1. During the 1993 election season, Atiku was selected by one of the most liberal and respected Northerners, Shehu Musa Yar'adua to be the running mate of MKO Abiola. Despite his customs background, Atiku had found favour in a Military mans heart. This is very rare! 2. Considering the fact that Atiku played no role in the Nigerian civil war, he is thus, outside the ambit of the so called 'owners of Nigeria'. For many historians, The hatred for Atiku stems from the fact that a customs boy is dining with the military big boys. 3. Atiku is a very brilliant man. While he might not be "book smart" like Dr. osinbajo, he is business smart. Something which many of our presidents lacked. Including Obasanjo. Hence, the reason why he did a better Job heading the economic team between 1999 and 2006! 4. Atiku knows how to source talent. This he wont be appointing Audu Ogbeh and co into positions. He sourced the likes of El-rufai and many others who did an amazing Job between 2000-2006. If you look at his campaign team you'd see his desire for new but tested hands. 5. Of all the candidates. Atiku is still the only one with a standard policy document which he has carried with him from PDP to APC and back to PDP. In essence the man has a plan which he wants to implement and doesn't care which party he does it under. He just needs a shot. for those who have not read his policy document, here it is Atiku.org/policydocument 6. The number of times Atiku has battled demons and come out tops, is amazing. The sheer strength of character to achieve his goal. Lets take a little detour...... 6a. Atiku first dabbled into politics in 1990 (running for governor) He had made money as a customs officer by partnering with our Italian Nigerian brother, Volpi, and they made a fortune off Intels. he cant be blamed for being smart like an Igbo man by taking advantage of such situation. 6b. He was to run for the presidency in 1992 with the support of late Yar'adua, but STEPPED down for MKO Abiola.. He ran again for governor in 1998 and won, but was asked instead to be Vice President. 6c. During the Abacha era, Atiku was hounded and stripped of his board position at INTEL as part of a political witch hunt. He was attacked in 1995 and thus fled Nigeria. 6d. The biggest demons which he fought, that made me love him even more, was in 2005/2006 when Obasanjo wanted to extend his presidential bid to a third term. Atiku was the biggest problem to Baba's third term bid. Even to his own detriment as we have all seen play out. Note the gravity of this. Fighting your boss because they are trying to make themselves live president after saying they wont. Osinbajo doesn't have the balls or the will to fight Buhari if it ever came up. 7. Thus, my seventh point. Atiku understand fairness and equity. If he didn't, he would have allowed obasanjo a 3rd term. After all, he would still be vice president. But he knew it would be unfair. It would be unjust and so he fought his boss. 8. Atiku has the right international presence. He can easily interact with the wider world and wouldn't be as timid as Johnathan or even Buhari. He is also very articulate (Atikulate) lol. So i wont be struggling to hear what he says. 9. He is not media shy. And thus, wont be clamping down on the media because he is scared to face them (tag your MCM who hasn't held a media conference). If anything, he has faced the media the most. He has battled them. 10. He is a detribalised Nigeria. Whatever that means. He sure is better than Buhari in this department. For the record, nobody has to come and lie to us that He likes Igbo people or Yoruba people. It is evident. He married a Yoruba woman Titi and an Igbo woman Jenifer. 11.If there is one candidate who has been hell bent on restructuring, it is Atiku, which did not start today but since 1995 he believe that Nigeria need to be restructured for all regions to feel accepted and accept in one Nigeria philosophy. 12. Atiku remains the only candidate who has a business that is open to the public view. The only candidate who's school has helped train future leaders. I mean, his university is top quality for Nigerian standards. How many of your MCMs have a university which they run?? 13 .Atiku is most likely to obey the rule of law. Unlike Obasanjo and Buhari, he doesn't have the military mind of working without the court. And as a beneficiary of such system, i doubt he would treat it the way Buhari is treating the court. 14. On the health sector What do i even say. He has signed a deal recently to build a hospital in Nigeria. However, it is better than Buhari's "no official will travel abroad for treatment". But he is the first president in the world to spend more months away from his country on medical reasons. 15.No Politician in Nigeria have being scrutinized than Atiku, he is always seen as corrupt because of his wealth and the respect he command across the country but nobody have come up with any corruption case against him. He is the only politician in opposition party that still hv loyalty within Buhari cabinet. There will surely be divided interest in Buhari cabinet if Atiku clinch the PDP ticket like one of APC minister recently told Buhari openly that she will work for Atiku if he declares interest to contest for presidency. Hate him or like him, Atiku knows how to treat his subjects that always make them loyal to him. 16.Atiku is the only Northern Fulani Nigerian that understand and recognize the ability and the nature of Igbo man! He has igbos on top of most of his establishments and that is why he is one of the most influential and wealthy Nigerian! He believes igbos are indispensable in wealth creation and have shown that in running his business successfully. 17.Comparing Atiku and Buhari is like comparing light and darkness! Atiku have created jobs and wealth for Nigerians even without being the president, Buhari never had any history of creating jobs outside power except from managing his cows in Daura he doesn't have any other achievement outside government! © |
Nigerians are indeed a bunch of stiff-necked elements that needs iron hand to get it right. Just see how an elderly man is misbehaving before the camera. |
I swear down Saraki sabi Chess pass Kasparov he is the real political grandmaster |
This is the truth! |
“The Federal Government appointed over 200 persons into juicy offices without allotting any slot to me or Yakubu Dogara, the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Everything went to Katsina, Lagos. If not for the love I have for Nigeria, we would have scattered everything. - Dr Olubukola Saraki You just have to give it to Saraki here for his boldness here. Mr integrity my foot. Buhari is pure scam |
With no political structure, no strong followership except online, no solid political party and combatant PR experts, no street credibility politically but all noise and sweet talks.........Nigeria political terrain is for ballers so sorry but the truth must be revealed |

Ugly and ill-scripted news, I don't even understand why people think APC is a threat to Saraki as a person. Why would a Saraki hurriedly resign from APC when from all intents and purpose, he is in charge of his own I can bet it that he is already on another smart move that will jolt APC and Buhari ,.,..,., |
From the look of things, there may just be 10 APC SINators left in the Senate and I see Buhari receiving it very hot as from Sept. 25 the moment the Senate resumes plenary session, he has lost his respects with many of the Senators......I don't see Buhari contesting next year elections because the pressure will be too hit for him to handle. |
NgeneUkwenu:This old man, this old man, you no go siddon for one place why not wait for Saraki's next move before disturbing every cyberspace with your prattling....... |
braine: he is even laying claim to be happy when we all know be meant the opposite ![]() |

Fake Viral News about Buhari’s ICC Secret “Integrity” Dossier By Farooq A. Kperogi, Ph.D. Twitter: @farooqkperogi There is a viral message making the rounds in Nigerian social media circles about an alleged secret document from the International Criminal Court at the Hague, which shows that, “A top secret background check on global leaders, past and present,” found President Muhammadu Buhari to be “the only leader rated XXX1 on integrity, the highest rating globally.” Please don’t laugh. The message adds: “That's why he is the only world leader on the ICC floor to address them." The message emanated from Abdulmumin Jibrin, a member of the House of Representatives from Kano, who, I understand, granted an interview to Channels TV. One version of the message quoted Jibrin as saying, "Buhari showed me a document he brought back from ICC, Hague.” Another version quoted him as saying he asked “a top member of the ICC on why PMB was invited to the ICC” and that the top ICC member told Jibrin it was because “a top secret background check on global leaders” found Buhari to be the most highly rated. This is one the dumbest lies I’ve heard in a long while. I would never have humored it with a rebuttal in my column if many otherwise intelligent people didn’t believe it— and even help spread it. The first indication that this is an unintelligent fabrication comes from the fact that secretly rating the “integrity” of world leaders (whatever in the world that means) is not part of the mandate of the International Criminal Court. According to the UN Chronicle, “The core mandate of the ICC is to act as a court of last resort with the capacity to prosecute individuals for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes when national jurisdictions for any reason are unable or unwilling to do so.” (Ironically, the coldblooded, extra-judicial mass murder of Shias and Biafra agitators by Buhari’s government makes Buhari a candidate for the ICC after his tenure.) At no point in the Court’s history has it ever undertaken a rating of the “integrity” of word leaders, whether openly or secretly. What purpose would such a rating serve, anyway? It doesn’t take a lot of intelligence to know that this is a prevarication. Now, if the document that contains the “rating” of world leaders’ “integrity” is "top secret," why was Buhari allegedly given a copy of it? And why did he share it with Jibrin? Doesn't it betray a lack of integrity to share with Jibrin “a top secret document” that Buhari himself wasn't supposed to see? Even if we take the second version of the story, that is, that it was an ICC official who confided in Jibrin that Buhari was invited to ICC because he was the best-rated world leader in “integrity,” we are still left to wonder why an ICC official would share with a Nigerian politician contents of a document that is “top secret.” Perhaps the deadest giveaway that Jibrin is an inane fabricator is that he shared the contents of this “top secret document” with Nigerians on Nigerian national television. If it were truly a top-secret document, as he wants Nigerians to believe, disclosing its content on national television and causing it to be circulated widely on social media would be a criminal betrayal of the ICC official’s confidences. It should cause the “top ICC official” to lose his job. The truth is that, for its 20th anniversary celebration of the Rome Statute, the ICC invited many presidents and heads of state. All invited presidents, except Buhari, sent their foreign ministers or other representatives. “The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as well as other high-level representatives of States, including representatives of national Senates and Parliaments, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Justice, international and regional organisations, civil society and academia will gather for two days to reflect on the enduring value of the Rome Statute to humanity,” a statement on ICC’s website reads. Many Nigerians were actually embarrassed by this and took to Twitter to express this. Our president chose to personally show up at an inconsequential international event where other presidents sent representatives. It’s particularly embarrassing because the ICC has drawn the ire of many Africans for its disproportionate trial and conviction of Africans even though there are war criminals from all over the world. No one knows why Buhari personally attended the ICC event instead of sending his foreign affairs minister, as other presidents did, but a Reuters news report from a year ago said Buhari often used foreign travels as a cover to meet with his UK doctors. This “top-secret” rating lie, if you think deeply about it, is actually a strategic, if unintelligent, lie to deflect attention from the embarrassment of Buhari being the only invited president who personally attended this insignificant international event. A recent Oxford University study has found that governments are the biggest purveyors of fake news in the world. This is a good example of state-sponsored fake news. This isn’t the first time Abdulmumin Jibrin has been used to peddle fake news on behalf of Buhari. He was one of the people who shared the hilariously error-ridden fake pro-Buhari Trump quote that Buhari’s social media aide by the name of Lauretta Onochie fabricated: "I stand with you the number one African president. I support you my fellow president. Your integrity is second to none. I am at your back in spirit, physical and in faith. Go on with your anti corruption fight against crooks in your country. I support you President Muhammadu Buhari. God is also with you." As I wrote in my May 13, 2018 grammar column titled, “Nigerian and American English Clash in Fake Pro-Buhari Trump Quotes,” “The quote is so staggeringly comical in its fakeness it provoked a burst of deep, loud, hearty laughter in me when I first read it. First, the cadence of the sentence is unmistakably Nigerian. So is the syntax. But the lexis was the giveaway. ‘I am at your back’ is a calque formation (as linguists call direct, unidiomatic translation from one language to another) from almost all Nigerian languages I am familiar with. It means, ‘I support you.’” I called Jibrin’s attention on Twitter, where we follow each other, to the fakeness of the quote he shared. Three months later, he is the conduit for another fake story. Apparently, the man traffics in mendacity and fabrications. But why are Buhari apologists obsessed with convincing people that Buhari has “integrity” even when overwhelming evidence points to the contrary? Plus, it’s frankly getting tiring. What Nigeria needs in a leader, at the very minimum, are competence, empathy, foresight, cosmopolitanism, broadmindedness, people skills, managerial acumen, and transaction-orientation, all of which Buhari sorely lacks and can’t ever have again. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10156951514637841&id=595332840 |
buhariguy:Walahi your own Zone-B has assumed high grade iberiberism who do you guys this strong thing sef? |
Too late to cry now, APC is gone and would soon be forgotten by all.....the only reason why APC is still breathing is because of Buhari. After 2019 elections, APC will be history! |
Fantastic gesture |
Tinubu is about to have his fingers burnt.......I can only laugh in advance ![]() |
Herdsmen:Always on point comrade I like that but TylerDurden raised some valid points there on a likely destruction of Tinubu's hegemony in Lagos Politics, why? Almost all his political detractors are being handed financial muscle politically by Buhari and if you check these ones being empowered, they are more on the Fashola side than Tinubu's.......Tinubu is biting more than he can chew in Lagos and even Fouad Oki, the other parallel APC Chairman in Lagos is wielding some powers in the Grassroot as I speak and there is every likelihood Ambode will not be returned to power in 2019.....APC is already on self destruct and let's just watch as events unfold itself on them. Thank God Buhari will be no more in 2019 and so will be Tinubu |
|
iskuburi407:You believed this? |
Peacefullove:I must confess you are a god, you really dealt well with the debates at hand. You are a god, I am a fan. |
Perfect list especially that original one Tinubu. |
I had long sensed it that Buhari will be in for a shocker in 2019 I am just praying for that mumu INEC chairman to rig that elections and watch what will befall his life and Buhari within seconds.......useless poverty spreading and blood letting government of losers! |
Bloody scammer Minister of Darkness |
perfectedmee:Are you sure it's only 42 Senators I thought Lawan said they are the majority numbering 52 ![]() |
Saraki may be forced to do them shege (Buhari and APC combined now) seems this desperation from APC to nail him and kill him off is becoming irritating by the day..........oya Saraki gbera......... |
Kingosytex:Wait until after the results of the court on the appeal....... you will know proper whether Eleka truly won or not .......you wonder why INEC is jittery to release the documents for verifications for the tribunal to PDP's Eleka? You think it's over? |
TEYA:According to the book, "Mafia Manager", Revenge is a meal best served cold, no APC Governors will give the impression of defecting now but at the nick of time the shocker will start surfacing as a matter of fact, many of them will not defect physically but will deliver their states for PDP, it happened in 2015 and it will be repeated more in 2019. You can bookmark this. Buhari is finished |
Still laughing hard at Buharists and APC loyalists, 2015 is not 2019, I repeat, 2015 is not 2019......enough said ![]() |
ScienceWatch:Trying so hard to digress from a debate you are supposed to defend with Biblical proof right? just accept the fact that trinity is not Biblical as widely claimed. |
temblor1:That guy always feels frustrated anytime anyone school him in his own thread he must huff and puff like a frustrated bus conductor and go ballistic.......he gets easily e-pugnacious on simple matters |
