I paid the visa fee myself when it was still 32k at GTBank in UNILAG in may. But the appointment wasn't booked till about 4 weeks later. I definitely wont leave my passport with an agent so I paid myself.
As per receipt, I have only one. I'm sure there is no second one.
I'm going to get to the root of the problem on Monday.
A close pal of mine had the same issue last year. He said he had to pay for another appointment and book again. So I'm guessing that's what would happen.

Well, I had already paid them for a full package before I stumbled on this thread.
They handled my SAT and Toefl tutorials, admission processing and even got me two scholarships.
And visa assistance was in inclusive. That was way back before i stumbled on this thread.
There's a lesson learnt sha.

so my interview was meant to be today Somehow somehow, at the point of screening the GTB transaction number didn't match the one on the confirmation and I wasnt allowed beyond the checkpoint at the waterfront.
Apparently, I'm at fault, I didn't do the booking myself. Pending the time, the issue is resolved, does any one have an idea what could have gone wrong?
And those car park touts were offering to forge a new receipt but damn, that was too risky. The implication might be for life or long term

If I understood his question, now that he has a full tuition scholarship. He shouldn't have problem regarding finances as the value of the scholarship would be indicated on his i20.

Did you have scholarship when you when you denied? If no, you should be fine. When asked asked about your finances, explain that you have a full scholarship.

I was at UBA yesterday to do the transfer of funds from my account to school's account via Flywire
So I filled the Form A yesterday and added my documents

Me: Have you made any transfer to Flywire before
Bank: Yes, I have done a couple of them.
Me:How long will it take for my transfer to get approved and get sent
Bank: She smiled as if to say that's a Jamb question
Me: I know it depends on several factors but what is the average duration
Bank : I can't say exactly but it wouldn't take time anymore as the long scrutiny wouldnt be needed anymore. The CBN has removed the restriction of Dollar transfer. Hence no more official rate
Me: (Cuts in sharply) Does that mean I wont get this funds transferred at official rate of 199NGN
Bank : Yes it means the rate is subject to forces of demand and supply
Me: (Sounding dissapointed) In that case there may not be need for this again
Bank: Relax I will check the current rate for you
She then typed some things on her system and said : the current rate is 199NGN
Me: Is there any form of rationing done based on the demand for dollars
Bank: In the past ..Yes. But now... No as the restrcitions has been removed. If you have your money you get the amount of dollars you requested for.
She then scanned my documents and sent to Head Office.
Bank: You will get the debit alert once it's complete, but I have already generated the code for you at 199NGN.




I contacted the school made them know I had ordered some amount actually much more than my tuition to be transferred into my Student Account via Flywire to be used for Tuition,Living Expenses, Books and Insurance. I then asked how the credit balance will be refunded.

I said major difference doesn't mean that I am not aware of other differences.

For me to say major is because I saw the computer based as new innovation which was not in former and removing negative marking and making it just two section is a minor difference that are similar to former SAT

I believe you grab why I marked that as Major difference..

Sir it is not a computer based exam if I'm understanding you. Its still paper and pencil.

Getting the sat textbook ebook is going to be damn difficult as they just changed the exam this year. I don't know about toefl.

This is the case. I have a tuition waiver at Cameron for undergrad studies Which bring all expenses to about 8k dollars(housing and feeding inclusive). But the thing is I plan to partially sponsor my self. I have another full tuition offer at a uni in Maryland that i an awaiting a decision on. But par venture it doesn't come through, Cameron would be the best option. I've paid for my visa appointment fee, but haven't booked a date or paid siwes fee because of this.
I definitely intend working on campus for 20 hours, and would also work underground(the craiglist typa jobs).
Would it be worth risking?
