John 16:33). Trials and distress are not something unusual in life; they are part of what it means to be human in a fallen world. In Christ we have an anchor that holds fast in all the storms of life, but if we never sail into those storms, how would we know that? It is in times of despair and sorrow that we reach out to Him, and, if we are His children, we always find Him there waiting to comfort and uphold us through it all. In this way, He proves His faithfulness to us and ensures that we will stay close to Him. An added benefit is that as we experience God’s comfort through trials, we are then able to comfort others in the same way ( 2 Corinthians 1:4). Second, He proves to us that our faith is real through the suffering and pain that are inevitable in this life. How we respond to suffering is determined by the genuineness of our faith. Those with faith truly from God, “the author and finisher of our faith” ( Hebrews 12:2), will not be crushed by suffering, but will come through the trial with their faith intact, having been “proven through fire” so that it “might be found to praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:7). Those are the ones who do not shake their fists at God or question His goodness, but instead “count it all joy” ( James 1:2), knowing that trials prove that they are truly the children of God. “Blessed is the man who endures temptation, because having been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him” (James 1:12). Finally, God uses suffering to take our eyes off this world and put them on the next. The Bible continually exhorts us to not get caught up in the things of this world, but to look forward to the world to come. This world and all that is in it will pass away, but the kingdom of God is eternal. Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world” ( John 18:36), and those who would follow Him must not see the things of this life, both good and bad, as the end of the story. Even the sufferings we endure and which seem so terrible “are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed in us” ( Romans 8:18). Could God prevent all suffering? Of course. But He assures us that “all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose” ( Romans 8:28). So even suffering is part of the “all things” that God is using to accomplish His good purposes. His plan is perfect, His character is flawless, and those who trust Him will not be disappointed. 1 Like |
