On point one inadequate supply or low supply points more to a famine, there isn’t a low supply of plantain in the market infact you will still see them in abundance it’s just ridiculously expensive and the question is why

(1) It (the supply) should have been more than that if farmers are free to farm.
(2) It's as a result of the value of our naira. In all of these the people i pity most are the low salary earners, as there may really be nothing left off their salaries after home expenditures

Most of these cash crops are grown within Nigeria so what happened that a paint of beans rose from 800 to 4500

Also the plantain one what happened on the farm that all of a sudden it’s now 2k a bunch of plantain cub

Is it the general inflation affecting everything or a specific issue with harvesting

If it’s harvesting of crops then it should automatically lead to a famine or shortage of same crops not abundance

So I really don’t understand why plantain rice beans almost things that are grown for almost for free keep rising with dollar price that has nothing to do with it in the first place

(1) Law of demand and supply. At the moment we have low supply as most farmers are out of farms consequently leading to the higher price.
(2)The plantain also needs to buy beans and as it stands even selling all his harvested plantain may not meet his needs for beans, so the better alternative that he has is increase the price for the commodity he has in order to avail him enough cash to meet his needs(beans)

If we developed the seeds we can make it at 3000 per 25kg which would give u 8kg or so per 1000

For a conversion rate of 1:2 for the first 8 weeks ...we produce a 3kg for around #400 feed , birds n drugs can be dropped to 500 so that's 900 to raise sale for #1500 ...that's only when families can buy them

For now it's not viable

Well, as much as i am not totally against your supposed 8m quotation for your project, many factors could have been responsible for such an high quotation
1) Nature of land; (Dry or Wet) Wet/swampy lands most often do require much reinforcement and sand filling while on the other hand, a dryland requires reinforcement and sand filling, thus leading to higher cost
2)Land Topography; Slants on lands can be responsible for a higher foundation and subsequently a higher materials and cost.
3)The plan and size of the project; depending on the plan of the house which could be a storey, 2 storey etc can be a factor to be considered when planning foundation for your project as the higher the proposed plan, the more the quantity and quality of materials to be used, so also the larger the project size/area, the higher the cost.

Regardless of any of the highlighted factors, there's no reason why a 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom apartment will cost you 8m .Not possible.

I don't know why this should be a big issue. All CBN need to do is to establish following process where if one need to pay for goods outside the country or go on vacation

1 Go to the bank initiate a wire transfer and pay for the goods This way no need for individual to have foreign currency in their hand
2, If going on vacation establish a limit on allowable FX exchange like $5000. Furnish all necessary papers and that is it.
3. Get rid of Dom Account.

Here in the US I don't a DOM account in Pound Sterling or Yuan to do business with a company in United Kingdom or in China.

I beg to disagree CBN is just doing the right thing, though it may be difficult to achieve. There should be only one exchange rate ie CBN rate theres nothing like aboki rate its pure sabotage. One important thing CBN needs to work on is make dollars more available to banks and outlaw the use of so called bureau de change, that way the actual demand and supply of dollars is monitored and used to regulate rates.
