If what you say is true, they should be the most developed region in Nigeria.

You cannot develope without steady electricity. So what is stopping the north that gets 22 hours of electricity as you claim.

I concur with what that guy wrote.....Oshogbo in osun state has more than 23hrs of light a day....Northern states also has soo many hrs of light but it beats my imagination why there are so many few industries there . I think one thing industries consider is nearness to market. That's why a state like Ogun has more industries than any state because of its proximity to lag.
