Paul John: People here need enlightenment. You guys should do the simple maths, if one day Nigeria also re-decimalize s her currency, by cancelling two zeros(0). Then N83= N0.083, which is the same as 0.83kobo.
Then present 1GHc=0.83kobo, not up to a Naira.
. If we need orientation, then no amount of miraculous orientation can liberate u from ur ignorance and i bet with u tb joshua wont dare it cos it will be an embarrassment and blemish on all d miracle records he has been keeping. We are talkin about monetary value, a nit-wit is talkin about decimal and figure.

Paul John: What Ghana did is called re-decimalization of their currency by cancelling 2-3 zeros(0) from it. That doesn't change the value of the currency. Last time I went to Ghana, I understood it better. The 1 Ghana cedi you're comparing with N83 has totally different value. What you can buy with that 1 Ghana cedi is not close to what you can buy withN83. If Nigeria also re-decimalize her currency, does that changes the value? It's not
man u make sense jare. Continue publicising knowledge to nullify the handiwork of those publicizing ignorance

If it was goin to be a state visit, our government would have been informed prior to the visitation. As at the time he died till naw, i haven't heard nigerian government talking about his proposed visit to nigeria. The man already had an ailment he was battling wit. I supposed he was coming for a health related issue perhaps to see prophet TB Joshua. If he died in nigeria, nothing would happen, they will just come to carry his corpse.

Business › Re: FG To Ban Foreign Goods That Have Local Substitutes by Tolexander: 2:05pm On Jul 18, 2012
Seun: This is bad Economics. Most foreign goods and services have local substitutes:
- European Premier League (Nigerian Premier League)
- Calculators (Locally printed 4 figure tables)
- Guns used by the police and Army (locally made bows and arrows, cutlass)
- Wheat Flour (Garri & Cassava Flour)
- Peak/Dano Milk (Cowbell & Jago Powders)
- Aeroplanes (locally-made Canoes and Innoson Bus)
- Laptops by Apple, HP, Dell (expensive locally assembled laptops with inferior specs).
- Facebook (Nairaland)
- Google (Nairaland Search)

If you were actually to ban all foreign goods with local substitutes, you'd be banning just about everything Nigerians need and love. Nigerians will be miserable. It's madness. It's not even politically feasible. If the government pursues such a policy, the end result is that the government will end up banning goods that are produced locally by the friends of the people in government. Political donors, basically. This short-sighted policy is a recipe for institutionalizing crony capitalism.
coca cola, pepsi(omi ogi, palm wine). Guiness, hieneken(otapiapia, burukutu). Golf ball(lemon). Hollywood(nollywood) al queda(boko haram) best thing to do, at least it will promote our goods n services

The president is very right with that statement he made. We all know the real nigerian tradition is corruption, and this is the function carried out by the PDP. And if pdp is not practising this tradition, who else is gonna do it. If the tradition of a country is left undone, that is enough to collapse the nation

*in United States a good number of developed cities are non_state capital eg Lose Angelese, Chicago, las Vegas, Hollywood, Detriots,Houstin, Miami, San Fransisco*
Apart from Hollywood, d other names r state capitals na. Hollywood is not even commercialised or industrialised sef, just a residential suburb. Just like the second poster wrote; he should go back to school.

We were all here when Gov Mimiko appointed his own brother as the VC of the State University in Ondo State. If we must condemn this, we must condemn the other one. Thank you

Politics › Re: How Did Lagos Cope Before The Construction Of Third Mainland Bridge by Tolexander: 6:47am On Jul 12, 2012
gbadexy: I just drove through lagos/ ikorodu road now and the whole road was congested.
I started wondering how people cope before the construction of the third mainland bridge.
Has the population of lagos multiplied more than four times since 1990?
Given the fact that the closure of the bridge is partial and we still have this traffic, I wonder if the true population of lagos state is what was given during the last census.
Does kano state have as many cars, bridge and road network as lagos? Just asking, I haven't been there and how did commuters cope before the construction of third mainland bridge.
you dont have to compare lagos population to kano's population in situation like this. Have you forgotten kano has a relatively larger land mass, and lesser civilizations mostly in terms of automobiles.
