KnightsTemplar: At least you have a laptop..anyway, I guess your optical drive or the Win xp cd is bad, hence the reason it is being bypassed by the BIOS. Try to access your BIOS and see if your BIOS detects your optical drive, if it does, change your first Boot priority to your optical drive and save. The restarting may be as a result of corrupt OS. Best of luck.

i must thank you for your very fast response. But the system does not even finish booting before it restarts again. How then can i access my BIOS? Your helpful response will be highly appreciated.

If you ask me, i will say GEJ has made some wrong calls that make his defence somewhat porous against opposition.
1. Handling of the oduah's case.
2. I dont think he can ever convince anyone that he has no hand in the Rivers State issues; neither can his wife.
3. Purchasing 34 million naira worth of animals at a time like this;thereby giving opposition something more to hold onto.
4. His paley with Asari Dokubo despite the later's recent unguaded utterances.

But be that as it may, i am enjoying somewhat steady power supply in my area at ilorin; at least 10 hrs per day. Thanks to GEJ and his PHCN privatization.

Pls i need help!

My P3 (don't laugh at me) dell laptop restarts over and over again. When i put it on, it opens the Dell page and then ask me to select among "safe mode", "last best configuration" and "open windows normally". When i make my selection, it opens the Windows page. While on the Windows page, it restarts all over. Someone said it might be virus infection; so i bought new windows installation disc (service pack 2) and tried to reformat it. While the Dell page was opening, i pressed F12 to open the boot menu. I selected the CD/DVD... option and enter. But the system doesn't seem to recognize the command. Instead, it continues to restart like before. Pls what can i do? Pls dont tell me to buy a new one. If i have the money for another laptop, i won't be asking this question. i guess too many things are already known about asiwaju political congress and they give an insight into what to expect if they ever win.
1. Asiwaju's toronto (fraud) university certificate.
2. Big time corruption during asiwaju's tenure that he was questioned by EFCC.
3. He travelled abroad to treat knee injury telling us he failed to develop lagos health sector as governor.
4. Buhari's untrustworthy and scary religious inclinations
5. APC's romance with nPDP G7, most of whom are non performers in their states (gov ahmed of kwara a good example).
6. APC's association with Ngige, a man who stole a mandate 10 years ago.

But PDP too doesnt fair well. I dont understand why the president is covering up corruption (stella oduah as good example). GEJ threathened Amechi (a political enemy) with EFCC, but failed to do same with corrupt Dickson (an ally). He also failed to caution his wife;casting aspersions on his leadership capabilities.

But what is the assurance that Buhari (if he eventually emerges as APC's candidate) can fair better if he becomes president? He may be able to control his wife (islamic law things), but will he actually be able to fight corruption? Tinubu is corrupt no doubt. Will buhari ever get asiwaju to return his loots? What of the thiefing G7 who may finally join APC; will buhari be able to curb their corrupt mindedness? APC is just thinking of numbers and not the quality of people they are working with.

But a Buhari presidency may give them victory in that area....calling to mind Buhari's unchecked comments against christianity in 2007 (one of the factors that contributed to his defeat at the polls in 2007 and 2011). Since the boko haram palaver, buhari had failed to clear doubts about his link with the terorist group.

I dont care what my fellow yorubas say about mt submission. Igbos are gifted technology wise. The civil war was an eye opener. They were able to keep the federal might at bay for two and a half years; mainly depending on local technology. One of such civil war inspired technology was ogbunigwe; the home made bomb that dealt the nigerian army a deadly blow at the nsukka front and several other fronts. I wondee why igbos are yet to help transform nigeria technologically all these years. Or are you guys waiting for Biafra?
