why is northern state always so backward in every good things in this country, imagine the last five all northerners, even if bombing was included as a sport niger delta will still remain superior, small but mighty God bless N/D
common! They are born to rule |
how am i a tribalist for asking simple and direct question huh?
|
afam4eva: If Imo had converted some of their silver and bronze medals to gold, they would have been in the top 5. I also want to commend Ebonyi. They have done well coming second considering the fact that they're often looked down on by other SE states. Imagine them beating Anambra, Engugu and Abia.and if others converted theirs, imo may also still be competing at the middle of the table. UNWARRANTED ASSUMPTION |
how come there is no eastern or northern states from 1-8 only south west and south south.... can someone post the full list please
You are a tribalist! All the south east states tried. At least, winner a medal is not an easy task let alone winning medals. Moreover, olympic is not to win but to participate. Here is the southeast on the medals table: 11. Imo gold 7, silver 14, bronze 18 20. Ebonyi gold 3, silver 2, bronze 3 24. Abia gold 1, silver 6, bronze 13 25. Enugu gold 1, silver 5, bronze 8 30. Anambra gold 0, silver 2, bronze 3 |

Moreover i think every church has its rule and regulation and believe there shouldn't be any embarassment in that since that is there culture |
afam4eva: The question i keep asking myself is: What's so special about Delta state that they beat all the states hands down.the ferrocity of a lion is nt often obvious in its ground state but when in action. |

SECURITY agents were battling all yesterday to find the unknown gunmen who kidnapped Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala’s mother. Prof. Kamene Okonjo, 82, was kidnapped by eight gunmen who stormed the Ogbe-Ofu palace of the traditional ruler of Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State in two cars shortly before 2pm. The octogenarian Professor of Medicine is the wife of the traditional ruler of Ogwashi-Uku, Prof Chukwuka Aninshi Okonjo, who was not in town at the time of the incident. Delta State police spokesman Charles Muka said: “Yes, we have got the information on the kidnap. We also have information that will lead to the arrest of the hoodlums.” The minister confirmed the kidnapping of her mother. A statement last night by her Special Adviser Mr. Paul Nwabuikwu, entitled: “Abduction of Prof. (Mrs) Okonjo” said: “Earlier today, Professor (Mrs) Kamene Okonjo, wife of Professor Chukuka Okonjo, the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku and mother of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, was abducted from her home in Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State. “At this point, it is difficult to say whether those behind this action are the same people who have made threats against the Coordinating Minister in the recent past or other elements with hostile motives. “No possibility can be ruled out at this point. “This is obviously a very difficult time for the entire Okonjo family. But the family is hopeful of a positive outcome as it fervently prays for the quick and safe return of the matriarch.” The police said it had arrested a man who allegedly left the compound a few minutes before the incident took place. The man was said to have informed the housemaid that he was in the palace to take the queen mother somewhere in the town. It was gathered that the kidnappers, numbering about 10, were lurking around the palace, until the woman and her maid came down to serve workers at the gate soft drinks. http://thenationonlineng.net/new/news/okonjo-iwealas-mums-kidnap-suspect-arrested/ |

Gee001: We call ours "mìniwirï okàzï", and dat's okazi soup prepared with sea foods like d perewinkle, prawn/crayfish, fish, et'al. alongside roasted meat. Eaten with either garri or pounded yam.guess that is a south south? |
floriana: Ngozi is from a well read family. No wonder she's a PhD holder too. She nearly got the world bank job last year if not for Obama.how does this affect the release of okonjo iweala's mother? |

In my primary school days, it used to be french and computer. I dont know why, i just always discoverved myself scoring zero in test and classwork but sometimes scoring above 50. I guess my problem with the subjects is that french is not my mother's language and besides, i only used to hear it from my french teacher then. While the problem with computer is we jst only had a computer desktop availble for over 600 people in my primary school in the mid 90s. But in secondary school, it was further mathematics, found it tough mehn. Just like me, pretty sure many pupils always found some subjects tough and i wouldn't mind hearing you. |
in every part of the world, there is always a food that is popular with the people which may be as a result of the abundance of the ingredient used in preparing the food e.g fish in the riverine areas or as a result of the tradition/culture attached to it e.g new yam festival in many towns in the south west. My town is Iresi, boluwaduro lg in osun state, the food popular among my people is 'iyan' (pounded yam) and it is prepared by steaming yam before naw pounding in a mortar with pestle. It is often served with egusi or vegetable. I will like to hear out ur contributions |
