You would have to be very firm but try as much as possible not to be rude. You should also stop accepting food and other stuff from her. I personally have it as a principle never to accept food from a girl I'm not in a serious relationship with. I've been abused because of this in the past but I didn't bulge. As a guy, you have to be able to set certain boundaries with ladies you are not too interested in. That way, they would get the message without you saying it out verbally.

Shut the hell up. Who are you hosting? Lagos is a no man's land. With 35% igbo population. My grandfathers built lagos and we will live in it and grow it till eternity. We don't hate Yorubas, we are only paying you back in your own coin.

Let's even assume Lagos is no man's land. What's the sense in abandoning your own land to go and populate and 'develop' a 'no man's land'? Your businesses are also scattered all over the north and other SW states. Are those places 'no man's lands' too?

If everyone decides to pay others back in their own coin, do you think there'll be anyone alive today? You people should know Yorubas are not empty chest beaters, they can finish you without saying a word. As much as I preach unity and oneness, I think this attitude of Igbos is becoming something else. How ungrateful can you guys be Look at the hatred and hostility you are displaying towards your own host, turning against them in their own land. You fools are beginning to irritate me on this Forum. You hate your hosts yet you keep trooping into their land. Why not go back to your villages and develop it. You are lucky the Yorubas are very tolerant but I urge you not to push them to the wall or you would end up regretting it.

I won't argue with you. I asked a simple question, where were you when we took to the streets to protest that GEJ be made acting president or where were you during the subsidy protests?

I don't want to be dragged any further into tribalism. The election has come and gone and we've all learnt our lessons. It's time to move the country forward and we all must come together to do it.

I still maintain that GEJ got booted out because he failed. Even if it was just one of Nigeria's major problems he was able to solve, he would have won this election.

For those of you shouting SW this, SW that, one thing I want you to understand is that we are hungry for performance. That is why we don't mind turning against our own if he fails. Take a cue from Obasanjo's 3rd term agenda, we Yorubas were the first to reject it and we also made sure we frustrated that idea to the last. Yorubas would always fight to make sure things are done right irrespective of who is involved.

Above all, I maintain that as long as we remain one Nigeria, we would have to put our differences behind us and join hands to move the country forward and the earlier we realise this, the better.

Let Asari try anything silly and see what would happen to him.
