Bruh you have nailed it ooh
The reason for early resumption is to settle in well on time and sabi the country small. That being said, one also have to be calculative financial wise.
So, thanks for your advice.
kennyjoy:

I know right lol people wan move before resumption, but to be candid, you need to plan well, imagine arrived 3months before your resumption, you started balling, paying rent if at all you were lucky to get a room self, most stay at AirBNB which it’s lot of money, buying groceries, you will start eating foodstuffs you bring from 9ja ooo, foodstuffs that suppose to last you for atleast a semester or two EXCEPT you have a families/friends who is already here to settle you IN softly, even if at all they want to helped you, coz most friends and families will want you to pay your own bills, then go let you that no be den send you come Canada.

I came in a month before my resumption, when I calculated how much I already spent, just for a month ooo without working heeeeeheee.

In a nutshell, I'm not discouraging anyone who want to resume early, just make sure you have a legitimate reason, also put some other factors in place.

Thank you for sharing your idea on the matter.
I have also asked someone who’s living in Canada and he said anyone with a valid visa can enter Canada way ahead of time before school starts.

All the answers so far are valid and I really appreciate your time to share your ideas/thoughts…

yusmuf001:
Bro, I don't think so, I have a friend who is Canada since May 2022 and he is for September 2022 intake. The only issue is that the immigration officer might ask why you're coming early. Also, they might want to ask a few questions, but most times they don't ask. I plan to enter early too.

One thing we need to know is this, Canadian govt needs our money - my guy said he heard that they call international students cashing cows grin

I have also asked some experienced travel agents such as wakadoctor and co, and they said you can enter anytime you want so far you have your visa. Visa is key and also your money (that's one reason the immigration officer will be particular about)

my advice for anyone who has their visa ahead of resumption is to try and pay for another semester now. But note that, you can't work without your school enrolment letter.

If my statement sounds rude or offensive, please pardon my manner because tomorrow is Sunday.

Ok. Thank you for sharing.
Where you asked questions as to why?
gaeul:
I traveled three months before resumption though but then again nau risk

Thank you for sharing your inputs.
I Appreciate it mahn
johnstan:

From a zoom meeting I had with my school in preparation for resumption, you can enter Canada anytime, however, you will need to explain to immigration the reason for your early entry.

If the reason is to stay with family members, relatives etc to get acquainted with the environment then you wouldn't have a prob with immigration.
You will also need to show your health insurance to immigration that will cover you till school resumes because the one that comes with your study permit will not be active till your school resumes.

So if this two is checked and any other that may arise then you're good. If they don't check it's advisable you chill till 2-3 weeks to your resumption.

MsLane:
Hello guys,

I got admitted to Fleming College to study Project Management (1Yr or 8months) and to Seneca College (2yrs) to study Business Marketing.
Both courses are because I am working as a Product Manager in Marketing.
I want to know if after paying the tuition deposit for Seneca for 1st semester, the POF should show for 2years living expense and 3 semester balance. Am I correct?

10 working days.
daffy22:
How long did you wait after getting an email that your passport is being processed by ircc before getting the last email?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by tlk2Prince(m): 6:00pm On Nov 08, 2022
From what I know, you should have a vacant space in your data page for visa stamp and your passport should be valid for the duration of the visa.

Thelz:

Please if you do not mind me asking, my passport will expire august next year which is more than 8months now ..does it mean I have to renew for new one before sending to them when they request for it..or can I still use it and renew when it expires ..please I need urgent answer on this because am in between renewing or leaving it because of stress and time it would take please

I told the security man at the front entrance that I came for passport collection and that was it.
When I got in, I did the same and picked a number, waited for my turn to be attended to and I was told by the attendant that my passport is not yet ready for collection..
Shugapee:

Hi who did you speak to when you went there. The security was very dismissive when I went

Went to VFs this morning to check on my passport and it was not ready for pick up. Minutes after leaving, I got a mail that my application with tracking number…….. has been dispatched from IRCC Abuja office to Canada visa application Center. Does this mean my passport is ready for pickup?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by tlk2Prince(m): 6:27am On Nov 07, 2022
Yea I tracked it and its being forwarded to Canada visa office… Another waiting lol
Profgordons:

Did you try to track it? If you don’t get an sms they will just give a dismissive response that you should wait for their sms. I saw people get such responses on Thursday while I was there in Abuja.

I think what the embassy meant, your uncle or Aunty must have some sort of connection with you.
It is only
Normal that your family members sponsors you while studying abroad.
So, provide proof that you are related to your Uncle

Hello

I hope the previous comment before mine answered your question. In addition to that, Bulgaria is not very organised per say as you would have to sort your way to get things done.
Before you settle for PR in Bulgaria or Citizenship make sure the country is worth it.

Kahbahsah:
Greetings to all elders in this thread.

Please my question is; if I get into Bulgaria as a student, apart from marriage, what is required for me to move from just being a student to become a permanent resident and maybe citizen? I make my income online so I am not after getting jobs, I am after living in a well organised and beautiful country with affordable cost of living, so that my income can take me further.

Thanks for the anticipated responses

Good Sunday morning guys!

I pray this week for good news for US all.
PPR go roll in IJN Amen.

I really admire the efforts everyone of us put in this Canada movement because truth be said, at the of it all it’s worth it when we finally land in Canada and starts chasing our dreams. That been said, it should not stress us out like this not at all. One thing I don’t like is waiting too long, I like to know my faith and get ON.
For those that got refused after the long wait and hope that it comes out positive, I feel for you.

Now so many of you are considering the UK and that is excellent because the most important thing is that we have a life and make I meaning out of it. You can also get to Canada from UK if you still want it.

If you need help with schools in the UK I can drop a page here that can assist you with it and it’s totally free and at the moment you don’t need to pay any processing fee.
This is a suggestion tho and a way to cheer you up to continue until you win..
