Maybe the Israelis just wanted to stretch their legs or wanted to see if their cameras were still working. Or perhaps the Chadians had a few hundred thousand dollars to throw around, and had an urge to waste it paying Israelis for detailed aerial mapping, when Nigeria could had freely provided this wink
of course they paid Israel to do it

Is this good news❓ l simply do not know.

Without establishing the number, quality and the amount of money used to procure them. I really can not say it's good news.

If you have a fire in your house and you then use a small car fire extinguisher to attack the fire you are simply waiting your time.

When we talk about changing the tide of battle it's about allocation of resources for cheap best outcome delivery.

For instance, I would rather buy from Ukraine 100 T64 upgraded refurbished tanks than 20 Chinese ones. Obviously the 100 T64 will have far greater impact on the whole battlefield management and delivery.
Jesus!!!!
Guy can't u be grateful for ones
You are always *I'll rather this and that*
What is now wrong if they buy new VT-4.
I'm sure if they had bought refurbished tanks you'll say they sold Nigeria repaired scraps from junkyards...
It's a 154million dollar deal...
The amount of machines dropped yesterday was 17

you say there is no tangible wat!!?
You see what we're saying!!!
Just because Chad busted their Warehouse and killed obviously not up to 100 insurgents you claim Nigeria has nothing tangible
What about the fall of camp Zero
The Rocket Facility busted
The series of operation In 2016/2017
The single Airstrike conducted by NAF Mi17 helo that killed 300 including shekua wife
The Operation in Auno where BHT told villagers they were coming to attack..
The army switched from defense to offensive
The Operation Thunder strike and Green sweep that has been taking out High Ranking BHT commanders
Not to talk of The Deadly RUWAN WUTA 1 and 2 that saw the CH-3 drones in action striking targets almost on a daily bases
You can't compare this single chad operation to any I've listed here..
They did well I love the chadians but over hyping them because of this single operation is uncalled for
None of their operation can be compared to the one I listed her...
So the over hyping should stop..

I made a tactical assessment and raised questions from those observations.

All the questions relate to the specifics of that one engagement at that time.

The use of existing assets and expected outcomes.

In a nutshell, how did 10 rudimentary gun trucks hold down three Battalions of the Nigerian army ❓❓❓ With a IMO opinion projected 1500 troops.
Then we'll say it's 10 but more than

Let me be fair with you. In your accessment just like you've listed the above gains by the Nigerian army, will you say with a straight face that after a decade of COIN, coupled with the expenditures since 2009 till date and the regrettable losses of our brave men and women in the NE that the Nigerian army has really tried?
The amount of money budgeted and expended to fund this war should have brought the bokoharam insurgency to a debilitating end. I have close family and friends that lost their lives to this nonsense going on in the NE. When will it be enough? Truth is the top brass in the ministry of defence are prolonging this war just so they keep cashing out yet there's nothing tangible to show for it. Our weapons cache are not upgraded or updated, we still doing the same things we did since 2009.
The Tchadians have one of the lowest army budgets in africa yet we see time and time again that when they go out to face these vermins they deliver. I have no regrets when i say the Tchadians are doing a good job. They're doing what every sane army in the world ought to do when faced with terror.
One question what has Chad done that we haven't done even more in the listed above that's my question..

Toju won't you ever tire of blaming Obama for the inadequacies of the Nigerian army and airforce? Did Obama also stop us from buying stuff from China, South Africa, India, Russia and Egypt? Or Eastern Europe? Doesn't South Africa manufacture Super Hinds and even the Rooivak? The Tucano you are talking about, are there not equivalents we can get cheaper and sooner elsewhere? The weapons we use now, are most not from Russia and the Soviet Union, so why the sudden love for American weaponry?
And as regards heavy lift helicopters, don't the Russians have the Mil Mi 26 Halo? What stopped us from buying these massive choppers as Algeria long since have? Or what stopped us from buying masses of Mil Mi 8 and 17s? What stopped us from buying platforms from other countries other than the US and massively upgrading the stuff we already have by giving them better avionics, engines, weapons and sensors?

Kindly leave Obama out of this please and find someone else within Nigeria to blame. Your excuse is wack and weak and I am very tired of hearing shit like that.
if we had the chinnoks and cobra I'm sure u won't be complaining..
Aren't we buying russkies weapons(Mi35m)

You read more from Military sourced news.

Have you asked yourself why Air platforms dont support dont support during ISWAP attacks that lasts over 2hours with the boys in the trench? After 2 days the Air platforms will bombard a building as ISWAP logistics command grin.

over 300 ISWAP members came to attack Nganzai LGA, There was a shootout for over 2hours. The Army withdrew after losing close to 20 Soldiers and some taken away. Two days later an Alpha jet claims to have bombarded the logisitcs support house of ISWAP that carried that attack in Nganzai.

The Jets will never come to support during an attack wink But can go and video the bombings of a building showing us three ISWAP members running from bombardment. smiley

We are not Kids bro.

The handwriting is on the wall.
these military sources have proofs
What I'm saying is that This Chad operation can't be compared to the ones I listed above

Very true. I mean see the success achieved by the Tchadians in less than a week after they were hit hard by those bastards and they feed you with video and picture proof.
The Nigerian side on the other hand is used to giving complaints and excuses and yet records losses over and over like a broken record and yet 10 years after with lots of our vibrant, gallant young men&women KIA plus billions of dollars spent on this yahoo war, there's nothing tangible to show for it.
