She is high off DDK's saliva.
Meanwhile. . . . .Where is DDK these days??
Bayern's 5th position in the Bundesliga has reduced DDK to Chuckdee4 and Loyika.
He is now a poltergeist
Dayo is alive kicking
Muki has taken all he has left! Dude is broke!

Bayern is like Arsenal, no UCL next season grin

whats Brash talking about?
thts gross sad
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by tkb417(m): 4:43pm On Mar 04, 2009
Abeggi. . . . .Those ones are not refined defensive midfielders.
Makelele is the purest defensive midfielder i know. He invented it.
He never bovvers to bomb forward and a seasoned observer is quick to realise he is a hub that releases his teammates to start their attack.
Claude Makelele's short passes in front of his box is so neat and before you know it. . . . .things are happening.
I didn't see that quality with Dunga or Deschamps or Mauro Silva. Those ones are just shy or hide on big occasion.
na u sabi
Dunga was a DM.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by tkb417(m): 4:40pm On Mar 04, 2009
They named the position after Makelele, remember??
Nope!!
there were DMs b4 Makalele. what makalele did was to create another version of the DM
thts what they now call the 'Makalele role'
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by tkb417(m): 4:38pm On Mar 04, 2009
What the hell is Sauron talking about "mention one DM before Makelele?"

WTF would you call Dunga, Deschamps, David Batty, Mauro Silva etc?
help me ask him o!
i dunno why Sauron calls Dunga a CM
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by tkb417(m): 4:36pm On Mar 04, 2009
Denilson is no DM. Only a local maga would call him that. Who dash monkey banana? I would actually call him a CM.

Since tkb and Debosky are lacking basic comprehension, I will pull out my original quote:
grin grin idiot
Quote from: Ibime on Today at 02:50:35 PM
Whilst Denilson (good offensive midfielder) was playing DM
i didnt see this oga. where did you cut this from? grin

I wanted to show that I consider Denilson to be a good player, but a bad DM, hence I inserted brackets.
okiz

Roy Keane n Vieira were box to box midfielders.
They raid opponent's back four more than Cesc or Iniesta are doing these days.
Of course, they were gritty but they had license to bomb forward and score goals.
A traditional defensive midfielder does not go forward at all. . . . .He sits in front of his back four a la Makelele.
They named the position after Makelele, remember??
edit that my post abeg
i changed ma post to box-box midfielders b4 u replied grin grin grin

Dunga was a DM!!!

sauron

for UTD & Arsenal
Keano and Viera were the box to box midfielders (DM)

what role did Dunga play when he was playing?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by tkb417(m): 4:08pm On Mar 04, 2009
Mention one defensive midfielder before MAKELELE.
dont do this Jackal
Are you saying we never used to have a DM position b4 Makelele?
ure missing it jiggar
The makelele role is another type of DM. We've always had people playing as a DM
Most times, they call them Libero cos they've got the ability to attack, pass the ball and also defend very well.
The makalele role is the one that sits in front of the defence and wouldnt go forward too much
a typical DM goes forward, retracts, spray passes and does all sorts on d field.
Roy keane is that kind of player.

Gerrard used to play like that for both England and Liverpool

There are 2 central midfielders who take turns to stay behind when the other bombs forward.
It's like saying either one of Gerrard or Lampard are defensive midfielders when playing for England. . . . . How come??
nah! i dont agree
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by tkb417(m): 3:53pm On Mar 04, 2009
@ tkb

Abeg help me beg o! Denilson offensive? Did he play in that role for Brasil or for his previous clubside?

Denilson is a defensive midfielder, hence comparisons to Gilberto and Dunga.
Denilson is a DM. Only Ibime will call him an offensive player!!

The only reason people regard him as offensive is because he can pass very well (which is what led to wrong Cesc comparisons). Alonso can pass as well, but is still a defensive midfielder.
huh huh why should anybody think hes offensive cos he can pass the ball? Alonso can pass; Viera can burst forward with the ball, Keano can initiate attack from his DM, Essien score goals et al (these are box to box midfielders). I think his own defination is the Makelele styly.
Most talented DMs tend to have the ability to initiate attack on d field and also be offensive if the need be.
Ballack and Gerrard are also players i know that can play DM and be offensive with the role.

all said, Denilson is a DM

Alan Hansen showed Denilson failing to track back on MOTD, so what? It's like doing an expose on Ade blasting the ball over the bar     - does that mean he isn't a striker?
exactly. That may be his weakness, all players have weaknesses

Debosky don improve o. . . . . .Debosky now uses chalkboard to analyse??

Stop bawling like a baby. . . . .None of em is a defensive midfielder. . . .
Arsenal do not play with a defensive midfielder just like Man Utd.
There's no role called defensive midfielder until Makelele found that role in Real Madrid.
isnt it too early to start drinking henny grin
before Makelele, there were players all over the world playing as DMs
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by tkb417(m): 3:08pm On Mar 04, 2009
And if Denilson is a DM, then I am Japanese!

Denilson is an offensive midfielder! Maybe not one who scores goals, but that is his natural position.

Thank God for Alan Hansen who did an expose on "how many times Denilson fails to track runners from midfield" and completely debunked all of his pretentions to that position. Song can never be accused of failing to track runners. This is the most important job of a DM, besides if Arsenal fans say Song has poor distribution, it must be because they keep getting on his back cos that is not what I saw when he was playing for Charlton.
chei!!!! grin grin grin
you like to say rubbish with pride just like Dayokanu

Denilson an offensive player ? shocked shocked
oya, that means Cesc is a DM with offensive traits or what? hehehehehe

men some people on nairaland will never cease to amaze me.
what i did was to write what was going on at my former workplace to warn jobseekers to be careful, cuz some people actually leave banks where they get a an average salary to bankphb thinking it is all rosy there, even though it isnt rosy anywhere but over there in phb they murder careers and thats what i did to post my opinion then some fools who will die young and who wont mind their businesses are ranting that i should go to authorities, some say i what i did was wrong.well i will take this seriously and reply to each of you calling names but first i will like to say some opinions on here are so stupid, i just wrote what i felt , why dont you go and have a chat with mary bassey or emma abugu.these were ED's that got sacked, go and ask them how they feel and get opinions then you will see that what i wrote is just a tip of the iceberg, all i am saying is job seekers be careful
am happy a lot of people read this thread and made sensible replies but the other fools saying rubbish are probably bankphb present workers who will loose their jobs soon with time, if not today but before you get to your own 10years.Am talking to people like prizeless.you will come back to this thread and tell your own sadder story.
This year there will be joy to the wise----have already been wise by resigning and going for an offer with KPMG.I already concluded the important aspect and going for medical on tuesday thats why i have not been on here as i was busy negotiating a smaller peace of mind package.

I wish all jobseekers on nairaland success.

2) why curse people because they asked you to bring facts and stop dropping names. die young, lose jobs, die and reh reh reh only show the kind of person you are. a tout on the streets!! you work in KPMG?

Big father,

No mind them we are the first to qualify for the Q finals TKB should be thinking about Inter instead he spend most of his time worrying about Bayern. I think its about time Bayern knocks some senses into scummies head.

If UEFA can allow Bayern to play Man Utd in place of Inter in the return leg at OT then we would settle scores once and for all
i have been praying & fasting to meet some clubs in the Q-finals. Bayern is one of them.
Thats how i prayed for Inter so SAF can deal with Mourinho once and for all, now i think that mission is accomplished already.
Expect a total whitewash of Inter at the OT.

as for Bayern, my prayers will be answered and you will see TOTAL FOOTBALL at ur allianz

I raise my glass to that.
he should start on sunday by 'righting' the wrong of his many misses against Burnley in the cc.
Don't worry Debo, when Nic scores, i will be on ur side against Kit
and when Ade scores, I 'll be on Kit's side.
It's all  for the good of Arsenal!
