I wonder why that VO behaves that way. A friend that went for her interview last week at Abuja said he was just dishing out the Blue denial slip like souvenirs. He only considers applicants with good travel history, or full funding. Its really not fair tbh.

The lady in front of me started walking away (literarily walking into the emergency exit) when she saw she'd be passed to the white guy. He still drills fully funded and people with good travel history and you might've to spend a longer time on administrative processing if you interview with him.

I didn't put any call through. I sent an heartfelt message explaining my case on Sunday. I also supported my story with the necessary documents. I was admitted for Fall 2020 but deferred to this fall, so my case is kinda different.

EA just got approved. Abuja... Applied on 15/16th of July.

If you believe you can, kindly push for it. You can still meet up with this fall.

Congratulations on your ER approval. Please, I'm trying to check if this approval thing is based on resumption date or the time of application. Is 16th your earliest admission date or program start date? (If your earliest admission date is 16th, then your start date should be in Sept, right?)


I applied for ER at Abuja on July 15th too(though, very late into the night) and I'm yet to get any response...(My start date is in September though)...

Hello everyone,

I applied for emergency visa appointment on 13th July but I have not gotten any response about the approval or denial of the request . The reply from the email I send to support-nigeria@ustraveldocs.com is same as what several people have received here. I considered calling this line (234)-9-461-4000 but it was not going through. I am supposed to resume a GA position and doctoral degree on 23rd August. Can anyone advice me on what to do or I should just keep waiting for their response?

I placed a call through to the Abuja embassy yesterday and I was given a special number to call, since my complaint was about an emergency request for a NIV.

The guy at the other end crosschecked my profile and said my ER was still under review. I even told him about the urgency of my request, noting that I've to be present soon for GA duties and on the job training and can't defer any longer after deferring from Fall 2020. He said there's nothing that can be done and that I'll receive an email once it's approved or denied. Persuaded him with everything possible, yet he stood his ground.

The only thing left is just to keep waiting. There was no approval throughout last week due to the holidays(if I'm not wrong). They've probably started attending to emergency requests since yesterday. I saw November 2021 dates later yesternight.

Actually, that's not the right way. You'll get the wrong value using that method.
You should just login to wes.org and use the free calculator to get the right estimate.

Stop using triple action creams or creams that contains corticosteroids, e.g Betamethasone, Dexamethasone, etc. Prolong use has a negative suppressive effect on your immune system. Just focus on plain antifungal creams alone, e.g ketoconazole creams.

In addition, you should take 400mg of that ketoconazole tablet once daily for 3weeks.

Some don't consider GRE scores. They prefer you're grounded in basic statistical softwares (SAS, R), you may need to repackage your SOP too.

You can start one but you would have to employ someone else to work on the idea... read through this thread https://www.quora.com/Can-I-start-a-company-if-Im-in-the-US-on-a-student-F1-visa and probably file for EB2 visa (National Interest Waiver category) and the Adjustment Of Status later on if your idea works out.
