After the above dream, i finally got the conviction i needed. I knew the time had come to do what must be done. Few days after this dream, on this beautiful Tuesday afternoon, i said a short prayer, gathered all this weavons and wigs poured anointing oil on them, headed downstairs, found a corner in the compound and set them on fire. I stood, smiled and watched it all burn to ashes. For the first time, i just didn't care what i will do with my hair, i didn't care about the money i have lost because they were quite expensive. For the first time, i discovered this freedom that can't be explained. It was as though God was preparing my mind for this decision because at the time i was taking it, it wasn't hard at all.

I have since gotten a new job. I am learning to love braiding my hair and keeps looking for new simple cute styles. Am getting used to it. On days i just don't feel like doing much, i just cover it with turban. Surprisingly, i don't miss the wigs and i doubt if i ever will.

And just yesterday, i came across this short documentary on YouTube by Refinery29 titled "the truth about where hair extensions comes from". Previously i had this notion that most hair extensions comes from specially refined synthetic fibers, i believed that even the ones termed " human hair" in the market are just fibres refined more than others. I also knew that we also had ones made from real human beings hair.
Well this documentary shined a new light on what i thought i knew. I got to know that about 90% of most hairs sold in the market are made from real human beings hair and mostly sourced from Indian temples where most devotees go to shave their hairs annually as a form of devotion while some hairs are sourced from saloon shaved hairs that will be later combined with synthetic fibers to produce a not so expensive "human hair" brands. Yes, there are still pure synthetic hairs in the market today but these days, they are hardly worn because they look cheap and less classy.

Now i have gotten all the conviction i need. I am aware of the fact that the above might not be everyone's narrative, i know some people that went through the same deliverance and continued with their weavons and are doing okay but i guess we don't fight the same battles and the story cannot be the same for everyone. However am just shading light on mine. There are battles you can never win if you don't let go of certain passion and addiction.
However as children of God created in the image and likeness of God, fearfully and wonderfully made, the question therefore is whether we having been created in this great image have by certain actions doubted the perfection of God's creation. We are individually created, ethnically and geographically placed by God for distinct and unique reasons but we through our actions have tried to unify that which is made to be distinct.
If God had intended for all hairs to be the same, he would have made it so, he gave you that kinky hair for a reason, you don't need to chemically alter it or head to the market to buy the ones shaved off from an Indian in the temple to look beautiful. We need to start questioning some actions which we have termed "ordinary " as Christian and the spiritual significance of these actions. We are told in the bible that a woman's hair is given to her for her glory; for me this is what happens spiritually, God has given you this beautiful and unique hair for your glory but you head to the salon, weave it in other to hide it, purchase the glory which belongs to another and covers it; no wonder we sometimes fail to achieve our full potentials in life and battle one spiritual affliction after another. We knowingly invite demons into our lives and then cry out to God to save us. Through this actions we have indirectly questioned Gods creation ability, its like unknowingly we keep saying to God "father, i don't like your handwork".
The worst is that most of these hairs are hairs dedicated to idols.

Hello brother Charles. Thanks for the mention! I was trying to rephrase what I had earlier written, but later forgot. Thanks once again. I am glad that I can still remember vividly the experiences I had that day. Around 5am while I was still asleep, was in a dream, in the dream I saw a man who stood and was steering at me with all seriousness, and urgency. He called me by name and said, "Come let us pray for the church, a supernatural experience is coming against her. I could feel the words as a whisper in my ears literally. As I tried to wake up, I could not, because I was pressed down, the pressing was so strong and persistent. I began to scream; Jesus Jesus Jesus. I am sure neighbors could hear the screams. Then finally I woke up. I was confused and angry. Why would I have such a dream, and at the same time attacked by a demon?

Education refers to learning generally and is not limited to schools.

School is a curriculum based setting that primarily teaches and nurtures a child's mind.

Knowledge simply refers to what you know. After reading this, your knowledge adds up. It has always does. So it's not reliant on schools.

Career refers to a chosen field motivated by interest of a person and dedicated to ensure survival.

Listen to me, and feel free to quote me, education ends in Secondary school, career is the only motivation for tertiary institutions.

When Zuckerberg left Harvard, he left because he believes in his mind that he could develop a career in his own without relying on a myopic syllabus.

He tried his luck, that is free to do, it worked. You know what happened next? The school saw that they couldn't have built him up to achieve what he had and they awarded him HONORARY DOCTORATE.

That is same with so many people like him. Check out great people, it is not school syllabus that got them where they are but ability to think and make things happen.

This is what many do not possess. That is not a problem, but if you possess such ability it is best that it is used judiciously.

Anyone saying education is key should note that a SSCE holder from a standard school is fully educated officially and he may choose his career from any angle.

It is also myopic and less intelligent to think that it is all about BSc MSc while there's nothing in the head than log of syllabuses which unfortunately would be forgotten in few years and most unfortunately is not applicable to our day to day lives at least within our Nigeria...

Please can you create a topic on this here on nairaland so that people will learn and understand this things. I see a lot of shallow minds amongst our youths, and it really beats my imagination. Most of all, Nigeria's school system needs total revamping.

when I was very young, around 5 years, I used to lock up myself in a room and pray, I mean hot prayer.
I use to see varieties of vision then, and they came to pass. My parents then were surprised that at that my little age I was flowing.

Fast forward to my secondary school days, the fire became reduced alot. I don't normally pray like before.
When I was in jss3, I could remember vividly, I saw a vision at the middle of the night about my classmate that her mother died, I woke up immediately and started praying, but I didn't inform anybody.
Between me and God, it was not long we heard her mother was dead, I was surprised that she died with the prayer I had, well God knows...
Last year I saw a vision about myself and told one of our prophet and he explained it to. Me. Last month too I saw another one about myself. I'm still surprised that I still see vision despite my sinful way. All the prophets I've met (in my church) were saying the same thing, that I got something special and the devil is trying all his best to see that I fall. He embedded some strange characters in me that I don't know how it started, even mom was surprised.
Well, some of my strange characters were due to some of my classmates at school then (let me level that aside)

In terms of hard/difficulty of the concepts? No. It is the same as most other courses, difference is the standards, C's and D's are not tolerated in many of their courses. Pharmacy and medicine are overrated, for me physics is more hard/difficult than all, and the most underated course in Nigeria.

Very poor scriptwriting for a very much anticipated Tv show. Thank God the show has ended. Prison break still remains my best tv series ever.

The aftermath

It was many years ago that i had this visitations from Jesus and the angels. Many times , I look reflect on those times and smile. A lot has happened now since then. Now I'm married to a loving husband and two beautiful kids. (Twins)

Finally, the book has been written. I've published it on so many websites, stores and published it on many places.
People keep calling or mailing me to thank me, appreciate or support me. And I feel so blessed.

One woman told me that the night before she decided to commit suicide, she had a dream and an angel mentioned the book to her . she woke up and googled it and read. That's what made her believe it wasn't over for her.

In all im grateful to God for the opportunity to be used as a tool. Although Jesus choose me, I realize that , he could have used anyone, even people better than me.
And for this I'm most grateful.

Jesus, love of my life. You gave my beauty for ashes. When I thought all hope was gone for me, then you gave me more, and for that, i'll be eternally grateful.

The way you described Jesus is exactly how I saw him in a dream over 15 years ago. I was living a sinful life at the time even though I was born again. I gave my life to christ at a crusade at a very young age, even though I didn't know how serious the decision I took was at the time. What I knew afterwards is that somehow my life began to change, I began to love the things of God, I began to tell my friends about Jesus from primary school. I could spend hours studying the scriptures, my knowledge of God began to increase, I became very sound in mind, and spirit, I was excellent at almost everything I do. To cut the story short, I began to fall back because I was introduced to pornography by a friend. my life began to display the opposite, my peace and joy was stolen. I became angry, full of hate, it was as though I'd lost everything. One day while I slept, I had a dream, I saw myself climbing a mountain, as i reached the peak, I saw Jesus, I don't know how i knew it was Him, deep in my spirit I just knew He was the one, because there is nothing evil about Him, unlike the angels and any other being, when you look at him, you see one full authority and power, and at same time so simple and genle, full of love and peace. He stood right there looking at me, His eyes are full expressions, don't know how to describe how beautiful His eyes are and the feelings you get when you look at them. He did not say a word but from His look He seem to say; "Son turn from your evil ways and return to me" . Suddenly a bright light shone from Him, the force of it pushed me down from the mountain, and then I woke up.

It hasn’t being easy. Coping with life on earth. At first when I came back, so many things were happening to me. my spiritual eyes would be opened. I would look into the streets and God would opened my eyes to see things. Especially in market places. We need to be very careful when we go out and pray every time.
Some beautiful girls on the road that I pass aren’t human beings but demons. Once they discover that I know who they are, they will eye me with hatred and hiss or avoid me totally like a plague. Lol.
I see some people on the road with guardian angels, especially children. The angels just look at me and smile as the follow who they were assigned too.


I’ve missed heaven so much. Life on earth is so dull and dry. Whether cars or house, or money…it doesn’t make up to anything in heaven, even just the children’s portion is better than the nest houses on earth.
Many times I gaze up at the night sky and wonder what will Jesus be doing now. Lol.

It hasn’t also being easy to serve God. But I remember his promise to me that his grace would be sufficient for me, and indeed it has being. I still struggle with my besetting sins but his strength is made perfect in my weakness. Amen.
I’ll beseech you to make him your lord and savior. I wouldn’t want to start telling you to say this or say that. No. instead, ill ask you to speak t him the way you speak to a friend, your best friend. He doesn’t have protocols to see him. Provide you come to God in the name of Jesus, he will always accept you.


Don’t bother about all the sins in the past, or mistakes.
The Lord made a PROMISE in

John 6:37, “He That Cometh To Me I Will In No Wise Cast Out.” The Lord's integrity is at stake. He must keep His promise. Titus 1:2, “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.” [i][/i]

Thanks Sir, that opened spiritual eyes. Maybe that explains why if I close my eyes, another eyes will seem to shut itself inside me. After few seconds of closing my normal eyes. God. My life is just weird. There are many more things that I get afraid of about myself. If I get attack in the dream. If I release my hands, it will just shoot out a string of pure white lines of energy. It gets the enemy in terror.

On the contrary bro. Did I hear you say; you feel waves of energy leaving and entering your body? The palm of your hands and legs shoots out vibrating energy, and you feel a kind of pressure between your eyes? I think you need help bro, cos these and more of what you mentioned are nothing but paranormal experiences. Did you consciously or unconsciously dabble into the occult? Check your ancestry to know if anyone dined with the devil. Go and see a man of God.
