I paid 4k too...Looks like its lost o, cos it should have gotten there by now. When I wasn't too sure about it then, I came here to ask questions on the NIPOST thing but didn't get any positive response. so in order to have peace of mind I resent it through DHL in May ( N16, 500, student price). But as God would have it, I received their AOR in June, meaning they got the one I sent through NIPOST[/delete]

Hi bro, have you gotten AOR from IQAS as regards the documents you sent to them via NIPOST, if yes please how long did it take...Am in same fix right now..Sent documents to IQAS since 22Mar..and am yet to hear anything from them..tnx.

Good morning, please how did you confirm they got. Did you track it or contacted WES. i am in the same situation. sent my docs to IQAS since 21st Feb 2019 and i dont know if it has reached canada.

What a great score for Canada migration. You need to have minimum of 8 in each band to claim 20 points. He can remark or rewrite the test.

Age and degrees also matter..

Thanks bellong, Not sure if this is a good decision but after careful analysis, am not sure appealing this decision would be a better option as the issue of qualification might still come up, i better invest that money in completing my Msc in IT with vendor certifications early next year and assessing for another IT occupation with ACS as u advised... Thanks.

You may be able to appeal the decision in employment but can't appeal that of qualification. TRA has now joined VETASSES in their issues with qualification.

I thought you were assessing for ICT support technician? Assessing with ACS would have been a better option than TRA.

I can confidently tell you that the school is not serious or organized at all...No where or nobody to complain too...They are really not transparent in there dealings... If they are sincere they should upload our marked scores and lets see what the problem is...

I have just discovered how to boost CRS point with additional 34points through additional 2 years diploma in THREE MONTHS. The British Computer Society Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) is recognized by WES and Evaluated as an Equivalent of two years diploma in Canada. I know of someone who has used it. The pass mark is 40%. The CIT has only three courses which are introductory courses to Computer and Network. They have an approved training centre here in Nigeria, although is located in Jos, Plateau State, they have a very robust online training platform for distance learning students. I know of about 12 of us based in Lagos that are currently taking the training, they gave us all the recommended textbooks, training materials, pass questions and answers, there is a WhatsApp group where we all discuss and we have access to some of their instructors.

You can get their details on BSC website or you just type BCS approved training in Nigeria on google to get their details.

I will advice you start by getting ur transcripts, am in same boat with you and am expecting my assessment result this month or next, the outcome will help me give u a better advice..

Just count 5 to 6 month from the month end u saw delivered... Their process takes like 20 weeks... U can send them a mail to confirm..

If you want to get a scholarship easily for 2.2 grade,
Your best bet is University scholarship.

Focus on usa, write GRE & Toefl, get Good scores, Get good recommendation letters from your lecturers,try & write a perfect motivational letter or statement of purpose both are same thing.

Computer operator is a vague description of your role. you need to narrow it down to one of the occupation on the MLTSSL list, STSOL list or ROL list. check https://www.anzscosearch.com/
If the outcome is an occupation assessed by ACS, https://www.acs.org.au/msa/information-for-applicants.html, you have the option of RPL which enables you to land a postive assesment and maybe claim some years of experiences.

or if its a VETASESS outcome: it may be a possible for some years of experience to be taken in lieu of a related degree.

Was in same shoe some months back and sent a message to my supposed assessing body and was told my employment claims must be able to be verified independently by a third party source, such as bank statement, pension etc...Bros that was how i lost the 3 years out of of 8 i was been paid by hand.... I will advice you ask ur proposed assessing body if there's a way out..

I have B.Tech Mechanic Engineering, with two years work experience from Engineering company (Power Station Project). My two years work experience in this Engineering company was as a casual staff with no employment letter and wages being paid from hand-to-hand for the aforementioned time frame.


My questions are:

1- I want to claim the two years work experience as a Entry-level Plant Engineer, but the bone of contention is getting employment reference letter from the head office as I was hired to work on site in another state.

So, I am planning to talk with one or two people in the location I worked to see if it’s possible for head office to help with a reference letter.

Secondly, the issue of pay-slip, pension fund and tax clearance is what I don't know if the head office will be willing to help with. Likewise, I don't know if any other documents will suffice for pay-slip, pension fund and tax clearance?
