maxiipriestt: literarymathy, you have your story all stolen from my people the itsekiri. i'm itsekiri from koko and firstly, warri is not indigenously your town. the name "warri" is a corrupted form of a word in itsekiri "IWERE", meaning it's the way it is, translated literarily. you called other towns like sapele and a couple others and claim them for the urhobos, but incidentally, history tells us that sapele is an itsekiri town which was a hub for economic activity with the early itsekiri traders who traded with the west and who employed urhobo workers as slaves. and sapele was given up as a bargaining chip by Nanna Olomu to make peace with a warlord because of a breach in terms of agreement for a certain battle price. the soup which you made mention of "owo" is an itsekiri soup and owo is actually a borrowed word from us mister... i can pick out a myriad of false claims which i won't acquiesce to. warri is the ancestral home of the itsekiri people and we only conceded territory to your people because you have a healthy population there due to your high rate of proliferation, and your persistent clamouring for a stake in the city. well, i can understand where you are coming from because the urhobos and ijaw people have been slaves to us for too long and are out against us trying to carry out a vendetta, but it's not really the answer to anything. and you didn't mention the native attire which i saw in your pictures showing you wearing our "kemeje", would you say that that is indigenously yours too? and to stake more leverage on what i've said so far, we are a singular tribe without mixed dialects, probably the only tribe in nigeria which speak a singular dialect and who have just one singular king and not multiple kings. we have chiefs who report to our king, the Olu of Warri. so there are a lot of flaws and false claims about your heritage which i vehemently dispute. also, we have had a long running history with the benin people and our monarchs are intertwined with each other and we've both been the main custodians of the southern region of nigeria from the days when our history was been written. it's really not fair making erroneous remarks and statements because people who don't know the truth would be misled and made to think that this you've put up there is the case, whereas it's not. so please kindly do yourself a favour and get to know your history and people and don't get it mixed up. BUT ITSHEKIRI ARE MIGRANTS FROM MY EXPERIENCE IN WARRI, AND IF ITSHEKIRI OWNS WARRI WHY IS THE LINGUA FRANCA IN WARRI URHOBO. I DOUBT THE SLAVE THING DID ITSHEKIRI WIN URHOBO IN ANY WAR AND WERE THEY COLONISED PLS CLARIFY |

babestella: Fashola was a man I respected so much and I like him a lot. But he lost it the day he deported NIGERIANS within the nigerian state claiming they are destitute. Fashola, a legal luminary who knows the law and with all his SAN violated the fundamental human right of NIGERIANS and was never repentant about it even when he was criticized by the public.
What's more grave? Dropping off these people on the middle of the night was above board. What if something bad happened to these people? I think that those deported whether IGBO or not deserve more an an apology from the state government because it is a gross and callous violation of the fundamental human right of a nigerian. Whether rich or poor, NIGERIANS are free to live anywhere they so wish to live.
If Fashola can do this to NIGERIANS how do you expect other countries to treat NIGERIANS in their country.
The deed is already done and I simply think the IGBOs now know better. DROPING PEOPLE IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT WAS COWARDICE AND THA IS WHAT HE SHOWED |

Romance › How To Know That She Is Screwing Your Friend!!! by tonychristopher(op): 3:51pm On Feb 09, 2015 |
You have started to notice subtle signs of change in your girlfriend or wife and you wonder whether she’s cheating on you or not. At the same time, you would not like to face the fact that your partner has been unfaithful towards you and has been seeing someone else, right under your nose. It can both be shattering and agonizing. Below are some tell tale indications of a cheating woman. If she is displaying any or most of these signs, then chances are you might be in a relationship with a cheating partner. She spends a lot of time “working”
Unless she’s looking forward for a promotion or has had one which has dramatically changed her work schedules, there’s no reason for her spending most of the day in office. Yeah she could be an ambitious person but coming home at 3 in the morning or not answering you calls and not even reverting on them is bound to sow the seeds of suspicion. She smells of a men cologne that you don’t wear
She smells different… of some men cologne that’s certainly not yours. She couldn’t have developed a fancy of applying a men cologne herself! If you smell another man’s cologne on her clothes, hands or neck, then she may be planting her lips where she shouldn’t. Watch out.
Your Sex Life… Well… What Sex Life?
This should ring a bell because a major warning sign of a cheating woman is when she doesn’t want to have sex with you and is not even sexually aroused by you anymore. Dating a sexually subdued woman can be deflating for man’s ego. But what makes the situation worse is if she goes from wanting sex all the time to giving you the cold shoulder all the time. Perhaps her lack of sexual desire mean that her needs are being satisfied by another guy. She’s suddenly on a self grooming spree
She has a new wardrobe; she’s hitting the gym regularly and is eating healthy. She might be looking to improve her health and lifestyle or she might be doing the extra laps for you. But if she gets home from the gym, showers and runs out (without telling you where she’s off to), then something is up.
She can’t stop talking about a male pal
Although if she’s into the other guy, she will keep her lips sealed about the other guy. But if she’s just entered a new relationship or just has started to like that person, she’d be talking a lot about that person on any or every context. She gets defensive about herself
She thinks that you are out to get her when you are genuinely clueless about her cheating ways. She snaps at you when you just ask her innocent questions. When and if she answers calls, she reacts awkwardly, and refuses to give a straight to any question you ask regarding her whereabouts.
It is unimaginable to even think that you person you loved and trusted has been cheating on you. Don’t jump on to conclusions, after all these are just signs. Look at the bigger picture. Try to get some definitive proof of her cheating on you (you will need them while as a back up).
Most importantly- be mature, wise and careful. You don’t want to screw your lasting relationship with jealousy and paranoia, do you? |

literarymathy: I will create a thread to answer this question soon. I'd be sure to mention u there. For now, think of warri as a no man's land. Everyone in Warri Is a migrant. However the real question is who's the oldest and who has more influence.? However, the itsekiris claim warri to be their traditional home. Urhobos and Ijaws do not agree. I will resolve this in a post worthy of being in the front page tomorrow. This is the best answer i have heard in ages and mind you, some people hate to think that there land is no man land evwen with large evidence of migration like lagos. but that is another story Now if you head towards pesu waterside it is ijaw area, now towards NNPC ekpan and environs it is Itshekiri now towards Garage and that church GKS it is more of urhobo I think that warri is like jerulasem where we have isreal and palestine having stake...but i feel for there to be OLU OF WARRI nad no OVIE of WARRI then it is an itshekiri town the way we have emir of ilorin which make ilorin a fulani town though with yoruba subjects I lived in warri, In loved that town and my very good urhobo friend like Gite, Ejaita, my sexy Itshekiri babe Jelomi etc. I missed that town just te crisis made me and business to re locate I think that there should be a way to resolve this issue WARRI IS A FUN PLACE TO BE, I REFINED MY PIDGIN ENGLISH THERE AND LEARN TO EAT KPOKPO GARRI...I THINK THAT IS URHOBO THING then another question is why do isoko and urhobo say they are nt same. to us non indegenes we see them as the same just like isan and benin so is ika and igbo I love that town can you please educate me more on the differences between urhobo and isoko, maybe i cant see any but you can see some thanks |

deletrue: You dey mind them? The Urhobos are the originators of DEV (DEVE) popularly called developmet that has spread all over the country. Their youths as well as the earlderly are highly indesciple and lazy. The Urhobo youths can beat up a senior man/woman of their grand parents age. Very desrespectiful people. They do not like working. They move about through all the corners of the towns abi cities in Delta, especially in Warri, looking for any person who is developing any landed property and within the shortest time, they can injure and even kill if you question them as to why you will pay them money for erecting a personal building etc. while the Ijaws are busy orgnising evil in the riverine. BTW, from which state did kidnapping and sea pirates started from? This has made Warri highly backward. They are the most cunny class of people in the Nigeria. They are the only people you can never trust. They organise many robbery cases in Delta state. There is no way you can plan with an Urhobo man and get a true result as agreed. They are worst than the tortose. Very crookish and highly unrealiable class of people. The first robbery cases in Nigeria were recorded in Urhobo land. You have individual like Chief Omoko, you have Mosheshe who dealt with the first europeans, who visited Nigeria on trade missions. You also have have Edewor and many others who are very wealthy who formed partnership with the whites in trade mission and organise against them and drive them back home land and take over all the investments. Small boys, what do you of the Urhobos? All these are true stories because I worked there for many years before I left If talk again, I will hit at you times five of the above |

I notice something here
Every Yoruba is claiming Lagos now the real owners egun and isale will claim what
What happened to those rusty Yoruba hamlets like Ife Ibadan and Okitipupa....
Lagos is not Yoruba it is egun and isale they have made it clear they are not Yoruba even ijebu said also
Now have the Yoruba given up on their taken territories like Ilorin Offa and those okun areas
Why Lagos this
Lagos is developed by the whole Nigeria especially the oil from Niger Delta and east so you have them to thank. Do not be ingrates
Cocoa can't build a two mile road so this was seen and visible in Ibadan and Abeokuta
Now the case of PVC ...hmmmn this is the Lagos crowd again
A repeat of 60s
Dont let us toe that path again ...it will be terrible
The battle front will be shifted now . There are people that has mastered the act of modern warfare and they are SE SS So let us be very careful of what we say here
There is power is social media
I am just warning
I listened to classic FM anchored by jimi disu that guy was just unprofessional. People keep calling telling him that this is a situation that is in ifelodun local govt he swept it under the carpet
Hmmmm
I am seeing colleteral damage here
Tomorrow gwari people will claim they built Abuja
I laugh at people
If you are great builders of cities replicate Lagos in Ibadan or Okitipupa |

isonlagba: Arising from an emergency meeting of party stalwarts in the wee hours of today, the APC has denounced the postponement of the Feb 14 polls saying that ''the PDP and INEC were acting out a well-rehearsed script written in Aso Rock.'' According to the party, the rescheduled elections, if indeed it holds, will lack credibility and will only rubber stamp the continuity of Jonathan's government. The APC insists on February 14 as sacrosanct and will not be a party to any change that will set the nation ablaze.
The decision has therefore been taken to boycott the elections in its entirety and leave Jonathan and the PDP to perpetuate itself in power, bringing the nation to its knees. Although it is not clear yet, which of the elections it wants to boycott. The party has calls on other parties to boycott the rescheduled polls. Details are still sketchy, but there are strong indications that a parallel government is being considered.
Which way Nigeria? They should just go to hell and possibly burn |
