Find out about Transfer Wise (WISE) a financial institution in Estonia. They hire people from abroad and process their residence. It could be a good start for your IT start up..

Are you already in Bulgaria?
And yes improve in your skills and you will definitely find suitable jobs across Europe.

ajayidebo:
This helps.. Might have to work on the IT part to improve my chances. I need to further develop my UI UX design skills.

Bulgaria is only good for one thing as far I can remember. It’s a cheap country both locals and foreigners.

If your a person with high ambitions, goals and stability and you have others who rely on you back home the I’d suggest you have other plans and not make Bulgaria your final destination.

Johnbosco1:
Hi Nairalanders in the building,

Please can someone tell me how life is for immigrants in Bulgaria? I'm looking for specific details as quality of living, rent, feeding expenses, tax, transportation, security, weather and community engagement.

I'm considering a relocation based on a job so I'm doing a bit of a research. I have read as many articles I can find online and have also spoken to some locals (Bulgarian colleagues), but I just want to hear from my Naija families who are living or had lived in Bulgaria.

Your contributions are highly appreciated .

There are 2 possible route that I am very sure will get to Schengen zone.

1. Apply to a school in any of the Schengen countries and move there.

2. If you are a skilled person (IT) then you can find jobs across Europe and the organisations will take care of your arrival.
Hope it helps and feel free to ask your questions.

ajayidebo:
@tlk2Prince as per our discussion. Can you please explain how you legally move away from Bulgaria to study/live and work in the Schengen zone. The challenges you faced of any. Also, if you know any other way apart from being an exchange student, I will gladly appreciate.

Thanks

Honestly I don’t know how this guys will receive someone’s application and just drop it off somewhere or the person/people handling the application are on vacation ahbi sick… I don’t get it.
It is really not normal for a student application to last more than the time frame, I can’t make any sense of it.
Mine just showing “ we are reviewing your application and will get back to you if we need anything”

It’s months now and I wonder what they still reviewing for Gods sake. I can only wait and be hopeful.

Segun7201:

Hello brother…
Can you drop a message in the Bulgarian thread and I will answer you. Thank you

ajayidebo:
Good day brother @tlk2Prince. I noticed your moniker from the Bulgaria thread you championed. If you don't mind I want to ask you some questions in respect of moving from Bulgaria to the Schengen zone legally and how you did it during your time.

Everyone’s case is different you know and IRCC or VOs have their eyes on things we don’t consider very important. Your comment is same like the previous
Previous one.
I believe he shared his concerns here to get advice on what to do about his situation, so in my opinion I’d suggest you get your documents to match or back it up with affidavit. You can also ignore believing it’s nothing just like the other guys did.

olokings:
If he is not going for an undergrad program, then he has nothing to worry IRCC about that issue.
My WAEC has different date of birth both year and day were errorneous, my birth certificate has one of my name (firstname precisely) incomplete. I didnt add my waec not any of my SSCE results to my burden of proof (credentials). as for my birth certificate, i added the thing like that and did not give any explanations because, my international passport, national ID, and NIN slip were all in sync.

oh, and i forgot to mention, one of my Diploma (ND precisely) didnt have my middle name. so all those issues really doesnt matter, mentioning them and trying to resolve them with our wishy-washee judicial system is only adding questionable complexities to your application.

I hope the OP gets this. Good luck

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by tlk2Prince(m): 5:02am On Sep 24, 2022
Be sure to get affidavit from high court NOT any other court and you are good..
If possible, state the reason for the mistake on your WEAC certificate. If you have more documents that proofs your correct date, attach them all.
Good luck
ademma2022:
HELLO house, please i have an issue which i am yet very clear about, my WAEC result as a different date from my international PASSPORT and NIN, BIRTH CERTIFICATE, and i have gone to WAEC head offices here in lagos to see if they can correct the error but they said they do not correct error anymore , my question now is hope this wont affect my visa application as i intend to back the certificate with a notarized affidavit ?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by tlk2Prince(m): 4:42am On Sep 24, 2022
Easy break down…
Have in your account your tuition fees for the entire program and money for upkeep 1k Cad per month.
Your program runs for 2 years have the money in your account + 24k Cad for 2years up keep.
Then your account is good for visa application…
You don’t need proof of account to gain admission…
EnglandAmaka:
Good evening all.

Does one need to have all these money listed here or some of it like in UK before you are given admission and subquently get a visa?

If i have between 15k CAD to 20k CAD, can i get admission in this school?

If i get admission, will i be able to get a visa with like 20k CAD?

Thanks as i anticipate your response

Thank you so much…
Your explanation is crystal and it took away all my worries…
johnstan:

To make it clearer, when it comes to validating your statement, info like your balance, transactions presented on the statement etc will be made available to the embassy. You don't want to try Nigerians when it comes to inflating account balances and formulating transactions that did not occur. Account statements can be edited so don't be surprised or think that the account holder will be contacted before the Bank validates the info.

Your personal info like your home address, date of birth, BVN and the likes may not be released to the embassy. Your full name and address would be on the statement anyways.

Accessing the funds in your account does not render your statement invalid or raise suspicion, you're not under obligation to stop transacting on your account because you submitted it as POF rather you're to simply ensure that the amount set aside is not grossly affected.

Hope you understand.

Yes you are right on that part, embassy have the right to verify bank statements if they sense any doubt.
But, do embassies also have the power to know how much is in your account?

Let’s say you applied for a visa and submitted your bank statement with a closing account and your application has passed processing time and you needed money for some necessary things and you used from the money in your account that you used to apply for the visa… That’s my angle of concentration in all these visa applications and delays and embassy right to check your account..

I hope I’m making sense tho…

johnstan:

You're right about not revealing customers info to third parties, however, this does not apply to institutions (an embassy for instance), the bank will not hesitate to validate the authenticity of your info when asked without consulting you the account holder, that's how the embassy figures out genuine and fraudulent account statements (it's usually not based on assumptions)

Like for real bro…
Some people just know how to mess things up for other people. Truth is, it will come back to affect them when they apply for PR because IRCC dey observe…
Thomsyne:

Yeah?? It explains their extreme scrutiny. Many of us know the end-goal for this study thing is PR but I mean, people should just follow due process to avoid immigration wahala. When matter sup, they'll say its village people.

That is arguably true.
An immigration consultant led me to believe that in the application form, we consent that VO have the right to demand applicants bank statements or to see the money in the applicant account. Or VO have agents in banks that help them check this things.

The one theory that makes sense to me is VO can confirm applicants bank statements/bank details to be sure it’s authentic.
Amosey:

Under the banker customer relationship, it’s the duty of the bank to keep the customer account confidential. The bank will never review any information regarding it’s customer’s account to a third party without its customer consent.

I have read people say so here but I doubt any credibility in such. If a bank reviews the state of it’s customer account to a third party without the express or written consent of the customer, the bank can be held liable if sued for breach of contract.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by tlk2Prince(m): 1:15am On Sep 23, 2022
Quick question for the gurus in the house!

Do you still have all the money intact in your account after applying for the student visa until you get PPR?
I heard IRCC can verify your bank statements or check your funds in your account to be sure.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by tlk2Prince(m): 8:24pm On Sep 22, 2022
You are making so much sense man, I was surprised myself to hear Indians getting PPR back2back, not that I doubt the message because it could be possible too.

I can also remember one applicant from India that committed suicide because of the long wait and the next day he got approval.

To be honest, I did not expect this poor management from advanced country like Canada. Waiting without no concrete reason is BS, frustrating and annoying too.
The least they could do is attend to prospective students well on time because these are peoples future/plans they are putting on hold.

Because there’s not much we can do after putting so much effort and submit our applications, let’s wait it out and surely it ends in praise.

Xclusiveman:
This isn’t true. Attached is an open letter written by Indian students to the IRCC. As you can see, even the ones who applied in April through SDS were waiting as of mid - late August, while the the regular applicants have gotten theirs.

Despite being pivotal to Canada’s elaborate immigration programs, I think IRCC is poorly funded and visa officers do things how they like. If not, we won’t be seeing too many cases of applicants winning appeals.

For me, once you submit your application, what happens is unpredictable and there’s very little you can do, unless there are issues you HAVE to address.

For real? Indians getting PPR and we are here waiting like say na heavenly race. The whole wait dey frustrating tbh but last last we’d get a positive result.
Thomsyne:

I tire too o. I believe Nairobi office should handle African applications. There’s a lady I watch her YouTube daily and Indian July applicants are already receiving PPRs in bulk.

I wonder why we still have so many May, June and a lot of July applications pending for those of us from this part of the world.

E tire me too honestly.
But that’s one of the reasons they have crazy backlog.. Canada dey accept people from Ukraine that are affected by the war. It’s my opinion though but make them give us visa already, the wait don too much
Letuspraytogod:
Wetin concern Nairobi concern Ukraine?
Make them let other countries do Ukraine nah. Na everything Nairobi wan process?

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by tlk2Prince(m): 1:56pm On Sep 22, 2022
I can think of one reason causing the delay of applications… The Ukraine - Russia war. Canada have unprepared backlog that it’s affecting both prospective students… na to wait and be hopeful walahi because worrying won’t help. They no even dey reply we form quick or mails at all

Khalifah7459:

I was asked to fill the form too which I did and have send it to 4 Nairobi mail and also Webform like 4 times per day for 3 days now still not yet updated only the date keep shifting
