Yes mikel is being better and talented than matic but matic is more hard working than mikel. @Op who be that Oyinbo for our coaching crew, shey nah back room staff? I like his shoki move
Mikel is more talented no doubt but when u're not hardworking in the pitch your output tends to be low your output on the field determines how good u are bro MATIC is better

Mikel is a better player than Matic, especially if he is used as a Pivot. Mourinho never saw Mikel as a better player than Matic. That is why he chose Matic over Mikel. Sir Alex saw raw Gold in Mikel and fought hard to keep him at Man Utd. That is the difference.
Mikel is a quality defensive midfielder by world standard.Mikel being better than matic bros na ur imagination b that abi na only this season u start to dey watch Chelsea match?

Mourinho would not buy Matic if he believed in Mikel and Loftus-Cheek. Are you saying Mourinho believes in Mikel more than Matic?

The man never believed Mikel. That is why despite being the second best player in the African footballer of the year, he went ahead to buy Matic and dropped Mikel on the bench. Mourinho never believed Mikel. He just did not want a rival to have a talent they wanted. Just as he signed Pedro to stop Manchester united from signing Pedro.
he never believed in Mikel and doesn't still believe in Mikel shey then why e never sell am or just freeze him out of the team there was no way he wasn't going to buy matic Chelsea always uses a large squad to prevent the usual arsenal style injury crisis.
and get it straight matic walked into the 1st team cuz he was better than Mikel not because mourinho doesn't believe in mikel

Mourinho did not believe in him. Would Mourinho buy Ballack and tell Ballack to play as a defensive midfielder?

Mikel complained that he can not tackle. He never could. That is why he amassed a lot of red cards. Remember, there was a time Mikel was arrested for driving after drinking during a Chelsea game. Frustration wanted to kill the young man.

Mourinho did not believe in him. There was no need to sign Mikel when he had Lampard, Ballack coming in and Essien.

At Manchester United, Mikel was Sir Alex's only hope. He believed he was the one to fill a big void left by Roy Keane.

You can never compare the level of belief both Coaches had in Mikel.

When Nacho plays upfront, he looks better and promising than when he plays as a midfielder.

Mikel looks poor as a defensive midfielder. You can not compare them.
u can't use the number of players in a role to determine belief or unbelief the 2 base midfield role in Chelsea (DM or CM) always consist of four or five players in Mikels time there was ballack lampard essien now check out dis we had loftus cheek we still bought matic making it loftus cheek ramires Mikel matic even fabregas that's 5 players don't they all get game time.maybe if loftus cheek doesn't have a stellar career u would blame it on mou and Chelsea but since his debut mou has been supportive even giving him game time in the UCL so its up to the player oh.
u also addressed Mikel not being able to tackle (I hope u knw most times he gets among the 3 highest interceptions in Chelsea matches) same thing goes for gotze who comes in as a sub in the no 9 role he keeps complaining that's not his role pep still lives him there so there is always an attribute a coach would see that would make him change a players role

There is no guarantee that the transfer will work but Sir Alex had belief in Mikel. Mourinho did not. Mikel never played as a Central midfielder, let alone as a creative Midfielder. Mikel did not come close to becoming one of the football greats because there was no plan for his growth at Chelsea.

Sir Alex had a position empty after the departure of Roy Keane. He believed Mikel would suit that role.

It would have been better for Mikel to go to a coach who believed he was great than go to Mourinho who had zero plans for him.
u can't say mourinho didn't believe in Mikel because he did not play him in CM or AMF would u say pellegrini does not believe in nacho because he doesn't play him in midfield? if mourinho didn't believe in mou he wouldnt have even had game time in Chelsea he would have just been like Ben haim or even recently djilobodji.u would agree with me that he got more play time in his 1st season than even nacho is getting now so if that's not belief in a player then what is it?

I believe Mikel would have done well at Man Utd because his pattern suited the Philosophy of Sir Alex. His style was similar to Paul Scholes and Sir Alex wanted a partner for Scholes.

Sir Alex flew to Norway three times to convince Mikel to join Man Utd. Ferguson never did that for any player in his whole career. It showed how much belief Sir Alex had in Mikel. A belief Mourinho never had. Mourinho just bought Mikel to stop a rival from getting a top talent. Chelsea went on to sign Ballack after that. That showed Mourinho had no plans to play Mikel.

After Sir Alex lost Mikel, he signed Carrick which is similar to Mikel and Carrick had a long career there.
bro it seems u're not getting my point oh okay Ferguson travelled thrice to see him (1st of its kind) Ferguson as far back as 2001 shelled out £30m for veron (1st of its kind) it didn't still work out so travelling to see him shows you want him but is not a guarantee that the transfer will work.
am not trying to defend my beloved father(mou) am just saying we are not gods we don't knw which deal will work out.pipo make it seem like Ferguson would perform magic but he recorded several transfers that still flopped
Sports / Re: All The News About The Golden Eaglets (U-17) HERE! by Tomtoxic: 7:32am On Nov 09, 2015
see he plays more as a defensive player now its like gent converting ndidi to a DM so he is going to play higher in the field so Mikel playing backward will lose some of his attacking flair.
if messi has continued as an AMF not striker he would be winning assist leader in Europe but now he contest for the golden boot cuz he plays higher.
so where ever u play determines which of ur attributes will dominate

in as much as I do not rate this set as much as I rate d "13" set but they have a characteristics that I really love #shooting. when success got injured we were left with musa mohameed as the only player who really shoots so with this amunike boys the super eagle can get back the "nsofor feel"
a combination of manu and amunike boys gives a super eagle of both technical skillful physical and dogged players.

I saw 2 more goals and I got it.
I remember a nigga saying osimhen won't score 4rm open play broda u are on point.
I have already finished typing osimhen is a shitty striker before I realised he has scored 9 already but today he was whack sha.
nwakali z d star of this team ball dey e blood but seriously he should be banned 4rm shooting if its not a set piece, the amount of shots he wasted if converted to Akara go reach my full street do breakfast.
the defense turn to PS wey dem dey control dey just stood still and made dat Mexican guy the "new Messi"e just use dem shine chai!!!
guys shey dat our pk na dive sha? cuz I nur see wetin d mexico captain do.
okonkwo has potential but has to tone down the wayward shooting.
chukwueze is a nigga I love so much there was a pass he nearly gave dat was intercepted it was pure class and his "R2" ball that hit d bar I just dey imagine say na me dey knack my ps3 like dat (game dn spoil me sha lolz)
the 2nd half was an above average performance but totally d match was just an average performance

the 1st u-17 match of this tournament that am watching (relied on highlights for the previous matches) and am sorry I have to complain am not impressed at all :osimhen has a record to break and he is not even playing like that for the 1st 30 mins we had no shoot on target save an easy catch osimhen header, the midfield players are passing without looking the whole team is uncoordinated and mehn!! both wing backs are shitty players Mexican goal similar to the Croatian goal a wingback was rocked.
I have not seen any bamboozling tactics 4rm amunike cuz the players are playing without a style but anyway they have gradually grown into the game am expecting 2 more goals in the next half.
even tho its just 1 half but iheanacho set would be ahead of this naija u-17 like 3-0 in 45 mins #poor half
will be back after FT

Moses is not choosing club over country. He is protecting his career so he can be useful and important to the Super Eagles. If he is not doing well in his club, he can not do well for the country.

If he is not doing well for his club, he can not help in making Oliseh's time as Coach of the Super Eagles a success.
moses is choosing club over country bro cuz he wasn't injured the news I read he said he was trying to PREVENT injury (hu d f**k prevents injury u can walk round ur compound and still injure na).
he wants to focus on club career so oliseh gat to use players available 4 now Moses comes in later

I think first of the player's career before the club's vision. These clubs are successful and have money. The players need every help they can to make something out of life.

I did not want Nacho at City because I want a special talent in our club. We could let Nacho go and buy him when he becomes a star. If not City, then Arsenal. Wenger trained the likes of Fabregas and Van Persie. He discovered Henry.

I knew if Nacho was as good as the Citizen scouts believed, then he needed the best coaches, the best equipment and the best facility to bring out the best in Nacho.
u even mentioning arsenal is just what I have been trying to bring out a talented youngster needs regular play time that's simply y arsenal have produced a lot of quality players because they give youth a chance.Wenger doesn't buy much players so anytime there z so much injury a youngster takes over so u see this game time is evident in Porto but there was no such evidence in a star packed city so what convinced his father #money

4 Iscos, FC Porto. Impossible. Porto took Oliver Torres on loan last season because they do not have a player with that kind of quality.

Guardiola said Bayern have a lot of great players but non like Thiago Alcantara. James Rodriguez said he has never seen a player with the kind of ability of Isco. Nigeria is yet to replace Okocha and Oruma.

Few players operate with such class. Just like Nasri, Silva, Iniesta, Isco, Thiago Alcantara, Arda Turan, Modric. So Porto can not produce four Iscos.
AH AH!! by saying 4 iscos I simply mean u can't compare what pellegrini has done over the years with youth to what Porto has done na (its a man against a club)

So you know Moses risk losing his place at his club and you feel our National team should not help him if he cries for help? I do not understand this.

Oliseh can sacrifice some friendly games for Moses to cement a place at West Ham and Maybe get them to buy him from Chelsea. Oliseh said he wants top professionals to play for the Super Eagles. So how can hindering the progress of Moses help Oliseh achieve his vision?
how do you want the national team to help him rather than helping him focus on his club career.u're bringing moses sentiment into this issue my guy moses place on d team is on the line ryt okay let's say he has not tested moses so can't rate him now look at it this way oliseh's job is on the line bro since d enyeama issue pipo have been calling for his head.
imagine moses taking the club over national team hope when Nigeria qualifies and oliseh chooses a list 4 d afcon or WC without moses u wouldn't fight 4 his inclusion cuz it would be unfair to those who risked their places in their team for friendly matches
