Politics › Re: Onshore Oil Fields They Don't Want You To See by tonychristopher: 3:16pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
Goodboiyy: the Igbo loves lies and deceit. Onshore oil File produces less Barrel per day compare to Offshore.
We d itsekiri have little Onshore oil field but Our Offshore Oil field alone makes us the richest Tribe in Nigeria. We produces about 40% of Nigeria wealth.
On a normal note the Urhobo/Isoko has more onshore Oil field than us but we produces more than both together with the Ilajes and d entire SE states.
Well let me ignore there foolishness.. Always looking for a way to form Alliance with SS...It shows they re just interested in our oil. the issue is that you itshekiri people are on a leased land and you know that you can't say this in front of urhobo and ijaw man..you know that land is owned by urhobos and sobo people don't rejoice yet till Ejiro comes ... |

[quote author=ChinenyeN post=35964421]This is simply not true. Igbo people should stop telling themselves lies. Just because we are all now 'Igbo' and call our collective location 'Igboland' does not suddenly make you and indigene of Ngwa or Echie etc. nor does it make me an indigene of Nnewi or Ika, etc. We can settle in these places, build families, die and be buried, but we will never be sons daughters of soil that is not ours. That is the simple reality of the situation. [/quote nwa enwe |

omooba969: @bolded,
U guys neva learn, u still nurse d ambition of waging war against our dear Nigeria laughing in Chinese!
Wetin be ur age sef, or u think say dat fight over plate of akpu wit ur siblings is wot they call WAR? 'must be dat ur brain is overheating!
Go bck to ur village & ask folks who r 65yrs n above abt all dat happened during d Biafra war, only then will u av a rethink. Biafra dream was dead on arrival cos it was borne out of selfish ambition. Late Ojukwu didn't do adequate/proper consultation let alone representing d interests of all quarters.
If u care to knw, late Ojukwu fled d warfront in g-string&mini skirt not forgetting his brazilian wig, leaving his ppl behind to be slaughtered in their hundreds of thousands while d world watched helplessly. One of d conditions upon which he cud return to 9ja as a free man was to BIN d biafra dream i.e negotiating d determination of his ppl for his own comfort & d rest is history. Wud u refer to late Ojukwu as inspiring or a hero? Wud u dare liken him to gracious Nelson Mandela?
So my S.E brother just 4get it cos our dear Nigeria has endured alot & has nw become even stronger, more sophisticated. We r all gud together, all we need is love for our neighbours & 9ja will be formidable! after all these long Epistle .....the summary iis that your just daft and made no sense you must be a sophisticated one from the (g)host tribe |

Food › Re: D Reason Y Igbo And Calabar Women Neva Believe Dat Yoruba Wowen Knws How 2 Cook by tonychristopher: 10:49pm On Jul 17, 2015 |
MoNickk: I beg to differ on this one...my dad is ibo,mum from akwa ibom and I was born n bred in lagos state. I have heard so many people say yoruba women can't cook and I don't agree. They have this peculiar way of cooking that deals with the taste buds. eg. .. Their buka stew which is peculiar to them, ewedu and many other foods I can't begin to list here. Akwa ibom and igbo women believe so much in ingredients. you would see so many obstacles in their soups, stock fish, dry fish and crayfish have different flavors hence the need for less Maggi. I know of an akwa ibom woman who uses 10 cubes and more to cook soup tho. This kinda stereotype is just bad for the world... you might be right but I know that most Yoruba women don't know how to cook ....I live in Lagos and before I ear out I ensure it is either Igbo or calabar it's in Lagos that I see a woman using sugar to cook yam...too much oil and chilli in their food and their stew don't dry well take a survey go to Igbo restaurant or calabar you will see a whole lot of yorubas trouping but in a Yoruba hotel few Igbo or cakabar eat their but in terms of moi moi give it to Yoruba next is that Yoruba don't roast their meat after butchering them they just scrape and it doesn't give the meat that taste |

They went home with $10 000 cash prize
The competition challenges girls from the ages of 10 to 18 to build a mobile app that will address a community problem and submit it in the elementary or high school category.
“We first met in high school as classmates and met again at the iKapture Afterschool Academy where we decided to take up the challenge of programming for the first time. Despite our diverse backgrounds, we have dedicated ourselves to doing this project because of our collective interest in creating positive change in our communities” the girls wrote on their blog.
Team Charis used the MIT App Inventor platform to create the Discardious Android app. Congrats to them
