I don't think there's any more advice to give. Fellow nairalanders before me have said it all. Op, how you managed to be with that kind of girl for 4 years is beyond me. I know your type though, you are the lily-livered kind of guy that is obsessed with his lady and scared to lose her. Guy, it's time to man up and send that liar out of your life and be firm in your decision no matter the amount of begging from her.

I am glad to read the comments of some guys on this thread. It's good guys are beginning to wise up. As someone who has had quite an experience with women, I'll say the era of "love is blind" is gone. Testing is the way to go for a guy that has a purpose and a vision, it is the way to go for a guy that wants to have peace of mind in marriage. I won't put a ring on the finger of a dunce, an NFA or a liability all in the name of love.

Sometimes, I regret coming to this world as a black man. Just look how low we have gone. This is shameful.

This Freeze guy is a confirmation that wisdom and maturity are not necessarily proportional to age. He is only old in body but a baby in wisdom.

Let's even go by his reasoning.Firstly, the richest (and probably the most successful) man in Africa is Hausa, his female counterpart is Yoruba. None of them is married to an Igbo meaning igbos are completely absent in the success stories of these two.

Secondly, other successful Yoruba men like Adenuga, Otedola, Tinubu among others do not even have Igbo concubines not to talk of wives. Only few Igbo men (if any at all) match these men in success so what are we talking about.

Personally, I agree that a successful marriage is not a function of the tribe you marry from but I have had reasons to doubt it. I love all tribes being someone that has close female friends from almost all the six geopolitical zones of the country but when it comes to marriage, I'm sorry to say I'll prefer to marry from any other zone except southeast and some parts of south south. I am sure any Yoruba man who has travelled wide and who aims for peace of mind in marriage would understand me.
