Mcpadosky: Only if Nigerians could think. We are the real losers in this political games. How many of us can get Billion contract from GEJ like Gani Adam, who will use use it for his selfish lifestyle. How many of us can get 10 private jets like Gej… Doyn okupe said we are not qualified to have a brand new Train cars, but he can have 4 new bullets proof mercedes cars costing half a million dollars each. If only we nigerians could thinks and vote right this saturday for our future and the future of our children. letl vote out PDP so that APC can be scared of us that if they do not perform after 4 years, they will be voted out and replace with new party that will listen to us. We nigerians dont ask for much.. All we ask for is good road, good hospitals , job provision, and security. Ethopian just luch their light rail costing 477 million dollars, all brand new train with A/C. Our govt spent 12 billions dollars for cans (agolo) called train for us to ride on. Okupe said we are not Americans we dont deserve new ones. Dubai is a desert..their police officer are using half a million dollar car each to patrol the city. Our police are fighting for new uniforms and shoes… we believed GEJ when he says he had no shoes, not knowing that he is worst than 10 corrupt govt combined. He had shoes and 10 jets to play with now. First time in nigeria history, President personally distrbuting loots money across the country by himself. Only if nigerians could think this saturday. Nothing but the truth. I wish all those shouting GEJ till... will put on their thinking caps and reason critically beyond sentiments. A party has ruled for 16 years and yet nothing is working, you still want to vote for that same party for another four years and thereafter head to the church and start disturbing heavens with unnecessary prayers. I pray the will of the people who are tired of corruption, poverty, backwardness and mediocrity prevail on saturday. |

KingsleyCEO: Apc at work, but you will never win!
GEJ still on point Yeah. APC were the ones behind the UN house bombing, they were the ones behind the independence day blast. They were the ones at work when over 200 girls were kidnapped in Chibok last year. Please make use of common sense when next you want to post a comment. It's only an unserious government that would blame the opposition for it's failures. A government that had more than 5 years to deal with these miscreants in the North but failed now wants them finished in 6 weeks. Where does that hapen? It is surprising that this same government that has failed over the last 5 years still wants to continue for another 4 years. It is even more surprising to see that some of the people that were shouting 'bring back our girls' some months back are the same people shouting GEJ till 2019. Isn't that stupidity? There is no point voting failures into power and heading to church to pray for God to change the country. God would not be held responsible for our failure if we refuse to utilise our God-given common sense. |
NYSC › Re: See How Corps Members Get Water In Gwer West LGA, Benue State. by tomzman: 5:23pm On Mar 24, 2015 |
CrazyMan: Well said.
At times I begin to wonder if our government uses charms to blind the eyes of the masses spiritually so as to prevent them (the masses) from seeing who they truly are. Cos I see no reason why a constituency which receives allocation from the federal government cannot boast of any form of development. People walk miles just to fetch a muddy water when a proper bore-hole can be dug for the benefit of everyone, no electricity, no good roads...etc.
And yet this same people would re-elect the same politicians who failed them back into power, despite the fact that their presence as leaders has very little influence on the development of the constituency they represent.
Of a truth suffering has become part of our normal lifestyle. You could not have said it any better. Barman! Abeg give this guy 3 bottles of Orijin. |
Politics › Re: INEC Releases Statistics Of PVC Collected In All 36 States And FCT by tomzman: 5:02pm On Mar 24, 2015 |
Flets: How do we avoid the impending dangers to Nigeria’s economy and existence under a Buhari presidency? We must need to face reality as there is no magic in governance. Extremely hard times lies ahead for this country if Buhari ever emerges victorious.
How do you explain to a Niger Deltan that despite GEJ's achievements in almost all sectors, roads, bridges, railways, agriculture, automobile, alamajiri schools, new universities, fertilizer and ghost worker scam elimination, freedom of press, FOI, free and fair elections, power sector. .........etc, he is still booted out.
What will stop the creeks from going haywire again? Buhari will send the troops to the creeks and together they will set the oil facilities ablaze. OBJ's use of JTF force could not help as no Oil producing company will risk producing crude and killing staff in a volatile region. GEJ under Yaradua had to get down to the creeks to to talk to these boys and effect the amnesty program because they found him as a representation in government.
It will be impossible to convince a ND minority albeit a militant that their own was not persecuted out of office. And that will be the theme of their new struggle. The long term solution to this mess is implementing the Confab report and enthroning true federalism.
A lot of opportunities are springing up around Africa and the IOCs are already geared towards investing in these newer and saner climes than invest in an unstable Niger delta . And while these troubles persists, the oil producing companies will simply withdraw their personnel from the volatile region and all foreign investments will seize in all sectors.
Unfortunately, even if the Nigerian troops kill 90% of the militants, it will take just one militant, a dynamite and just one strategic location along the multi- kilometer trunk lines to continue to wreck havoc to the Nigerian economy.
Fast forward to 2019, if we remain one country and without a civil war,, we will be an economic wreck with no allocations and salaries, no capital projects, no hope with dollar exchanging for 400 naira and we are worse off than we were in 2015.
Cos the truth is that without crude proceeds for now, Nigeria is finished.
And then, we'll be screaming another 'Change' because we would have learnt a bitter lesson in the hands of the Fulanis, Tinubu and Saraki. And then we will ask.... Why were we this silly?
And before you quote me, make sure you outline in clear terms how you or Buhari will avert this obvious calamity staring us in the face Only last week, they creek boys seem to have resumed activities by kidnapping at Yoho facility operated by Exxonmobil and have shut in 80KBD already. Are we ready for this for the next 4 years?
The entire world stands to benefit from a crisis in the Niger delta. Its not a coincidence that USA who abandoned us at the height of bokoharam is busy shouting for change in govt . Crises in the ND will reduce supply of crude to the Oil market and that would drive up the price of crude for producing countries.... But at Nigeria's expense.
Is Buhari is any way a better Democratic president than GEJ? Is this risk worth it?
Nigerians.... Be Warned!!! Keep fooling yourself. Where are the bridges, I hope you are not refering to that rubbish he commissioned in Kano last week. You are talking about free and fair elections when the elections are yet to hold. Dont even go near the power sector, Jonathan is a total failure there. Power production keeps dropping and you call that an achievement, I wonder how some people reason. All the other stuff you listed as achievements are what obtains in a sane Country. Sometimes I read Posts and wonder what Nigeria´s future would look like if People like the poster were the majority in the Country. |

Family › Re: How Can A 37 Yrs Old Single Lady Attract Suitors? by tomzman: 1:32pm On Mar 21, 2015 |
This should serve as a lesson to other young girls. I have said it on a similar thread and I can say it anywhere that unless a girl is extremely ugly (pardon me if that sounds too harsh ) or lacking in assets there is no way guys wouldn't chase after such a girl. It is now left for the girl to prayerfully select the best (I didn't say the richest or most perfect) of them. By the way the Nigerian society is, she is most likely to enjoy that privilege of being chased up to the age of 25. Anything after that, the number of suitors starts reducing drastically as guys would begin to consider her as old or unserious. So op, ask your friend what she was doing in her younger years. The only solution now is for her to be more prayerful and outgoing. Let her attend dinners, parties, seminars, church, singles programmes etc and mingle. Let her also spend time developing herself. Let her go out and learn something feminine like cooking, baking, decoration, bead making etc. Who knows she might just be lucky and I even pray she is so her story would serve as a lesson to her daughter(s). |
