Yes it was. But if it can be proven at the law court that campaigning was done when voting had been declared "to start", then trust me, the majority of the high court panel will hit the hammer on Atiku. Even if they refuse, at the supreme court, it will be done.

But that's only if, Wike can prove that voting had commenced "in any way possible"

Voting had commenced. It's like campaigning during elections. You could be disqualified by INEC if the plaintiff can proof that you campaigned "within the election period/when campaign had stopped"

The only thing that will calm Gov. Wike down is;
1) if HE Atiku and/or Tambuwal will OPENLY apologies for the brazen display of betrayal at the last PDP convention.

2) If Ayu resigns before the general elections.

Apart from these options, just leave Wike alone. That man second name na TROUBLE. And he's not afraid of wherever the trouble will lead him to.

Wike feels more pain when he looks back to 2015 elections; he remembers how HE Atiku left the party for APC, causing PDP to lose power. Those at the echelon of PDP didn't say anything. Wike kept on fighting for the party and used finances to keep the party running from 2015 to 2019. The party leaders kept calm.

Before 2019 elections, HE Atiku came back to PDP, the ticket was given to him. And in 2022, against the wish of the southern governors, he picked the ticket again.

Wike will fight until he sees "made in china" at the bottom. At worst, he'll leave the party and come back after the elections like HE Atiku did.

Party leaders must handle Wike's matter carefully and with wisdom.

Where was all the Igbo mass PVC registration and advocacy for the likes of GEJ in 2015 and Atiku in 2019?

Note that GEJ's govt was labelled an Igbo government owing to the highly lucrative portfolios GEJ appointed Igbos to oversee.

In 2019, Obi was on the ballot as Atiku's running mate but we never heard from the Igbos on how a magnificent messiah he is now being labelled. Voter apathy in the SE remained the same like in 2015 when the most Igbo friendly GEJ was on the ballot.

So now that we have Peter Obi running for President we see that Igbos are now dominating our public space shouting for an Obi's candidacy.

The only reason for this new found Igbo voter advocacy (and a new found patriotism) is because Peter Obi is Igbo and to them only an Igbo deserves such fanatical support and advocacy .

Don't be fooled by Igbo tricks.
