Valkrie: Bros...he signed for the work knowing fully well what it entails...no be matter of get mind be dis but doing the work you are paid to do...if he can't do it then he should have resigned...meanwhile that type of work is always open yearly for new intake and people who want to do it always apply...so what's the fuss about appreciation....simply do your job and collect your money...All job got it's own hazard...military work is no different...
yes he signed up for it but is it everyone that has the heart to do the job bro.Military job isnt a norm or easy job bro military job is so different. When youre seeing death at your front youre telling me it no different from others okay most ofbuna wey dey talk go and sign up.many soldiers arent doing it for the pay.Being a soldier is more than you think.
Valkrie: Appreciate what..? Did he not sign for the job and get paid for it? When Nigerian didn't appreciate him as claimed, why didn't he resign and let another who would do his job without looking for a petty appreciation come onboard...!!
Same mindset as the politicians...the governors would be craving for appreciation for road construction and providing amenities...which is naturally his or her duty to provide...How can we grow with this type mindset...?
You cant compare a soldier and politician two different things bro. you get mind to hold gun face another person wey hold gun bro u get mind?

Photo: AFP Nigerian troops on Tuesday thwarted an attack by Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters in Rann, Borno State, Northeast Nigeria after launching aerial and ground offensives against the insurgents.
Rann, the headquarters of Kala Balge local government, is adjacent Cameroon.
The area has experienced repeated attacks and fierce clashes between Nigerian troops, Boko Haram, and ISWAP.
After a fierce battle, the troops with Air Task Force combat aircraft support were reported to have killed 19 insurgents in five gun trucks.
According to PRNigeria, the insurgents approached Rann around 6 pm in eight gun trucks and several motorbikes in an attempt to ambush the 3 Brigade base.
“During the attack, five gun trucks belonging to the Boko Haram terrorists were destroyed, including the occupants,” the newspaper quoted a source as said.
“Many terrorists were eliminated during the air interdiction and ground attacks executed by troops. At least 19 battered bodies of Boko Haram fighters littered the scene, with the destroyed gun trucks, apart from others in the bush,” a source in the paper.”
Access to Rann is mostly through helicopters and areas outside the town are considered dangerous.
The over a decade-old conflict has killed over 30,000 people and displaced more than 2 million people.
