This is very true, Based on the NT the message was for the followers of Jesus to endure for an eternal glorius aferlife that was already at hand which was to come during the generation of some of the followers at that time, If you are a slave at that time, be a good one. No need for rebellion because the kingdom was already at time, As a new religion or teaching and the times he would have lived in it makes perfect sense to me to tell people not to repay evil with evil or turn the other Cheek when they are under attack.

The vast majority of Christians are completely hypocritical on some of Jesus' teachings. Pacifism is just one of them, Jesus's teaching with regards to wealth is another issue that Christians tend to ignore completely.

Her visions of "heaven" are nothing that couldn't be seen on earth. God is a really good looking white dude with blue eyes,  pointed nose and other features of the white man. She anthropomorphises god like everyone else does. I imagine if she were born in Iran or Pakistan, her paintings would be of Muhammed and Allah, and she'd be singing the praises of Islam.

Can you show me and mazaje the picture of the empty tomb of Jesus which you claim still exists?

I believe the OP was just asking a simple question which is if the so called "supernatural" entities like demons, angels, gods, satan etc were in existence how can they be objectively detected? Is there any mechanism by which we can objectively measure the existence of such entities and conclude that the supernatural is real?

Noah's story is a myth ands the event ONLY happened on the pages of the hebrew bible and no where else. Natural disasters in my opinion are just part of the world we live in and humans must accept them and live with that fact. What happened in Haiti is a natural disaster, nothing more. Any attempt to read any 'divine punishment' into this smacks of the sadistic Christianity many of you practice these days.

Natural disasters if we are to go by what the bible says are all the actions of Yahweh. Read your bible sometimes and stop allowing pastors to read it for you.

Let's get into the principle of the principle of 5 whys. It basically says that if you ask why 5 times and you get the right answers, you should arrive at the root cause of a problem. Why is Haiti suffering from "lack of accountability, transparency, greed, lazy mentality and a culture that does not support development" - quoting you?

Better still, why is Nigeria (I suggest we use Nigeria as a case in point because of similarities with Haiti) the way it is today, why do we have a missing president, why is there corruption everywhere, why do we have so many so called pastors and the country is still not getting better, so many whys?

We can all point to the things you mentioned and I can tell you that those are symptoms of a bigger problem.

As to how this quake has to do with a "Pact" with the devil?, well I know that those things we read in the bible about how God wiped out nations, they are not stories, they are true.

They are not, in my opinion, "associated" with the heart. Those are "clichés" in popular culture. The associations are in the language we use, and not in the actual biological processes in our body.

Actually these emotions are associated with the brain not the heart. The heart is just a blood pumping machine. You can have a well functioning heart, but with an injured brain you can feel non of these emotions sometimes depending on the part of the brain that sustains the injury.

Tell me why COURAGE AND SPUNK are associated with the GUTS?

There are hormones like adrenaline that help project this emotions or feelings. What exactly are you trying to get at?
