Nope. . . . .
We don't have a standard Right Back defender. . . . .
Rafael is a talent and he has the potential but he is not the best in England.
All the other positions belong to Man Utd players except Ashley Young's position.
He offers more threat than JS Park or Nani.
what about Gerrards position?
whos better in UTD? nobody
what about Torres's position?
Alonso/Masherano?

Hemp-error,

Is English comprehension the problem or general reasoning?

4 English teams had 7 starters in their line up
1 German team Bayern Munich had 4 Rensing, Lahm, Schweinsteiger and Klose. (Lell was a substitute)

Inter had none, Roma and Juve had like 13. Arsenal had none, Chelsea had 1, Liverpool maybe Carragher Man Utd

4 English teams had 7 and 3 Italian teams had 13!!!!!! Are you still wondering why the National team is wackhuh

Eastbay, I have always been posting though not as much as b4. The performance yesterday is just to tell everyone in Europe we are here. I always post in the Bundesliga thread when we have matches I run the live commentary self
The national team may not be too good. The German team may be good.
Maybe when England stars converting foreigners to play for them just like the Germans and the French do, then im sure they'll start beating u guys silly.
lest i forget, the rubbish english side beat the Germans at their backyard recently. no be so?

I want UTD and Bayern for the next round cos Inter is a forgone issue cool

illl deal with the responses one after the other grin

That is a lie!
Schools set their cut off based on the scores of the applicants not their names or  state of origin.
The top scorer get in
period!
The supplementary lists and all the other mago mago lists are something else.
whre do people get all these lies from?
and thats a white lie!!!
Read well b4 u respond anty. The man gave an instance of an eaterner coming to lasu to study
For an Easterer to be considered before the indigenes, then he'll need to outfox the indigenes with a high score!
but then I went to school way back in the 90's
Things may have changed
maybe maybe not. just confirm

@ Debosky,

Always endeavour to shorten your epistle to the Romans.
now i know what he does in his company. he likes to write sha. na wa

atk417.cut off marks are determined by the number of applicants into a particular university in order to streamline the no of people per course.indigenes are usually given the advantage of lower cut off mark.an imo person studying english in lasu must have entered lasu with higher scores than a lagos indigene.
Ure stating the obvious. If an Ogun indigene tries to enter an eastern school, he'll probably need to score more than the indigene.

however, go to the FED schools that admit on merit, some states are known to always command a higher cut off in this country. IMO isnt part of the states.
my points!!
Education › Re: Look Who Is Going To School In Nigeria: The Statistics May Surprise You by tkb417(m): 5:53pm On Feb 25, 2009
Fake Ghana man! this has nothing to do with the proficiency of SW students, but more to do with the DEMAND for school places in UniBen, UniLag, OAU etc. As long as these Universities are better funded, South Eastern students will flock there, increasing competition for places and increasing the barriers for entry
fake Togo man!!!
what points have you made??
i just tried to enlighten the man with the IMO thingy how untrue his post was. If this whole shebang is about the number of enrolment, then why cant i push the case for the states that have been commanding the highest cut off points?

If cut off points have nothing to do with the proficiency of those that are scoring the points, then take some pill and sleep
Education › Re: Look Who Is Going To School In Nigeria: The Statistics May Surprise You by tkb417(m): 5:32pm On Feb 25, 2009
Sharon doesn't even know that a few years ago, Lagos was an ELDS, not because it was not performing, but because even the ELDS list had to represent "federal character". Besides, you wouldn't find any SE state in that list, not because they may be performing, but because God Forbid that Federal Government try to help Igbo's in any way. Rivers, Cross Rivers and Bayelsa used to be on the list with Lagos, I don't know if they still are. I wouldn't even pay attention to such classifications, when they are based on political machinations, unscientific perceptions and from incorrect census figures.
Those are the ELDS in the country apart from the Nothern states!!
I guess those are SS states. i classify them to be the same thing. grin

Imo is the most educationally developed state in Nigeria and i think encounters the highest cut off mark in all examinations.however, university education is just one factor amongst many in measurement of wisdom and success. Most of our past presidents never went to college.we should therefore not try to use it as a proof of tribal superiority.me sef wey get masters in natural chemistry wetin i dey do?wetin i get?i dey work for person
its too early to take alcohol
the schools that command the highest cut off points in 9ja are the SW unis and the states with the highest cut off points are usually Ogun, Ondo and Ekiti.
so where did u get ur IMO thingy from?

A defence that Blackburn scored against at OT? Inter will score, if they don't, they'll go through on penalties
If Atalanta can score 3 goals against Inter, then we can score 4 at OT!! grin

Did Arsenal not score TWICE against this same defence? Abi Vida was on vacation for that game?
u think Arsenal will not rape that Inter team at the emirates? Inter is a hyped piece of shit i tell you.
All noise no substance like thier coach!

we shall see how Roma will deal with you people in 2 weeks
Education › Re: Look Who Is Going To School In Nigeria: The Statistics May Surprise You by tkb417(m): 3:03pm On Feb 25, 2009
Forget all these excuses. We all know the South-West is more populated than the South-East, which is empty. No be today when Igbo people start to leave South-East Nigeria in their droves. Can you argue that Lagos State is less populated than Bayelsa State? If not, why does Bayelsa State have more University entrants than Lagos State? The simple fact is that the South-West and North need to get their act together.
Is it only about the number of enrolment?

ok, the same JAMB that the poster culled his stats from describe some states as Educationally less developed states! abi no be so?
abeg, apart from the Northern states, can someone tell me the other states that fill the space (ELDS)
SE basically
the SW states command the highest cut off points in Jamb exams ( at least when i wrote JAMB, dunno about now)

Enrolment or no enrolment, a typical yoruba person sabi book pass Igbo people grin grin grin

Eastbay
you dont need a witchdoctor to tell you UTD has the best defence in the world.
And the good thing about this team is that, you cant compare any other attack to ours except barcas.
Our attack is potent, our defence is solid and our midfield is sublime

please, we need the other teams in europe to contribute 11 players cos i dont see how any team will beat us in this competition.
I need Bayern. Imagine doing wht we did to Inter to Bayern shocked
The game would have ended like 4-0!!

i cant wait for the next game at OT. (against Inter)
bring on the CC finals on Sunday and lets start the trophy harvest .

we are going for "every"

@Mancs
Did you guys notice Mourinho was humbled after the game?
Dude isnt saying anything apart from the post match comments which i think is a far cry to his usual din

i cant wait for the final whistle at OT.
I want to hear his comments after that game. Im sure he'll blame the REF or weather for crashing out
slowpoke!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by tkb417(m): 12:42pm On Feb 25, 2009
Inter will draw 1-1 at OT and knock you out.

JM knocked you out with Porto and he will do it with Inter.
Roma will beat u 2-0 grin grin

Debo
that Inter wont score if the game is played in Mourinhos bedroom.
Now i can boast anywhere about our defence.
Thats the best defence in the world.

Can you remember you and Diva said the reason we didnt concede in 14 games was cos of poor opposition.
It just happened in San Siro. Zlatan and Adriano were pocketed by oshea and Evans
se your life grin

when Vida comes back, if they get 3 shots at goal in 90 mins, ill give you my sister.
That Inter cant score against UTD lailai. U remember what we did to Chelsea? no shots at goal in 90 mins!!
we are just too much.

My prediction for the game at OT is UTD 2- Inter 0
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by tkb417(m): 10:00am On Feb 25, 2009
Bravo UTD!!!
fantastic performance. Nobody gave us any chance b4 the game and now they are saying we shoulda won huh huh
idiots!!! we had it planned all out. The game will be dusted at the OT. Nice game CR7
but we need to do somthing to that J.Cesar keeper. asshole grin

Positives

20th UCL GAME UNBEATEN(New European record).
Ronaldo proved his worth in a big game.
Keeping a clean sheet without Vidic.
Vidic will play @ OT!!!
Carrick destroyed Inter Milan's field.
Chances were created.

Negatives

We shoulda scored AT LEAST a goal.
Another clean sheet record has just started.
i agree with you. But the game is ours to be thrown away
Inter is wack!!!
I won a 10,000 bet yesterday cos some Chelski idiots predicted a loss for UTD and i said never!!

Inter has a mountain to climb? Nah, they played poorly and escaped without conceding.

Fergie will be very pissed at this result. With all the chances and firepower, no goal. Inter will be highly confident of nicking something now.

Yeye unbeaten record. . .y'all will draw at OT and go out with your 'unbeaten' record left.

Man Utd, saying we 'created chances'? Pathetic.

What value did Ronaldo show? with no goals?
what kinda talk is this? so if you go to Roma and play 0-0 ure out?
if you cant win your home games, expect the worst in europe.
at least 90% of home games are won in europe grin

Ok. . . . .The troglodytes are out again to spew nonsense.
We just played 0-0 with Inter at San Siro with a make-shift defence and did not concede.
Why would SAF be pissed?? We gave a good account of ourselves and the result is better than your single goal at the Emirates.
Just watch as Roma would rape your asses in Rome in the next 15 days
i think the gaynners have some plastics in their brains!!
why bother explaining.

We shall see Sharon - but it will be foolhardy for you not to realise that there was a BIG chance missed tonight
exactly what everybody said when CR7 missed a penalty at the camp Nou!! we all know what happened at the other side.

Two weeks from now, you could have worse injuries - who knows? Only play in the present - you lost your chance to win today and it MIGHT cost you at OT. That's the reality of the matter, especially since Inter don't even have to win. A score draw would do for them.
its possible ur team get walloped 4-0 too in a fortnight. Everything is possible in footie
If all Inter needs to do is play 1-1, then dont you think all Roma need to do is win 2-0?
u can always say anything but how possible is it for Inter to get a goal with that dismal performance they put up at home?
they are going to the Devils den you know? not Atalanta or Leece
its over for the talkative Mourinho

@ debosky,

What would you have said if the first leg was played at Old Trafford
and it ended goaless. I'm sure you would have been saying Inter
would do us at the San Siro.
very valid question!! oh i forgot
MINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grin grin grin

anyone who thinks Inter can get a draw at OT should see a Doctor

The gulf between the two teams is a billion miles.
If you can be outplayed like that, then i dunno how such a team will survive at OT
I think they should ask Roma, Barca and Chelsea how it feels playing at the OT

i said it, Maureen is just filled with dirty antics. Nothing up his sleeves
abeg, did anybody see Zlatan and Maicon?
i tot they were supposed to shred our team in 2 equal halves

I understand how u feel, we just have to find a way out. If we have to play carrick as a make shift CB then so it will be. But then hope JO is ok to free Carrick for his normal position.

Am sure JM is thinking they can kill us off with our injury problems, but he also has to be weary of our attack.

I also think we could play fletcher and scholes in the middle, Park/Nani and Ronaldo at the wings with Tevez and Rooney upfront.

How badly injured is Anderson?
