Luluvich: I bought the etisalat GaGa smartphone on the 9th of December and I have to say.....for a budget, single core processing, 256mb RAMing, 512mb memory phone....the phone is one kick ass phone. unlocked it 3 months ago when I was done with the etisalat package and started using it with other lines. The phone has helped me a lot with my business. Its very sleek, with a nice UI and above average performance. with my harem of apps, I hardly drop it. ping with blackberry and iPhone users via LiveProfile, download music via last mp3, browse cheaply through Opera Mini, watch HD movies with Mizuu, read novels through aldiko, read comics through comic rack, e.t.c.....the list is endless. The only thing left is to root it which I'm still trying to figure out. eventually when I get the HTC One X, I doubt I'll sell this phone. It's been a wonderful device and like a virgin, it introduced me for the first time to the orgasmic world of android.

startimes can compete wit DSTV but my fear is Dstv may add supersports 3 in GOTV to draw attension,. while people will rush it because of
SS 3, later they will remove it and put SuperSport7,. you guys still remember dstvmobile? they ss3, later remove it.people start complain

People who are never satisfied or don't really know what they want who migrated out at that point couldn't migrate in again. At least I'm still using mine. Also the essence of all these packages is to satisfy the diverse need of Nigerians. Nobody is forcing anybody to use one package. Choose the one that best suites you is the underground message. To compare glo with mtn is murder. Glo saved us from telecoms slavery....like it or not.

PHIPEX: You can't compare the two cos they serve different purposes. I only know about 3 persons who are Nairalanders in person while I know 95% of my friends on facebook in person. In term of education, I am more educated on NL than FB.

rman: Apparaently, everyone hates MTN in Nigeria but the realty on ground is they are the market leader and are still growing. In fact they added more than a million subscribers last year which is second only to Etisalat. Everytime I see threads about MTN and DSTV on nairaland, it is all hate, hate and hate from forum members. Unless nairaland is not a partial reflection of the Nigerian reality, and if it is, WHO ARE THOSE ON MTN NIGERIA'S NETWORK?

1.don't care how much they charge
2.because they buy the line when it is 25-30k(don't want 2 change even if they are charging 70/min or too many people knows me wit it)
