Buratai truly is preparing for an offensive..
But update is up that BHT fired a mortal at the Super camp where he logdes. He also lead the troops to chase them killing some and capturing them alive..

He said it's just a distraction from the Main operation they're preparing for..

Truly SamuelAnyawu said it..
BHT/ISWAP will pull a coward stunt to attack Buratai position

The terrorist won't move unless they are sure the soldiers are helplessly pined down. If some of the soldiers shoot continuously towards the direction of the first attack, terrorist not seeing them would have the impression that the troops are more than they estimated or might have been reinforced. There is no point in conserving bullets when you are being surrounded.
Militants in the Syria and Iraq who are in supporting the government's fight against ISIS have been the most effective forces in the fight because they employ these terrorist tactics and are always on the offensive.
that's one thing I'm noticing...
Soilders too should fire towards enemies location use the guntrucks as sheild. Not just relying on the Mounted HMG
One of the soilder there I'M sure did something like that he called his fellow comrade to move forward..the soilder welding a berly rifle

I can only laugh at how little things impress you. True armies are building tanks while nigerian army is ordering merely 35 tanks and you are impressed ? Nigeria should be building 35 tanks a day, not ordering 35 tanks !
just take a look at what u just said..
Why can't u think before talking..
How would you compare Nigeria with other advanced military..
Why don't u do dat with other African militaries..
Guy if u don't have any thing meaningful to say...

- Nigeria signed the Tucano contract in 2017 and paid for it in 2018
- You ordered 17 vehicles in total, VT4,SH5 105mm and ST1
- The actual contract for your JF17 was signed years ago
- The Ezugwe isn't an 8x8 IFV with several different variants

The contract has been delayed by 36 months according to Denel.........regardless of when the contact was signed, the actual delivery was only supposed to have commenced from 2019.
no not 17 vehicles sir...
It was 17 delivered first set...

But why use a Hilux when you can use a Casspir? Carries more troops, and in the event something goes wrong then you are protected?

Also we have thousands of Mambas and Casspirs.....more than what we have pickups, so why not use the things we have?
that's exactly where I was heading..
Using what u have...
And in our own case we'll prefer the Hilux

SamuelAnyawu:
Dear Buratai,

Today ISWAP came out in 5 Guntrucks and blocked the Monguno-Maiduguri road for an hour.

I have noticed with dismay that most of the Military onslaught are on the weakened Bokoharam in Southern Borno tho Damboa got some die hards. (Askira,Biu,Chibok,Hawul,KwasaKuyar, etc) There is no village in Southern Borno where there are no villagers residing. Infact most of those villages are guarded by hunters with Dane guns and double barrel.

Here in Northern Borno we have 9 LGA's of which
there 5 LGAs with no civilian as ISWAP are fully in control (Marte, Guzamala, Kukawa, Abadam and Baga) even the four LGA (Gubio, Monguno, Damasak, Nganzai and Magumeri) Even Magumeri is still shaky.

The war should be brought down to Lake Chad which ISWAP controls and is majorly Borno North and some part of Central like Kala Balge and Gamboru.

Thank you Sir. cool
Frontline reporter grin thanks for the update...

The Nigerian Military has said that no civilian was killed during an air strike conducted by Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE at Shokotoko Village in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State contrary to media reports. In a statement signed by Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche, narrated that the operation, which was conducted on the night of 9 and early hours of 10 April, was based on credible intelligence reports, obtained from land forces and other security agencies. He said that the information which was vetted revealed that the target location was occupied solely by Boko Haram Terrorists. He said the attack helicopter that executed the mission was accompanied by an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft to ensure proper targeting for avoidance of collateral damage. Enenche disclosed that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) pilots, by training and in line with extant Rules of Engagement (ROEs) for the operation, do not attack any location if it is observed that non-combatants, especially women and children, are present. He said rather the pilots would return to Base with their munitions unexpended. He said that investigations were being carried out on the media report to allay public concerns hence, subsequent actions will be taken in line with extant regulations and best practices.

Dude wake up and smell the coffee.

For the purposes of Nigerian armed forces US weapons are mostly over priced and take ages to be delivered.

The Mil Mi-28 night hunter is arguable better than the cobra but its about half the price as well.

The MI17 Will do everything in general we need a Chinok to do but at half the price and far less operating cost, in addition its a much more resilient and rugged aircraft.

Finally you will not have to wait for yeas to get them.
oga we don get the MI17 and MI35M are u Happy now
