eakenbor:You go fear rigging. I pray the governorship election there is peaceful so we'll see where Wike will get his 1.4million votes from. |
ireneony:To think I used to respect you before now. I read some of your posts and concluded you were a reasonable girl. This post of yours is beginning to make me think otherwise and my respect for you is dwindling. For Christ's sake, what do you Igbos stand to gain from sentimental politics and ethnic bigotry. I thought this election should have thought you a lesson that hating other people will eventually backfire at you but it's appearing to me you guys never learn. The same Yorubas you hate have been so accommodating to you. You guys even have house of reps slots in Lagos. What else do you want? You hate the hausas too but your businesses are scattered all over the North. What really is your problem? ![]() I wonder what APC even did to you guys that you hate them so much. Well they are in power now, deal with it. We all know they may not be saints but we have tried a party for 16 years, nothing is working, and you still want us to return that same set of people for another four years. If you Igbos still want to be part of a united Nigeria, you had better stop the hate and let's all work together for the good of everyone cos ethnic and religious bigotry will lead us nowhere or can a house divided itself stand? Honestly, I am disappointed in you Irene. I really am. |
Good one from the president. I'm happy Nigerians finally spoke through their votes. Enough of politics of tribe and religion, enough of playing sentimental politics and running to Prayer city to disturb God. He has already given us abundant resources and the common sense to manage it. We should therefore use them to his glory and for our development. With this I hope the message is now clear to our leaders. It's either you perform or get booted out. As a supporter of GMB/PYO and APC at large, I would not hesitate to vote them out if they fail. If everybody adopts that attitude, Nigeria would be better in no time. I once again salute our outgoing President. By accepting defeat, he has proven himself to be a true statesman and he earns my respect for that. God bless Nigeria. |
Like he has a choice |

Nice one. We must all work together to make Nigeria better. |
Kudos madam. |
Jaydenphoenix:Q.E.D Collect 3 bottles of orijin. The bill is on me. |

I'm trying to imagine David Mark as an ordinary floor member. Chai ![]() It's the Igbos I pity most. They have put all their eggs in a basket and lost all. Too bad. I wish the next senate all the best. |
DickTator1:That olodo is now your president-elect and would be sworn in as President on the 29th of may to rule for the next four years. You better start getting used to that. |
PDP playing opposition. What an interesting scenario we are gonna watch for the next four years. |
Thank God you came back to your senses. |
cry me a river pdp |
Wow this thread finally reached page 200. It should go down as one of the most viewed threads in a day. I congratulate my fellow GMB supporters who stood their ground till the end. Beyond this our historic victory is a victory for democracy. To the saTANists, (or should I call them ex-saTANists) you guys should unite with us and let's move the country forward. It belongs to us all in the first place. With that, I Tomzman officially, gallantly and ceremoniously sign out of this great thread. Signed Tomzman |
Is this not the same Akwa Ibom where Buhari got just about 1%. There is God sha |
Thank you Borno ![]() My fellow nairalanders, at this point, I can proudly say its game over. I hereby congratulate the President elect Gen. Muhammadu Olukayode Okechukwu Buhari. ![]() Above all, I congratulate the Nigerian people on this historic event. Long live Nigeria. |
temitemi1:The no1 'GEJ till 2019' robot finally comes out of his delusion and succumbs to reality. I'm waiting for the other saTANists to follow suit. Never underestimate the power of the electorates. God bless Nigeria. |
A foolish show of shame by Orubebe. I'm glad Jega maturely put him in his rightful place. |
Good one. It's time for our Igbo brothers to stop the hate and sentimental politics and join in rebuilding the nation. |
Good of her. She should however emulate Genevieve and Omotola next time. |
Let the celebration begin |
Which woman wouldn't be. Congrats, Nigeria's first lady. |
Good job from Rochas. He is a symbol of one Nigeria. I salute you Rochas and I hope your kinsmen would one day acknowledge your wisdom. |
Nice one |
He must be laughing hard at his enemies. I proudly congratulate Amaechi for his doggedness. He has earned himself a place in the history books. I feel sorry for his deputy though. Truly, he who laughs last laughs best. |
Shame on you Asari. I dare you to try anything silly, you will be crushed. |
nedz:Even a blind man can see it |
And that signifies the beginning of pdp's journey as an opposition party |
BlackGirlsCode:Even though he failed to deliver his state, I still give him kudos for his doggedness. |
Let me still wait for the official announcement before I officially start my jubilation. I can imagine the look on the face of the saTANists especially the one expecting 1.5million votes from Delta By the way, where's my dear berem? I'm proud of you girl. |
Delta, I salute your rigging, chai |
