Oga, I am from Anambra State. Simple!

Every community in Anambra has access road, Obi did it. Every community has functioning street light on those roads Obiano did it. I said every community not every local government. So people who don't know Anambra can't tell me about Anambra

So are you suggesting that all the 300+ comments on that thread in 2012 were lies? They all said Peter Obi did nothing... these are ordinary Anambra citizens who had nothing to gain or lose by speaking the truth.

There were no elections at the time so there was nothing at stake. Why would over 300+ people lie against Peter Obi.

Go and verify.

Well, internet never forgets.

Expect more dirts about the candidates

He says that to impress the gullible, because he know they wouldn't attempt to verify. And when we verify, his supporters accuse us of witch-hunting and try to change the narrative to other candidates.

You have asked us to verify and we have verified. Why do they always complain.

The truth is 80% of Igbos know that Peter Obi is a big frau.d... They are only supporting him in the spirit of "it's our turn". I only pity the young innocent and docile ones from other tribes (especially some Yorubas) that have high expectations from the man.

This is the truest statement I have read this year on Nigeria. Some of these people who rubbished his performance 10 years ago are now Obidients. They know the truth but want the Presidency by all means, so that they can use IPOB to intimidate other tribes. That is the grand plan. That is the reason why they target the young and the naïve. People who were too young to remember when Obi was a failed governor.

Some Yoruba youth have also joined because they are forming woke and think this is another ENDSARS. This is not another ENDSARS; there is a clear agenda here by the Igbo to forcefully take the presidency and intimidate other tribes.

Are the people posting that rubbish from Anambra truly?

This was posted in 2012; six years into Peter Obi's tenure. There was nothing at stake. He was not running for president or vice president. A concerned Anambra citizen just created a thread to discuss the degradation going on in his state, and everyone that commented said the plain truth. They all live in Anambra and they could not believe how bad Peter Obi was.

Now that he is running for president, he can lie about records that are not there. The real Anambra people know the truth about Peter Obi. Even his best friend and successor disowned his lies. He ended up being impeached at some point and it is obvious he was impeached over non-performance. The thread alone is enough evidence that Obi was impeached for non-performance.

This desperation is becoming shameful

Is Peter obi the only man contesting for the office of the president ?

Why is Tinubu and his foolish slaves afraid of Peter Obi and his ever growing popularity and general acceptance by the Nigerian people ?

Why are you bringing Tinubu into this. This is about what ordinary Anambra citizens said about Peter Obi, midway into his second term. And you can verify they were concerned Anambra citizens with the specific examples they gave. Why can't you defend your candidate? All you can do is insult other candidates. Is it because your candidate has no record to run on?

6 years into his tenure and everyone unanimously said, he had done nothing. Is that the man you want to foist on the rest of us? Your target are the very young and the naive, but we the older ones will not let you deceive them easily.

Peter Obi and his supporters are known for saying "Go and Verify". However, we have dug out a thread created by an Anambra citizen in 2012, questioning what Peter Obi was doing in Anambra State. This is 6 years after he became governor, and almost everyone that commented at the time concluded he had done absolutely nothing in 6 years. Most Obidients were in primary school when Peter Obi was governor so they have no recollection of what his performance was like. The thread was 10 pages long and you could hardly see anyone say something good about Peter Obi. Coincidentally, some of these monikers are still active on Nairaland and saying something different. The link to the thread is below

https://www.nairaland.com/870945/what-exactly-peter-obi-doing

I will share the first 12 comments verbatim and none was positive. Seun, Mynd44, Lalasticlala, please help push to frontpage. It is important people know the truth. I am sure if this was about Tinubu it would have made frontpage already, so you guys need to be balanced in your frontpage posting.

Chuksidem said "What exactly is peter obi doing in Anambra state? Am confused to say the least, please someone should tell me because the anambra i visited has degenerated so much"

MrGlobe said "Nothing exactly my brother. I posted a thread earlier comparing him with Theodore orji of Abia state and everybody agreed he is worse. I went to Awka the capital and it was an eyesore. No roads, no planning, no infrastructure etc. There is absolutely no govt in anambra state"

Kobojunkie said "@Poster, he is doing exactly what the people elected him to come do again. I mean for a man with meagre list of accomplishments during his first time, why else would he had been re-elected if not to continue the same??"

Chuksidem said "Was in Awka some days back, its really shameful, my heart bleeds for my state, from amansea to awka is still the same, pothole riddled roads,non-functioning street lights, refuse littering the entire state capital from arroma junction down to Ziks avenue, ,arthur eze, unizik junction, court road, udoka housing estate etc are still the same, no changes at all, the state capital still looks like a glorified village.
Civil servants and pensioners are been owed 3MONTHS salary, so many abandoned projects yet the woman sounding governor is always in abuja 24/7. Please peter obi's handlers on nl should please enlighten us. A state that has the highest number of successful human beings in the entire black nation, it hurts. Wish soludo had won.

Deactivated Account said "I have had cause to pass through Onitsha and Awka (even spending a night in the former), and all I could do was shake my head."

PROUDIGBO said "We have not been too bright (putting it mildly) in electing Sons/Daughters into public office that have the vision, zeal and mental capacity to take their respective constituencies to a higher enviable level. Of the five states in the South East, i can honestly say (and i'm entitled to my opinion) that i have a positive feeling for the state leadership in only two (Imo and Enugu), and i'm sure any nuetral observer will agree with me. The rest states just seem to have clueless gov'ts that haven't got the faintest idea how to manage and bring out the best in their people/resources. They seem to have no vision on where to take their states and it seems they ran for office just to be called 'Your Excellency'. Also, our representatives in Assembly and Federal Gov't seem to be there just for what they can get out it, and it seems they're afraid to take the President to task on promises yet unfulfilled: like the Onitsha River Port that we were told would be commissioned in Oct' last year. Yet you hear of private and gov't projects being planned and commissioned almost on a fortnightly basis in other regions. One of our problems seems to be the fact we don't have a 'leader'; someone that can knock heads together, tell it as it is and get things done; someone that would enable us think and speak with one voice, with everyone pulling in one direction."

Joeyfire said "Anambra state is suffering because Peter Obi is busy with his day job as GEJ's Personal Assistant. Despite his boy -boy work in abuja, he has not been able to attract anything meaningful to the state from the centre. Anambra has suffered terrible, corrupt, clueless and backward leadership since back when. Besides the brief spark of Ngige there's been nobody else to write home about. From Mbadinuju, Andy Ubah to Peter Obi. I am hearing that the next person who will likely take over is Ifeanyi Uba of Capital Oil cry cry. We don suffer o!"

Ifyalways said "Peter Obi can best be described as a curse and bad omen to Anambarians. When would his tenure evem expire?Oh jees, what a wicked, visionless man."

Deactivated account said "I never expected much from a man whose voice rattles like a teenage lady's."

BashMe1 said "Na foolish Man now. During the tym of the removal of subsidy, he appeared the first Gov'nor to promise his ppl the great reward to attain from such federal move and urged them to go about their various biz. Inspite of the fact that nuffin is being done yet as a result of the so called REMOVAL, i still see him not doing a good thing till the end of his tenure. Shake Ma Head in despair"

Chookym said "The guy is just there making his pocket full. I pity my state. why do they have to vote him the second time. I read an article recently of his shady deals. Our people no dey represent us at all"

Speeder said "I'm an Anambra indigene. Road construction has been zero all d way except for d one he's recently constructing at Onitsha. But most Anambras have an undoubting faith in him cos he signifies a sense of unity among d people. He has achieved alot in his administration among which are: he constructed over 500 borewholes in d state, he gave over 250 wheel chairs to d disabled, he alway attend any cultural activities organised by any locals wit their uniform on( this d major reason he is been loved by d people) and anmbra is d state wit d largest road network. To me i won't say he hasn't achieved anything but i'm yet to see any of his achievement that i would b proud of."

SamMilla1 said "Coincidentally, i asked myself the same question while driving back from Enugu to Onitsha this afternoon, 'what exactly is peter obi doing in anambra state'. I always divert at abba junction on my way from enugu and drove through a smooth single lane road constructed by ngige all the way nkpor and then down to obosi and awada where i stay. All the good roads in the whole state were constructed by ngige before they court-pulled him down and installed a greedy business man. Now his grand beer and malt are booming. While his state is deoriating.

Siobahn said "He's a media governor that blows his own trumpet even when it's obvious that he hasn't done anything, puts up billboard that he's the best governor in the country. Useless man! When i visited Awka, i wept"

Forkadict said "THE FORKING THING I DONT UNDERSTAND IS DURING THE FIRST TENURE, HE GOT INTO OFFICE THROUGH THE COURTS. BEFORE THEN, NGIGE WAS GOVERNOR AND ACCORDING TO PEOPLE'S ACCOUNTS (COS I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO ANAMBRA) NGIGE HAD SOME ACHIEVEMENTS. OBI WASTED ANAMBRAN'S TIME AND RECOURCES DURING HIS FIRST TENURE AND YET THEY VOTED HIM IN FOR A SECOND TENURE?!"

Coenvict said "Peter is d worst governor n history so far as am conscine, can imagine ANSU payn such ransome as skul fee hw wil even d average man pay such ransome dat man is very wicked nd I can tell him dat his death is comin soon. It going to 8yrs of his tenure yet LGA electn hav not been conducted while he at his campagn n his 1st tenure to conduct dat witin 3months if electd, no road no water no light no infractructure no develpmnt bcus of 1 man been so selfish decievn d peopl wit propaganda. For me Tinubu has demonstrated his inability to appreciate the peculiar nature of Nigeria as a Nation. The M/M ticket goes beyond electing leaders, it is about signals that it sends to Jihadist and those elements that are trying hard to divide Nigeria along religious lines. That decision has provided oxygen to keep religion cries burning. It is very sad.
Shettima was picked not for competent but for politics and let no one thinks anybody is happy with this. BAT intension is to secure the Presidency through the religion channel, again its sad very sad. Whether Tinubu wins this election or not, he has done severer damage to this Nation.
By the way I'm Yoruba

But electing Peter Obi will not provide oxygen to IPOB abi. Most of Peter Obi supporters were once IPOB supporters so are we not giving oxygen to separationists by electing Peter Obi. We are providing oxygen to them. Is that what you really want? To have another civil war? Do you want IPOB to take over your house? How can you support an IPOB candidate?

And this is a country where APC is fronting a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket. God forbid! Those of you supporting the ticket today because it favours you should endeavour to do so when it's the other way round.

I say no to Muslim terrorist-terrorist ticket.

In a muslim country, both the president and vice would be muslims.

In a christian country, both the president and vice would be christians.

In a muslim-christian country, the president and vice would always be shared by both religion.

APC is an Islamic party that plans to turn Nigeria to a muslim country, a country that is owned by muslims and muslims are first class citizens.

So you have the guts to call Muslims terrorists and you think Northerners will vote for your IPOB Peter Obi. I wonder how you people even think. You have the smallest population of the major tribes but na una go dey abuse everyone else.

So you really think all Muslims are terrorists but your Datti Ahmed is not a terrorist. Shame on you all. No sane noetherner will vote for your IPOB candidate

That is the real issue. They have some of the worst governors in Nigeria. If you cannot vote a competent Muslim/Muslim ticket, then I will also not vote an Igbo man.

We have said tribe and religion should not be a factor in 2023. So let us forget about religion and not make it an issue. If you make religion an issue, then I will also agree with Kwankwaso that we cannot trust an Igbo man.

I have watched how a segment of the country has continued to cry out over the nomination of Kashim Shetimma as Tinubu's running mate.

These same people have said continually that 2023 is about competence and not tribe. So Yorubas and everyone else should vote for Peter Obi because he is supposedly competent. But when it comes to religion, we should forget about competence and vote our religion abi.

KASHIM SHETIMMA is eminently qualified to be Vice President. He has been a Governor and now Distinguished Senator, so he is competent. Should we now sacrifice him because of religion? If the answer is yes, then no Hausa or Yoruba should vote Peter Obi. After all all Igbos are going to vote Obi, so let everyone vote their own tribe.

You can't tell me to vote competence over tribe but vote religion over competence. It does not add up. These Peter Obi supporters think everyone else is a fool but they are only deceiving themselves.

Thanksful:

When you submit your VC for any post. The first criteria is your age.

Microsoft or any multinational will accept Tinubu or Atiku at their age. Because no matter how intelligent you are, at a certain age your brain start going retard. Tinubu is showing such signs. I watched one of his clip where is was " Brom brooom bromm Brom." His mental capacity can't keep up with the pace of things in our time. His time is in the past. Atiku is old but more agile than Tinubu. Yet no big company can let him lead them due to his age.

You talked about managing similar economy. Before any of them managed your imaginery big economy, which did they manage earlier?

When Tinubu was governor of Lagos state. Lagos state wasn't up to 8 million in population even with all the distortion. Please go and verify. I don't know where you can about the 25 million we managed.

Talking about the 5th largest economy in Africa. When Tinubu was governor of Lagos state, her budget wasn't up to 100 billion naira. Convert that in dollars. That is the budget small boys presides over in come company and much more at their first shot at leadership.

Tinubu has put many in leadership position in the country. That's true. Considering their performance in Buhari's government, these mentes are worth the accolades? Almost all of them including the overhyped Fashola are abysmal failures. Obi doesn't believe in godfatherism, that's while he let Obino do his thing.

Everyone can fit into current culture except Obi. How laughable! A good business man of which Obi represent can fit into any culture. That's the reason people say anywhere you go, you no see Igbo man. Man you run comot.

Since you didn't take the most vital criteria of employment into consideration. I doubt your claim that you hire senior executives.

Thanks for your response. You mention age as the most important thing. Age is used to discriminate in Nigeria because of the huge unemployment rate. In most Western countries, you are not allowed to discriminate based on age. Infact, people don't write age on their resume. What is most important is whether or not you can do the job. Microsoft will not discriminate based on age. The retirement age in the Nigerian civil service is 60 and all four leading candidates are over 60. There is no age limits for presidents in Nigeria or not in any other country. Do you know Joe Biden's age, Donald Trump's age, Hillary Clinton's age when she last contested? What is important are health records and mental capacity to do the job.

Between Tinubu and Peter Obi, who has managed a bigger economy? Who has managed a more diverse economy and more diverse population? I ask you why has there been an influx of people to Lagos especially people from the South East including Anambra? Would that be a result of a poorly managed Lagos. Even if Lagos is not greatly managed it has been better managed than places where these guys are migrating from. And please don't use former capital as an excuse, all the migration came after Lagos stopped being capital and it has been in more recent years. Lagos stopped being the capital since 1991 and mind you, Governors like Donald Duke transformed their states even thought they are capital either.

Let me give you just one. Forget about three, that will lead to arguments. The number one problem facing us is the design and structure of the country. We all blame leadership which is correct, but the kind leaders we have is a result of the structural design of the country. If you change the structure of the country, a different kind of leaders will emerge because they will be rewarded differently.

So I ask you again, who will you hire to be the CEO of your company and based on what criteria?

Your number 3, hope you know that the majority of the problems we are facing now are all caused by Buhari and not be National Assembly or even your state governors. Hike in food price, insecurity, Naira becoming worthless daily are issues that a president can tackle without going through the national assembly? When we imported bad fuel, did it go through the National Assembly before it was imported? No! So yes, if things can go bad under Buhari without the NASS input, things can also become better under Peter Obi without Labour Party having a single seat in the NASS.

The date of the paper was Feb 28 2012. The strike was from Jan 2011 to Feb 2012. Peter Obi was governor from 2006 to 2014.

if these same people choosing atiku and tinubu over peter obi were asked to choose from the three candidates who should run their organization supposing they had one, over 99 percent of them would go for peter obi . Why do they bring in sentiments when it comes to matters of governance which affects us collectively ?

It is interesting you bring this up. I hire senior people everyday and you need to understand the criteria for hiring leaders. So let's say you want to hire the CEO of an organisation with 10,000 staff. The organisation is huge, with branches across Africa, and with very senior people who are also very well paid. If you are interviewing for a new CEO, the first thing you ask is this question- HAVE YOU EVER MANAGED A LARGE ORGANISATION BEFORE IN MULTIPLE COUNTRIES?

Of course the ideal cadidate does not necessarily have to have managed an organisation with 10,000 people in multiple countries, but you will expect the person to have managed an organisation with 500 people and should have had exposure to other African countries. You will not hand over the company to an individual who has only managed a shop of 20 people because he interviewed well.

The second question you want to ask is his ability to develop and manage leaders. When you have such big organisations, one man cannot handle all the tasks. He will rely of leaders and he must be able to manage them. He needs to be able to chose his team of winners whom he will delegate responsibility to. He is not expected to do everything by himself. So I want to know and understand the candidates ability to select and manage leaders within the organisation.

The third thing will be his understanding of our values and culture. Can he fit into the culture. Can he manage the various stakeholders. Will he be accepted across board. Will majority of the people buy into his vision. He must be able to fit into our company culture and can he change the current culture, because the current culture needs improvement.

Let me stop here and let us rate the candidates on these criteria. The company is Nigeria, a country with 200million people, very diverse population and the largest economy in Africa. Lets rank the candidates.

Criteria 1 - Has the candidate managed a similar sized country?
- Tinubu has managed the 5th largest economy in Africa, very diverse population and 25million people.
- Kwankwaso has managed the second largest State by population 20million, very diverse and the fifth largest economy in Nigeria
- Peter Obi has managed a relatively small State (5million people), non-diverse population and very small economy.
- Atiku has been Vice the President of the same country for 8 years. Atiku had effectively been the deputy CEO running the affairs of the country with the CEO.

Criteria 2- Ability to select, develop and manage people. Let us rank the candidates
-Tinubu has managed and developed several people to become governors, ministers, senators and even the sitting vice president.
- Atiku has developed many people including the governor of His state. He has also developed many people who have gone to become senators and reps.
- Kwankwaso has associates in many areas and positions. However, he has not mentored big names.
- Peter Obi has not mentioned any known big name. Has very few associates within the country.

3. Criteria 3- how will they fit into the culture of the company and can they influence stakeholders. This may be a bit tricky because we are also trying to change culture:
- Tinubu will fit into the current culture and can adequately manage stakeholders. He is open to changing some parts of our current culture include restructuring, devolution of powers, state police, vat collection.
- Kwankwaso will fit into the current structure and will likely maintain the structure as is. He may struggle to manage the various stakeholders due to his limited acceptability in the South.
- Atiku will fit into the current culture but may change a few things like privatisation. He may privatise NNPC, NLNG etc. He is not open to restructuring. He can easily manage the various stakeholders.
-Peter Obi will struggle to manage the various stakeholders due to his limited acceptability in the North. He has said he plans to change the culture and that the culture is our biggest problem but he hasn't explained in detail how. What are his views on restructuring state police, vat collection, devolution of powers.

So I ask you, based on my analysis, who will you chose to be CEO of you company called Nigeria. Be honest. You are free to come up with tour own analysis.

obailala:
The answers to your questions are very simple...

Atiku still remains a thief; that fact hasn't changed to date. The reason most people overlooked his tainted record and supported him in 2019 was because he stood tall as a better alternative to the main contender and president at the time Buhari. Elections are a game of choice between 2 or more people; when the electorate is faced with 2 or more bad choices, they go with who they perceive as a lesser evil (which is what Atiku was in 2019). But in 2023, with Mr Obi now in the race, Atiku no longer stands as the lesser evil. Your boy did no wrong by selling Atiku in 2019 and switching to an even lesser evil in 2023.

Anyone who understands Nigeria's political space knows that both APC and PDP, and even Labour party are all the same. Nigeria's democracy isnt mature enough to accommodate independent candidates so for a good and credible candidate to run for office, he/she still needs a political vehicle and has no choice than to settle for one of the already polluted parties.

Given these circumstances, the only thing that matters and should be focused upon is the pedigree/reputation/credibility of the candidate themselves, and not the party (except of course we just want to deceive ourselves). The very fact that Mr Obi bluntly refused to be a party to the corrupt dollar bazaar in PDP, and even took a bold step to leave a most promising platform to go into the wilderness, that already speaks volumes on his credibility.

Let him win the election first! Then Nigerians will get to understand that the the greatest structure is the PEOPLE; if the masses can be behind a leader, that is the strongest structure any leader can ever have. If Obi as president wants to do something which the people genuinely adjudge to be good, as long as the PEOPLE are behind him, the NASS would be too scared to stand against him.

Now this isnt just some theoretical hypothesis crap, this is something Mr Obi has clearly experienced before and is currently experienced in handling. Mr Obi was impeached twice as governor for refusing to share money to party and house of assembly members. But guess what? Each time the PEOPLE stood by him, he came back stronger.

And should he choose in the future to decamp to whatever party he chooses, that to me (and to every enlightened Nigerian who understands our political space) does not define the man.

You answer has been adjudged the best by most people and I agree that it is by far the best answer so far. So my responses are as follows:

1. There were more than two candidates in 2019, so we did not have to vote a lesser evil. The same people that voted Atiku in 2019 now portray him as very evil. You are portraying Peter Obi as a lesser evil, so you also accept he is a flawed candidate but may be better than Tinubu, Atiku and Kwankwaso. Okay, that is your opinion. You also say the parties are all the same which I agree with totally.

2. You mentioned Peter Obi left PDP, because he didn't want to be part of the dollarisation. This I completely disagree with. Atiku bought the 2019 PDP ticket by sharing the most dollars. We all saw this, yet Peter Obi agreed to be his running mate. Are you saying Peter Obi did not know Atiku shared dollars in 2019? Even during the main election, both APC and PDP shared money, so what has changed. Peter Obi even stayed behind in PDP and tried to be president under the same platform. Did he expect the dollarisation to suddenly disappear. He only left when Wike used Chris Uba and Uche Ekwenife to take over the Anambra PDP structure from him. At that point he didn't even have anything anymore so he left. So please don't try to paint him as one holy crusader. He is a PDP man, pure and simple, and he has been part of the dollarisation.

3. When you mentioned credibility and pedigree of the candidates, I also believe that includes performance but it is not necessarily performance. But lets focus on performance for a bit. Three of the top four - Peter Obi, Kwankwaso and Tinubu - have been governors of their States. Can you boldly say that Peter Obi was the best governor of those three. Look at their records and achievement, can you honestly say he performed the best out of those three?

Now, please, don't go being dishonest. It is only the people who have no answers for you that have insulted you... about two or three guys up there have responded to you soundly and in a civil manner.

I even find your questions very intelligent and realistic... but when you're going "no one has responded..." when the thread shows otherwise, it makes me question your intention. I hope this gets to the FP too, and I know you'll get more sensible responses. Hopefully, you'll see reasons and won't just be making their fingers dance in typing when you will still continue being a cynic. I mean, is it because you want to know or you just wan find mouth? No wahala sha. Others will read and learn.

grin I have not insulted you too before you will come to paste that tag on my head, and I also cannot give you satisfactory answers...YET. This is my first time being politically active and participating in such discussions, so I'll rather much prefer to observe and learn and read from learned minds, but all I'll just say as it is now is that:

- Obi is a lesser evil of the three
- He's relatively "fresh" out of governance compared to the other two popular ones
- Following his lifestyle and speeches from videos and interviews everywhere, and track records, I am convinced he has something to offer. None of the other candidates do all that or are this much "in the public face," and then still maintaining their white clothes inspite of all the criticism, lens put on him.

And, someone told you that it is a candidate's job to sell himself as he only knows of Buhari and Atiku --- why do you fault that? I don't understand??

I like your responses. First of all there are four popular candidates. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is arguably the most popular Northern politician after Buhari today. The fact that you don't know him in the South and most Northerners don't engage on Social Media does not make him less popular. He came second to Buhari during the APC primaries beating Atiku to third position.

I like the fact that you painted Peter Obi as the lesser evil. So you kinda agree he is also a flawed candidate. But to you, he is just not as bad as the other three. Okay that is your opinion.

You also mention track records. Have you done a comparison of Peter Obi's track record to Tinubu and Kwankwaso's track records? All three were governors, so they can be easily compared. Can you boldly and honestly say that Peter Obi as a governor performed better than Tinubu or Kwankwaso as governors. Are you sure?

And when you say the others don't go making speeches in public like Peter Obi, are you sure they really haven't. These men came into the limelight before Peter Obi and have long expressed where they stand on various issues. Tinubu for the past 11 years has outlined details of his views at the annual colloquim. We know where he stands on issues like restructuring, state policing, vat collection, revenue allocation. We know where Atiku stands on issues like privatisation and state police. Are you sure you know where Obi stands on these issues. Can you tell me where Peter Obi stands on these key national issues?

Yorubas are very tolerant when it comes to religion. Infact Yorubas believe in people being freely able to make their choices. Fashola's wife is also a Christian even though he is a Muslim.

I am Christian. I have first cousins that are Pastors and I also have first cousins that are Alfas, for real. We all eat Christmas meat together just the way we eat Sallah meat together. One love.

Lmao, I have asked these questions, particularly that last one multiple times and they have no answer always.

The only reply they usually have is insults, they think campaign is war when in reality it's not.

So you have been asking and still no responses. As you can see, I have got some insults, someone said he only knows about Atiku and Buhari.

No one has been able to answer these questions. May be the more intelligent Peter Obi supporters are still sleeping as it is still early. Hopefully someone would be able to give us direct responses even if he has to add a few insults.

The people you mentioned are unknown to me. Only Kingsley's name looks familiar but yet his profile is unknown to me. Only Buhari and Atiku that I knew then. I choose the better.

So in 2023, have you researched the other candidates? Or is this another case of - i know only Atiku and Peter Obi, so I vote for Peter Obi.

Who are the other contesting? Do you know them? How are you sure Peter Obi is the best since you know only Peter Obi and Atiku.

I didn't see where you said he called Atiku a thief. You brought that in to stir up emotion. Fine! That's a good card to a typical Nigerian.

I supported Atiku against Buhari not PDP against APC. Because I knew Atiku was better than Buhari in governance. I don't support party, I support party flag bearers.

Should Obi wins the election, many will move from their different party to labour. Moreso, the influence of NASS over the presidency is overrated because of too much ignorance on the part of the citizens.

There are rules of impeachment. You don't just wake up and start up impeachment.

Oh, you claim Atiku was better than Buhari. There were over 20 candidates contesting in 2019. Can you genuinely say Atiku was the best? Can you say Atiku was better than Kingsley Moghalu, Hashim Olawepo, Fela Durotoye. Can you in your heart if hearts say that Atiku was the best that contested. If he wasn't, then why did you still vote for Atiku? Why didn't you vote for a younger candidate who could bring change.

Please answer.

And if all the APC/PDP senators and reps cross to Labour, wouldn't we have the same thing as it is now?

Seun, Mynd44, Lalasticlala please we need someone to answer these questions.

Politics / How I Responded To A Peter Obi Supporter Who Came To Ask For My Support by TooNoisy(f): 8:38am On Jul 02, 2022
So as usual, one relatively young Peter Obi supporters came to ask me to become Obidient. He mentioned that PDP was the same with APC and we cannot vote both of them. He went on to say Atiku and Tinubu were too old and both don't mean well. The usual story. So I reminded him that he asked me to vote for Atiku in 2019, so I wanted to know what has changed. He went on the repeat the same things he started with and he mentioned Obi was the only one who could save Nigeria. So I asked three questions.

1. What if Atiku/Obi had won in 2019. Would he still be saying the same thing. So if Atiku/Obi ticket which he was pushing won in 2019, would he still be calling Atiku a thief and Obi a saint? His only response was that, we thank God that did not happen. So I asked him if he was wrong for pushing the Atiku/Obi ticket in 2019 and he had no answer.

2. I asked him if APC and PDP are that terrible, why should I vote for a man who has been in PDP for the past 7 years and only left a month ago. This same man was PDP vice presidential candidate when Atiku was sharing dollars in 2019 and he still wanted to be president under PDP up until one month ago when he realised he couldn't win. Again, he had no answer.

3. I asked him if Peter Obi miraculously won the election, and the NASS was controlled by APC or PDP. What does he think will happen next? It will be very clear Peter Obi wouldn't get anything done because he will have a very antagonistic NASS. Labour Party does not have candidates in 80% of the NASS positions and will barely get any senators or reps. So if the NASS is controlled by APC/PDP, then Peter Obi will either get impeached or join the APC./PDP. Labour Party has no structure, no representation, it is a one man show. Peter Obi will probably decamp again to PDP or else get impeached. Again he had no answer.

So he agreed to get back to me when he had the answers to these three questions. May be some Peter Obi supporters on Nairaland have answers to these three questions. Lets wait and see.

Dangote is a strong ally of tinubu. But trust Igbos, theyll still call him federal thieves.
Jagaban that is accepted across all cities in the country.

Of cause Dangote is an ally. The silly people keep voting useless governors like Ikpeazu and Ugwuanyi who give then one litre of Kerosene to get their votes during election. Then they blame Tinubu who hasn't been in power for 15 years for their woes.

They are brainless nau! They can't think for themselves!!!

And they will cry blood after Tinubu is declared the winner next year.

I guess they will go back to worshiping Simon Ekpa and Lamidi Kanu. They will begin to scream Biafra and referendum again. Peter Obi will go back to PDP and the cycle will continue.

I pity you.... You are typing in darkness while the candidate you are supporting is chilling in France. He has not even made an interactive session talk more of having any new plans to develop this country. Continue.
I will see 247 power supply in my life time. The only candidate who will make the difference is PO. Vote wisely.... Open your eyes

Tinubu has been discussing his plans for Nigeria for the past 11 years. He has consistently done so at his annual colloquium and has done that in several other fora. And his plans have been very consistent. He has consistently spoken about restructuring, devolution of powers to States, vat to be collected by states, power generation by state governments and state police.

Of course these topics are too complicated for you to understand. You would rather listen to liars who claim they made $30m investments when it was only $12m. Someone who consistently quotes wrong statistics and contradicts himself. I pity you.

My first advice to Tinubu is that when he becomes president, he should ensure half of the Igbos in Lagos go back to Anambra to enjoy the good work Peter Obi did there.

OP why can't you project your deadwood Tinubu and leave Obi alone

This is the same thing you guys do advise or do you lack contents

Yoruba actors who have been supporting Tinubu before you were born, did a video to endorse him. You guys chose to criticise them and call them all sorts of names for supporting their candidate.

But it is okay for PSquare to support Peter Obi. You people think you are smarter than others but you don't even know how silly you guys sound sometimes.
