@Babaogun ure not serious oo whats wrong with my position on the fantasy table? nyways, the rigs they sunk are valued at over 500m already (those are prized assets) contracts are pledged and other underlining securities and deals we saw in that link u dont need ernst and young to value that at 1 billion ![]() |
freezy:im lost what are you correcting? that the single obligor limit is not cast in stones? where did i say it is not to protect shareholders interest? if you know about the deal, you'll commend FBN for granting so much to a company who has decided to play in a biz primarily dominated by the majors. Like a said, the CBN will give waivers and waivers to ensure an indigenous company is empowered to play in the upstream. Maybe you do not know, not only CBN gave express approvals to Adulo and co to ensure the smooth running od Seawolf, NAPIMS, NNPC, DPR and other regulatory bodies gave speedy approvals to help those guys. That is a business that must be supported, FBN threw caution to the wind to make it a success and why not? they are represented on the board. CBN knows this, CBN knows the shareholderds funds will not be eroded, hence the waivers like i said before, this deal will only create success for the parties and if not the 2 parties, FBN will not lose a dime FACT!!!! |

I dont know which to respond to, ur response to me or Saga First thing first The single obligor limit directive for banks is not always cast in stones- It is just a means to check the excesses of banks so many deals go on with CBNs backing that you'll probably wont get to know about such deals. The waivers are there to make sure compelling biz cases dont get killed in the name of CBN regulation An illegal loan is a loan that you get through the back door so i dont know what you mean by seawolf transaction is an illegal loan. The board knows about it, the apex bank knows about it, the deal is fully collaterarised and even if the fundamentals go wrong like oil prices dropping to sub 50, the bank will not be in any danger. i say again, FBN will not be moved cos all they need to do is instruct First trustees to take over all the assets pledged as securities valued at over a billion dollars. The essence of a loan in the first place is to create wealth for both the offeror and the offeree and whenever that objective is satisfied and all parties laugh at the end of the tenor, then the apex bank will not worry (This is not condoning any malpractices tho) my point is, the apex bank is here to make sure the shareholders fund are not eroded and in this instance, their is no way the seawlf deal will go bad- (at least for FBN) |
To your post contents: Government interference is the reason why NFF is corrupt! The nominees that run sport and being elected to NFF are all nominated by the government, either through the sports ministry or the state associations. Thus the corrupt NFF is a reflection of the corrupt government. Thats what Mariory dumbo cannot understand he needs some spiritual bath in river ogun anitabest:this is not romance section o find ur square root ![]() |
bawomolo:i think so GJ has some people working for him on NL i was gonna sue his ass for making football unavailable for years thank God he listened- Good thing we have a listening President tho thumbs up |
Mariory:Ure a decorated simpleton shinning in bright colors Akainzo has just described you in another word - Animal ![]() You dont know anything and yet you pretend to be educted 1) You dont know the NFF members are nominees from the Govt of the day- do you? so if the Govt representative are corrupt, what does it tell you? 2) you dont know how EFCC works 3) you dont know what exactly FIFA describes as interference in football admin 4) you dont know anything - this is serious read the post by Akainzo and get some perspective you dont have to be a doofus all your life- Get some adult edu |

Ujujoan:blah blah blah rich dude dont fly up and down: Nowadays, rich dudes go after rich gurls-scratch that ur last line is straight from the pit of hell how u give wicked advices on a weekday? they have issues, whatever is troubling the man will ease off soon and they'll be back to their lovey dovey state u dont give wicked advices anymore on this blog or ill whoop ur bum |
babaogun:read what u posted a bridge loan went bad and was converted to a mid term facility; moreover, CBN allows for banks to apply for special waivers even when a transaction will flout the single obligor limit rule of CBN. FBN applied and got a waiver and hence the reason CBN gave them a clean bill of health. This facility isnt and cannot be compared with the Longe loan that went bad cos the securities pldged far outweigh waht FBN has given to seawolf some of the EDs in FBN are on seawolfs board and im sure theyll do anythn to pull this off this cannot be compared to all those uncollaterised personal loans that went bad in some of our commercial banks i know someone who got millions of dollars in one of these banks to build a tank farm in south south. This money was released on a paddy to paddy basis and when yawa gassed, the MD couldnt raise the cash. Those are the kinda deals that nailed these banks not a well structured deal like FBN/seawolf |
hehehe this omugo guy still dey yarn opaks babanla nonsense who get ur time sef? |
oisehumen:nothn o just trying to let him understand his IQ reads in negative integers Mariory:see this suegbe? so the rot in NFF is a one off in Nigeria? what about the rot in other govt establishments in the country? who says when the sports ministry completes the restructuring , the NFF will be free of corruption? if ur comprehension is faulty, my point is: A corrupt entity called Nigeria cannot successfully eliminate all the anomalies in the our football if the macro world still reek of filth which school u go sef? abi den no teach u common sense for the polythecnic wey u go bloody rat |
Why do we have such lazy backward thinkers in Nigeria. Is it the education system? Please explain how you would go about "cleasing 9ja first of its iniquitiesHome grown idi.ot if the statement "cleanse Nigeria if its iniquities first" is backward thinking, then apply to the Nigerian Open University for Adult classes and talking about education, im sure i am much more educated than the king of your clan |
See this arindin What is in the article that says injured players don't start footie games Rooneys remarkable recovery? And yet he started limping after how many mins? And did he play against Chelsea after his remarkable recovery I think u need Babalawos help cos ur penchant for stupid arguments now need spiritual touch |

bones1:im slow what does travial mean o |
tempest01:LOLOLOLOL if NFF is corrupt, is that the only corrupt institution in Nigeria? the corruption in NFF will be found in Presidency, all ministries and parastatals, armed forces, police, OPS, and even the religious houses NFF mirrors the country Nigeria clease 9ja first of its iniquities, then all will be well |
Nigerians are just too funny. When the same people like tkb417 that simply labelled jonathan silly for his earlier action are the same people that condemn this unbanning, then it becomes easy to understand Ebenezer Obey's ketekete song.
but u have eyes oga and u can read very well all ive posted here is either to condemn the ban or run down the President for hurriedly banning without consulting his number 6 so what are u saying? ketekete ko, rakunmi ni ![]() |

Which match was Berba benched with Rooney unavailable o. . . . . .This guy just dey depreciate in sense we had 2 senior strikers apart from Owen (out for season) with one injured against Bayern but yet the coach prefered the injured striker to the able bodied striker and this man is comparing 2 fit players to the scenerio i painted whats wrong with this man? |
Spyker:France was threatened with a ban is France from Asia? |

AmakaOne:i dont know the principle ure talking about o If at this stage, we cannot get the OPS to invest in football to the level where autonomy can be guaranteed, then we shdnt hold FIFA responsible for our lapses FIFA will not lose sleep if we dont play football, we are the ones that will suffer for it. We will effectively create another batch of jobless youth, we will effectively lose out on the other gains associated with playing football in the country. My argument about the ban has nothn to do wth FIFA, its about the attendant suffering those who eat from football will experience coaches, players, marketing agencies, scouts , and all will suffer from the the stupid ban The cost of destroying to rebuild far outweighs whatever gains we'll get from whatever the ban has to offer where have u been o? stil in SA? |
all talk no action President he just made himself a laffing object in the International scene let him go and ban House of Rep too shege |
