MajohBankz: The joke is actually on all of you and that is my point. Obi will never demonise Atiku and he can't. The question is how do you his minions go about demonising Atiku and calling him, thief, corrupt, sharing dollars when they ran together. How do you keep criticising PDP and bringing Obi as the solution when the same Obi was in PDP one month ago and has been there for 7 years. That is my point. Obi is no different from Atiku, they all dine together and are currently negotiating. Know that and know peace. Peter Obi is no different from Atiku. He is not a youth, he has corruption cases against him just like Atiku, he has blood on his hands just like Atiku. If we are going to find a candidate that will bring change, it cannot be the person who has been a chieftain of PDP for the past 7 years, who only left one month ago when he couldn't get presidential ticket. That is not the change I am looking for. I will support some new person who does not have the baggage of Atiku or Peter Obi. That is my point! 1 Like |

buckeyemedia: And when did the vision change from PDP's vision. This man was still running for PDP flag bearer upto one month ago and now he is the change agent who is helping to fight PDP. His followers must really think we are silly like them. Peter Obi is a corrupt politician like Atiku... no difference between them. The clamour is just for Igbo presidency. 1 Like 1 Share |

ezegold4we: Stop writing rubbish. You are looking for a change from PDP but you want to vote for a man who had been in the PDP for the past 7 years. You want to vote for a man who was the PDP vice presidential candidate in 2019. You want to vote for a man who was running to be the PDP presidential flag bearer upto one month ago. He only left when he could not win. I see you really want a change from PDP and that is why you are voting for a PDP man through and through. Just call this a clamour for Igbo presidency because that is what it is. Peter Obi is no different from Atiku and you all know it. He is a PDP man. 1 Like 1 Share |

Jlow2: If Atiku was such a looter, why did Peter obi run with him in 2019. If PDP was such a visionless and useless Party, why did Peter Obi stay there for seven years and only left one month ago when it was obvious he was going to be disgraced at the primaries. If Peter Obi had a chance of winning, would he have left? Were you all not singing the praises of PDP just a month ago. Now they are looters. Keep deceiving yourselves there. All you are after is an Igbo presidency. I only pity the small Yoruba youth forming woke and supporting Peter Obi online. But I suspect most of them are just catching cruise and doing it for the likes on Social media. In the end, they will not vote him. 3 Likes 1 Share |

duro4chang: I see a lot of that already. Now they are expecting youths from the North to vote their candidates. They are no longer almajiri and gworo eaters. These same people just two months ago were cursing Amina Yesufu when she said APC and PDP were the same. They cursed her out saying PDP was far better than APC. Now that Peter Obi did not get the ticket, they are now saying APC and PDP are the same. They are only deceiving themselves. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / How Would Peter Obi Debate Atiku by TooNoisy(f): 12:21pm On Jun 18, 2022 |
I would really want to see a debate between Peter Obi of Labour and Atiku AbubKar of PDP. Most of us recall that the two ran together with Atiku as Presidential candidate and Obi as Vice Presidential candidate, just three years ago. They both ran on the platform of PDP. They ran with the same ideology, promises, manifesto and Peter Obi campaigned vigorously for Atiku. Make no mistake; people vote for a president, the Vice President is just like a spare tire. Peter Obi believed in Atiku and Atiku’s vision for Nigeria just three years ago but they lost. As we started 2022, Peter Obi delayed his decision to run but eventually ran because he was pressured to do so. Most people believed he just wanted to be Atiku’s vice again and was never really a serious contender for the party ticket. Obi toured the states under the platform of PDP but did not go to Adamawa in respect for Atiku. When Atiku won the primaries, Obi was one of the first to congratulate Atiku, calling him his leader and elder brother. So how does obi win Atiku in a debate. Atiku has too much on him. 1. Just three years ago he ran under Atiku’s ticket. He believed in Atiku’s dream. Obviously he did not think Atiku was corrupt. He did not think Atiku was sharing dollars. He did not think Atiku or PDP was one of the problems of Nigeria. Rather he believed Atiku was the solution. So what has suddenly changed now? 2. Just one month ago Peter Obi was still a member of PDP. He has spent 7 years in PDP and was Vice Presidential candidate. One month ago he was still going around begging PDP delegates to vote for him. Just one month ago. He even pledged to support the winner of the PDP primaries. How does he then turn around and call them thieves, useless, corrupt etc. Peter Obi’s followers are young and naive, which I understand but Peter Obi himself knows he cannot make those statements publicly. Atiku will destroy Obi in a debate. Even Obi just called Atiku his leader and elder brother two weeks ago. He can’t even publicly talk back at Atiku because he was only hoping to be Atiku’s vice. I will like to see a one on one debate between Atiku and Peter Obi. Atiku will just call him “my boy” 4 Likes 2 Shares |

They don’t need to. Obi will come 4th already. You forgot the elections will not be held on Twitter. No one knows Obi in the north. No one knows him in the south west outside Lagos. Beyond you IPOB clowns, no one takes his candidacy seriously. He can’t even get a Northern running mate cos there is no reputable northerner in his party. He will get less that 2 million votes and win only 3 States. He wouldn’t even win Ebonyi. 1 Like |

He has no momentum. Its the same IPOB youths that just keep shouting his name up and down. He is not known in the North at all. No one knows him. He cannot get 25% of votes in any northern state. His party has no candidates in the North. They don't have any state chairmen, local government chairmen or even ward members. No credible politician is associating with him. No one knows him in Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti, Osun and Oyo. He is little known in Edo and Delta. He couldn't even get a Northerner as placeholder. He had to use the only non-Igbo supporting him, who happens to be a discredited politician like Doyin Okupe. No momentum anywhere. Everything is online and he would not get 2 million votes in the real election. He is just being supported by IPOB members who use cyber bullying as their tactic. 57 Likes 12 Shares |

He was the first governor in the fourth Republic to be impeached by his own people for fraud. Used the Akpuzu Sars officer to silence enemies. Serves you right Deji. You have spent all your time campaigning for these IPOB terrorists, now that they sre showing their true colours you are complaining. You claimed you were advocating for Igbo presidency but you did not know you were dealing with terrorist worse than Boko Haram and ISWAP combined. This Obi movement is nothing more than IPOB. There is no difference between them and Boko Haram. Its either you accept Peter Obi or they kill you online. Somebody narrated his ordeal with a Peter Obi supported who wanted to fight him for not supporting Peter Obi. He had to call the Police. Of course we know Peter Obi will lose and they will go back to their Biafra or nothing. However just imagine for a second that Peter Obi wins? Just imagine what IPOB will do to Nigeria. They will be worse than fulani bandits. Buhari's body language encouraged and emboldened Fulani bandits. The same way Peter Obi body language embolden IPOB. If Peter Obi wins, IPOB will be worse than terrorists. They will just walk into you house and ask you to vacate it for them because their brother is the president. 21 Likes 8 Shares |

His party has won all elections in Lagos because of performance. That is why the ultimate life ambition of you meth addicts is to come hustle in Lagos. That is the only hope you guys have of escaping the poverty in you erosion infested region. Tinubu is not the president of Nigeria and has not held any elective post since 2007. He is not responsible for the poverty in the South East. Blame Peter Obi, Ikpeazu, Ugwuanyi, Umahi, Obiano, Orji, Kalu, Uzodinma, Okorocha and all your other governors for your poverty. I first voted for him in 1999 long before you were born and I have voted for his party ever since and I am not ashamed to say so. The man and his team have transformed Lagos State since 1999 and it is now the fifth largest GDP in Africa. The VAT money that your foolish states share come from Lagos. Lagos can stand alone as a country. Nigeria needs Lagos more than Lagos needs Nigeria Even your Peter Obi lives in Lagos and the ultimate dream of you guys from that side is to come to Lagos. Please stop the 30k argument. It makes no sense. Tinubu has been winning elections long before APC and he will win this next one. This has got nothing to do with tribe or religion. It is not only corruption , it is betrayal. Peter Obi betrayed Ojukwu when he left APGA for PDP. Peter Obi was little known, however Ojukeu gave him a platform to run on and he eventually won through the courts. Remember Ngige was already declared winner but Ojukwu kept spending his money and eventually got the courts to overturn the decision. Obi finished his 8 years and immediately jumped to PDP. That is betrayal. He was lucky to have bee chosen by Atiku to be running mate in 2019. He dis not know Atiku was corrupt then abi? But he turned around and contested against Atiku in 2022 primaries and when it was obvious he would not win, he jumped ship again to Labour Party. It is very clear Obi cannot be trusted and is not a team player. He is only after his selfish interest. He is just an opportunist who is not interested in developing this country. 10 Likes 3 Shares |
