It is an algorithm that works randomly. My first GRE I had 3 Qs and in my 2nd, I had 3 Vs.

I am an engineering grad.
Good day Mr scholastica. Thank you for the great job you are doing. I noticed a lot of information on engineering and other courses. I will really appreciate it if i could get information on schools in the USA and Canada on masters and PhD in the medical line. Am working on writing the GRE in February. Thank you.

TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Toks07: 1:04pm On Sep 26, 2017
Sossski:
When coming to study in Australia, please if you plan to work and study, try to get some skills before coming. When I say some skills, I mean skills like knowing how to drive, how to barb, hairdressing skill. U can easily get a job if you have worked at supermarkets or if you have logistic, marketing and public relation skills. These skills can get you a job within 5days. Generally, Australians are good and friendly people. Food is cheap, but rent is affordable if you can get a friend to share with. But it is somewhat costly if you depend on work to pay your tuition and rent. But, you will survive it if you are hulk hogan kind of person. People do that here. As per school, you ll be glad you come if you eventually get the visa. Before I got here. In my case, I waited for my visa for about 4months and I got it when I was expected to resume in two days time. I had to travel immediately, with air ticket cost of about 800k because I bought it the same day I got the visa and I had to travel the following day. I couldn't take my local food, but I found lovely places I could get my Amala and semo here in Australia. Again, I left with small dollar, I didn't know anyone here, but through the help of Nigerian students association, I got a place the same day I got there for 130 dollar for a week before moving to my rented apartment. Concerning learning here, I wish I had studied in Australia since I was born. Several development and training programmes organised to integrate student into the academic world. But as Nigerians, you will cope since they speak clear English. Let me add that I got 9 different scholarships (2 in Australia). I didn't have a first class but I made good grades and I applied for them directly to my school. When I was leaving home, I had to borrow a lot to pay for medical, visa fee, insurance and even air ticket, just to fulfil my dream. Please don't allow anything to stop you. You can search for scholarship if you intend to enroll for a PhD course, regardless of the course or area of research study. Mine was in Philosophy. You have 95percent chance to learn all you need to succeed in life in Oz. Where I work here in Nigeria before travelling, my annual salary was 400k, but here while studying my monthly stipend gives me almost twice my annual salary in a month. So ask me: Why won't I study? Please do the best you can and pursue your dream. And let me say this: pray, work and don't forge your documents. Say the truth in your visa application---truthfulness is what has worked for me and for others that I have met here in Australia....I'd feel I owe you guys my testimony and advice.
Congratulations
Pls what exams did you write before applying for phd scholarship .

Really, but i have a different experience....

Maybe my baby's wee in the 1st month was out of proportion cos i abandoned the few packs left of the swaddlers cos of combination of looking like he stuffed eggplant down there in no time & the new born size became too small after week 2 & a half... By week 3, we moved to size one,...

By week 5, we moved to size 2 & abandoned the rest at around 2months... He is 4mths now & he's on size 3 ...

I bought him the snug & dry in naija sef, though it was purchased in oke arin & sent to me in abuja, (the ones i paid excess luggage for was bad investment..) & i still wonder what kind of "chemical" locks in Boy pee like that!, It must be some voodoo ish!! cheesy
grin grin

Gud afternoon my sabi mothers,am here again o.my six weeks old formula fed baby has been poopin more dan usual, his poop are watery nd can go like 5times a day.apart from d poop he is doing just fine, should I be worried or its normal considering d fact dat his poopin pattern was nt like dat b4.secondly I brout his formula from america and now I ve exhusted all I brout am tinking of which one to switch to.he has been taking similac soy isomil,I can't find
it anywher in nigeria, pls advice me on which formula to try please mama advice me I beg u
If you baby is okay, just keep an eye on the poop might just be something you ate, if you are both BF and formula feeding. Also check your hygiene and how you sterilise baby's bottle. To change formula you have to try a particular formula to see how your baby likes it. You can get a small can of SMA gold and see if he likes it. Also, Nan is there too. These formula are imported, cost effective and readily available. You can also try similac advance, cow and gate also available in nigeria in big supermarkets.

Yes, straight.. Swaddlers isn't as absorbent as snug & dry!! Used both, I can testify..
you can start size 2 now, you can get 1 or 2 cartons depending on how frequent you change him, it still boils down to calculating how many times you change him.
My DD is on the second carton of size 2. She used just 1 size one.
As rightly said huggies is a bit bigger than pampers. I've used both and I prefer pampers swaddler, to me it absorb more and keep the poo and wee in more. Although a bit pricey than huggies comparing count to price.

@ gaggle I also receive mail of $750 from the anaesthetic group after paying the $750 for the anaesthesia to the hospital although I use HNMC.I just sorted it out.
Call the number on the mail and tell them you've paid your fee they will ask you for the your acct number and it is also on the mail. You can also ask them to mail you your Zero balance. The hospital send your money to the anaesthetic group so it is possible they've not send it to them before they mail you. It is no issue once you have your the receipt for the money paid.

Congratulations @olokings @gaggle @shawlar @ bestsnews.

To God be the glory, I had my gorgeous, oyinbo princess on 12th of sept at houston northwest medical centre via Cs. Had a wonderful experience.
My Dr was Dr ikeda Marcos. He is young and very friendly and very easy to talk to.
I enjoyed all the freebies and their pain control was good.
They have a mother and baby package called miracle moment.

Hospital bill
Vaginal delivery 2 day - 2,000
Cs. 3 day - 3,500 ( was discharge on day 2 so I paid 3,000)
Anaesthesia - 750
The package includes blood work for mother and child during delivery and after.
Dr's fee - 2,000 for vaginal delivery
- 3,000 for cs
Dr fee include post natal care.
He accepts lab test from nigeria and does the one not included.
Baby's 1st paediatric appointment - $75
2nd appt and blood work -$55
Baby's document are ready just waiting for nija visa.
This na my journey. I give God all the glory that I come, I saw and I conquer.

@customise87, that's God's favour which am presently enjoying here in houston. It is not all relative's that are mean, it is just that some cannot tolerate others especially if they feel they are doing better then them. Bottom line jealousy. Am staying with my sister and her family, whom I saw last 15 years ago and it has been Wonderful. Her husband takes me to all my appointments and at times insisted on paying for them. They consider my baby their own, at times he goes shopping to prepare me special delicacy like rice and snail stew. They threw a surprise baby shower for me. My husband and daughter were also around for a while before going back to nija and everyone had a great time. since delivering my baby my sister bath for her. I can't say tell they've done but I am grateful to God for giving such a wonderful family, I pray God bless them and lift them to greater heights. May their children always find favour wherever they go. It just depend on how close you are to your family. My sister and I are very open to each other.

@firsty. ... u re in a better position to explain the above. ....so I don't give incomplete info
It is called biophysical profile,A fetal biophysical profile is a prenatal test used to check on a baby's well-being. It is usually done after 32 week. It is done using an ultrasound and baby is monitored, the fetal heart rate, the breathing movement, body movement, body tone and amniotic fluid are checked and given a score. If the score is low, decision has to be made either to repeat the test, or monitor the baby using other test or to deliver the baby ASAP.

@first. Virginal birth after prev. CS for 1st child. thats what madam asked for but dey bluntly insisted on CS., saying dey can't risk doing that from their own experience.

the infection story till now is still amazing to me, well read about it that could be as a result of mother eating some wrong fruit. could also be as a result of streptococci abi na wetin dem call am. see medicine confuses me most times. our argument even from her aunt who is a nurse was that this antibiotics could be administered orally to baby at home and monitored. but see this guys are just after the money they never stopped mentioning Medicaid which I also didn't stop saying no to. its a tough experience in so short a time.
So sorry about the extra cost. Birthing in US is expensive. As rightly said above you have to negotiate and also ask for discount, if you did not ask it will not be granted, so ask. For a neonate that has infection that child will be treated with iv drugs not oral, even in a standard hospital in nigeria that is what you will get. No sane pediatrician will treat a new born with infection with oral antibiotics.

Hi everyone,

I'm planning on leaving in a few days (POE Houston, God willing) but i won't be carrying more than 6K $ in cash.
I have more than twice as much on my saving account and will take the statements with me.
I'll be using Oakbend and the total bill will be between 8 and 10 K$.
Do you think that's enough to calm those CBP officers ?
Thanks
What you need is God's favour and prayers for POE. 6K is enough, just tell them you have enough in your account and show them your master card. We went with 4k and God grant us favour. It is well and you will share your testimony too.
Hei people, coming to you life and direct from Houston, after a gruelling long journey and stop and check process at POE, but Oluwa was involved. So here goes my experience at POE.

I flew BA, journey be looooooong, @firsttymum be prepared. I'd requested the wheel chair service so they picked us up (me and my mum) and wheeled us straight through to a CBP (what does that mean anyway?)

The CBP of was a nice enough man, at least he said hello with a smile and asked how I was until he saw my bulging stomach, and then his countenance changed. It was the usual questions of what are you here for, what do you do, how much do you have, bla bla bla.... Then he clears my mum and sends me off for secondary inspection, where they asked the same questions (rolling my eyes). Then the CBP goes 'you filled on your form that you where going to NewYork, why are you here? And I said I'm here cos my priorities changed as soon as I realised I was pregnant, and btw I had notified the embassy before they issued the visa that although I had applied to go an vacation, plans had changed since I got pregnant. (I'd used Dropbox). I said all of this in one breath without letting the guy get a word in, I even had a sharp pain in my back when I was done talking. Dude just said okay and gave me my passport back and said I could go.
Meanwhile my poor mama was praying outside, almost wetting her pants cos I'd been in there for over an hour, and she was scared they were about to send me back, but as I said Oluwa was involved and I was confident that they had nothing on me. They didn't even ask for any documents.
They then sent us to some other place cos we had over 10k and then to Agric where another CBP first of all threatened to break our padlocks with some big assed pliers that looked more like a weapon, until I jumped up from the wheel chair screaming at her to stop. We used money to buy the things na. I got the keys out and opened them, she ransacked and scattered and then I think felt a little guilty cos she packed it all back and zipped it up herself and then they let us go.

Congratulations. May God continue to direct our ways in this journey. Have a good rest.
