I don't understand how this month salary was paid by FG. Some persons in UNIBEN have revyand some have not or is it my bank First bank that is causing the delays.

Yes Na what were u thinking? U think they are worried about the situation? Thier chidren don't school in Nigeria. The situation will likely last till end of year or early next yr unless ASUU shift on major grounds or the government does the needful. The situation is who will blink first FG or ASUU. The government will use all tactics to buy time until ASUUs will is broken. That's the summary of the precarious situation we all are.

Well Amand Love we pray they do the needful and act responsibly. But the reality is that the fight will still continue for some months. If by August 5 when ASUU strike would have elapsed and there’s no serious commitment from the federal government, then Schools may not resume till end of year or next year. Till then the struggle continues and we must brace up

Well it's the sad reality. The govt is looking for all ways to run away from their responsibilities and the unions won't give in either. We somehow have to look for how to survive in this hard times. At the end we hope victory will make up for these times. God will help us all and make a way.

I got info from our group that they paid some universities salaries along with minimum wage arrears. So let’s hope for our pay for this month

A very reliable source from Abuja informed that Salaries will drop soon before the end of this week. The delay is not in connection with the ongoing Strike but availability of Fund.
The source further confirmed that the Govt Agency had a meeting with our Leaders and that they need time for collations and ascertain amount involved in financials and report back to the Govt.

My view, I do not see the warning suspended soon until the Govt do something significant. On behalf of my esteemed Excos I thank you for your endurance and understanding. Aluta Continua Victoria Aserta.

We were supposed to be paid for the month of March. If at all they want to do deductions,
it should be for a few days we didn't come to work. This Strike is gonna be bloody going forward

Well my advise is for no one to expect it this year. So u don't feel too disappointed. For me I will hold my side till first week of next yr. If it come before then it will be a pleasant surprise

Ngige never means anythin that he says. He's a politician and they will tell u anything just for u to leave them alone or to get away from tight situation. Anyways, October 31 deadline is here let's see how far it goes and how far he meant his words.

Well some persons are saying some people will be captured in January but those that have been receiving will continue to receive. The govt know what they are doing. They want to make everyone believe that they have paid hazzard but there are some issues and sometimes have not been captured, making it difficult for the union to go on strike. Because they will say some people have been captured and others will be captured as well. This to me is the game they are using to avoid strike by union. So it depends on the union leaders especially SSANU to fight to get it implemented for all or else the federal government will continue to use delay tactics and other means so we don't get paid fully. My opinion though
