In other news...

Is there anyone here hoping to qualify but has never worked in any finance/account related capacity before?

If yes, how does one cope when people expect you to scatter ground as the latest Chartered Accountant but you be like where would I start from?

I belong to this category, any advice especially from people that passed thru similar experience.

On top Falomo bridge for that kind 8pm

Me wey dey do my after-work hustling things jeje. The motor begin dey do gizz-gizz and temperature just rise like that. I just offload them for Glover Road and turn back hoping to make it back to Ligali Ayorinde.

Lo and behold, the car stopped on top of Falomo. I was extremely disturbed. Only me come dey push car for night and I nor know where I can push it to.

Suddenly...

As in suddenly, I saw a guy on the other side of the bridge, I beckoned to him and he came around. We pushed it to that GTB at checking point and God sent some other angels to me. Those security guys at Porsche cars just shouted, "oga you go push am here?"

I was so happy, I parked there and while standing at Adeola Odeku looking for motor, a ford jeep just drove out from a compound and asked to offer me a ride.

I was just lucky.

I just called ICAN Help desk to ask when the results would be out.
The lady that answered said she cannot say when the results would be out that is only EXAMS department that would be able to answer that.
I then asked for my call to be transferred to exams department. After a few five seconds, she said they are not around at the moment....

Others can also call, their number is 012912821

At all levels of registration, you will pay bank charges and to check your result you will still need to call them for updates and on top of that your bp keeps rising because you are expecting results.

Who bears all these financial and emotional costs?

some folks are shouting marginalization while their leaders are selling them out

some meeting are going on across the world to determine your fate
some government officials are looting the treasury while they come and tell us cock and bull story
some disillusioned youths are wasting their time in activities that would not profit their lives
some ladies are getting laid, losing their destiny for the sake of iPhone 7
some guys are being initiated into cultism and losing their freedom to non-existent protection
some babies are born and among them there will be leaders of tomorrow
some persons are having life changing encounter both positively and otherwise
some folks are being fired at work with nothing to fall back on while some are being newly employed
some are regretting their past actions while some others are making the same mistake they made
some people are dying to face the consequences of their actions while alive

From my experience with ICAN, they mostly release their results on Thursdays.

So whenever I am expecting result, I look forward to Thursdays.

But which Thursday, we never know...

Timing is no longer important now, it is about passing my papers.
