Forget pride, let's go to countries who have dealt wit guerrilla warfare in the past for ways to combat it. If our satellites are not useful, request for regular surveillance reports from others.

I was a Corper serving in a Bank. She was transferred to my Branch and I was to work directly under her. We hit it off after a while although she was somewhat strict and aloof at first.
She was hot, pretty, very smart, early to mid thirties (bt in great shape like a twenty year old), sassy and stylish... I mean what's not to like! I discovered we had a lot in common and we even had the same Alma Mata!
I would return to the office after CDS every week and she would ask me to buy something for her when coming.
We talked a lot, abt our Uni days and how our social lives were back then (mine was pretty much non-existent and she always teased me abt it).

One day after the close of business with just the two of us in the office (my work desk and hers at abt 45 degress apart facing each) she walked over to my desk, eyes shining radiantly, her face all smiles. I thought to myself, could dis be happening? Was it going to happen right there and then? All sorts of thoughts going through my mind. I was going to get it!

That's when she approached me and said....

This is definitely not d right place to discuss its merits and demerits. Most of us hav prob been affected by it in one way or another- Common Entrance, JAMB, other Fed Govt agency recruitments etc.

Look to the future, forget the past, enjoy the present.
In Tubaba's famous words "Who God has blessed no man can curse".

This is a very serious topic and pple are here saying they can't be bothered to read d whole write up. I bet d pple saying these are our dear students who haven't (yet) experienced dis. Just pray you don't experience it.
I served in a bank and after my youth service, I was retained on a "contract" basis. I did it for a few months before I realised that there was no future in it and I ran away from it.
In banks, it's a source of cheap (some may say unskilled) labour. In Oil and Gas and Telecoms industries you can get skilled personnel doing it for short periods (not always).
It is something dat shd be done away with as far I'm concerned.

I know how u feel as I also resigned from my well-paying job. Like you, d "I'm on leave" excuse don expire; either I go out early and return late or I jst stay indoors d whole day.
It can be really frustrating.
I urge you to reconsider ur decision to "fashi" d TCN job completely, while encouraging u to look for other jobs in d meantime.
Keep d faith, good job dey hard to find in dis country. The Good LORD dat has taken us dis far will not disappoint us. It will be well by God's grace IJN.
