Sincerely Chadians Soldiers got so much morale. I have met some of them in Monguno and Naganzai. Lemme me don't praise them much in order not to look patriotic.

The Last time ISWAP came to Monguno in January around 5pm dancing at our popular round about screaming that the Army should Come out. Sincerely if it was last year when the Chadians were around ISWAP will not come out so openly in that manner.

Tho the Chadians too are quite careless from my little observation. Here in Monguno you will see a Chadian Land cruiser with a mounted gun and no Gunner controlling it, while the driver drives around. I have never see a Nigeria Hilux mounted with an AA With no Nigerian Soldier behind

Pic 3 has set them back for atleast 2 years, now it's Nigeria's armed forces imperative to sustain this and wipe them out, yeah,, this is what happens when you got the Chadians onboard

You are paying for all that weaponry I hope? Oil price is crashing and the global economy will likely suffer a recession. Nigeria is already broke and spends too much servicing its debts. Where will the money to buy all these future weapons come from please?
By the way, have you heard of something called urgent need? When you meet a farmer dying of starvation, do you give him a bag of eba and sugar to use in drinking garri, or do you give him a bucket of seeds and farming implements and tell him to plant, grow his farm and eat to his fill when his plants mature in 3 to 4 months?
The strategic plan sounds nice, but it should be flexible to take account of and accommodate present and future needs.

I had read a report on this but can't be bothered trying to find it.

But l am not the only one with that view of costing of $600 million.

Do you think this procurement is " Best Value " and the most effective use of our very scarce resources.

ARMED FORCES OF NIGERIA RAMPS UP ATTACKS ON BOKO HARAM LOCATIONS, TAKES OUT SEVERAL TERRORISTS IN AIR STRIKES AT PARISU IN BORNO STATE

1. In furtherance of the objective of restoring peace and security in the North East of the Country, the Armed Forces of Nigeria, through the Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE, has ramped up attacks against terrorists’ locations in Borno State. The latest of these attacks was executed at Parisu, a Boko Haram Terrorists’ hideout, within the Sambisa Forest on 31 March 2020, after series of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions revealed a resurgence of activities within the settlement.

2. Fighter jets dispatched by the Air Task Force to attack the hideout took turns in engaging the location, resulting in the destruction of some of the structures as well as the killing of several terrorists. Other fighters, who attempted to reposition themselves in order to engage the attack aircraft, were taken out in follow-on strikes at their hiding places under shrubbery.

3. The Armed Forces of Nigeria, working in synergy with counterpart security agencies and stakeholders, will sustain the tempo of offensive action against all elements inimical to the peace and security of our beloved Nation.

Doesn't make sense. The Chadians are some of the fiercest and experienced warriors in Africa. I don't think they are stupid enough to have a base so near an ISWAP camp without pulverizing it.

Iswap release pictures of their missionary tours around the lake Chad area. They are so comfortable that they hold lectures, live in numbers and not in hiding. They are also preaching to non muslims and converting them to Islam. I assume that comes with incentives.

That's one of the best suggestions I've ever heard. The North East is rather large though and I don't think we have the numbers to do that. But I'm optimistic it can be done with the help of drones.
