I’m asked to pay a $500 non refundable deposit to secure my seat and admission

They said this deposit will be added to my tuition fee

My problem now is, what if I’m denied visa, so my money is gone like that ?

I got admission too for masters in Actuarial Mathematics and Decision Analytics for fall 2021 with no funding. They also told me to pay 500 dollars to secure my seat which will be added towards my tuition. I am gladly declining cos I got better offers. They are looking for money in the pocket of someone that is also looking for money. That is why it's not advisable to apply for admission to all these private universities- their sole aim is profit. They want me to pay for masters in America when i should be paid. Ain't nobody got time for that. Peace�

Got Ph.D fully funded. Did interview with an Asst. Prof and we exchanged mails but might be rejecting it. I don't know yet. I think I applied around late feb.

I have a masters with some good publications.

Did anyone get a master admission for fall 2021 from Middle Tennessee State university with assistantship and funding yet? Did your admission come with funding or you are still waiting for it?
I got conditional Master admission which would be made unconditional when i send my WES evaluation. Do you think there is no word on funding because my admission is conditional even though I just applied for the graduate assistantship/ funding this week after I got admission because it is stated that you can only apply for GA or funding when you have been admitted.
Also how highly placed is MTSU? Is it a recognized school?
Any thoughts on this my dear people?

They sent me an email to send proof of fund but i have not sent yet- I want them to give me admission first . Do you think why they have not moved mine is as a result of this reason? I have a friend that they sent the same email to send proof of fund and he didn't send but he got admission last week. I just wonder!

My background is mathematics and got couple of experience in IT. I think GA varies by department but they all seem to require separate application for GA and does not come with admission offer.

My background is statistics with 4.44/5 CGPA and Masters with 3.03/4 CGPA. I don't know what the problem is. I have applied for graduate assistantship though. Hoping for the best!

I got two admissions from the WIU and I have been asked to choose the one I will like to pursue - the two courses are M.Sc Mathematics and M.Sc Applied Statistics and Decision Analytics. I want to know which of the two programs is easier to get GA.

How is your profile like? I have not heard from them - I applied for masters in statistics and Decision Analytics since February and finished my application in March.

I am worried because I have other offers and i want to compare my offers with WIU before I know which one to choose.

When do you think assistantship/funding will come to you?

How much is the meager stipend? And have you checked the average stipend paid to graduate assistants in the USA to compare yours?

It is 5,000 dollars per year for a graduate lab assistant. Some American schools pay more than that.

Hello people,

I finished my master program on scholarship here in Turkey and i have just been accepted into the master program at Georgia State University for Fall 2021 with tuition waiver and graduate lab assistantship position but with a meagre stipend (not upto my expectation).

I have upto 1 month to decide to accept or not because I still have about 8 other pending decisions from other schools that I am waiting for.

I guess I should wait for a school with better offer. What do you guys think? Anybody with any idea about this school? Is it a school with good reputation?

I am a masters student in Turkey and i am here to seek for suggestions on what i can export from Turkey to Nigeria that can sell very fast. Some people are telling me to export suits and packet shirts but i think that market is saturated now- a lot of people are into it now. I want something different from the norm that can sell fast too.
I don't want to venture into building materials, aluminium, steel etc because they are capital intensive.
I just need something that won't tie the small capital down fro me.

I can't still understand why a man can be attracted to a guy. Am I not normal here or is there something I am missing? Which sane man won't be erect seeing the unclothedness of a very pretty damsel or who won't want to be f**king a very sweet p***y and all. Just the look of the breast and how tender it is when touched is a big turn on�.
