I’m not a PC fan but will prefer Dell to Hp
Yes DELL, don’t know why I fell in love with this brand, HP doesn’t appeal to me anymore and aside that I like machines with integrated backlight but most of them are super expensive, make God help us.

Let’s start a challenge guys.... gonna be sharing data on covid 19. So we can all analyze and predict the data.
Tools to be used:
Python/R
Pandas
Tableau,
Rapid miner
Power BI
Seaborn/plotly
Plotly
Any machine learning model based on you
Excel too....

Guys let me know your thoughts.
Sadly I don’t have a system for now, for those that doesn’t have a system like me, if you’re using iPhone u can download “Carnets” on app world, I’ve been using it for the past few months.

So @ejiod what’s the task pls? What should we do with the dataset?

As s programmer, you should learn to search for answers online. StarkOverFlow should be your next best friend. just type some keywords from your question in google, 100% chance your question has been asked before.
Best answer so far, most of the questions here have their answers online, just google it with the required keywords, that’s all. One more thing, you can’t know it all, everybody google things even senior developers so we’re all learners.

So far Machine Learning is a subtask of Data Science then you can’t do without Data Structures and Algorithms.

Funny enough it was through YouTube channel and when I was a web developer. I started by testing different cases on a web app just to fish out bugs. It was purely functional testing. Started growing up in testing API...
My best framework was katalon studio and Selenium before I started with SoapUI and postman. Truth be told, software testing is cool when you understand the architectural design of an app and you knowing little web stuff plus little code. These days software testing pays good but you need work it out by running many iterations just to beat bugs in a system.
Do I need anyone to tell me that am still a baby when it comes to programming? Hell NO!!!

There are many tools in Data analysis/ Data Science. If for instance, I were to go for interview, would the interviewer test me with their own Computer or would I be required to go along with mine?

I'm asking because it's possible that one prefers Tableau to learning Excel for visualization. Is it possible that the coy tests you with their own Computer where they don't exactly use the tools you're comfortable with? Or must one learn everything? I know it's a silly question but I'd appreciate inputs.
I believe they must have gone through your CV or LinkedIn profile so they know what they want and what you can offer, also they might prefer you use your own system since you’re familiar with it.

@ejiod,so in all your quest to become a data scientist, no exam was written? No certifications was awarded?
Even in the US and other advanced countries most companies don’t give a hoot about your certification, it’s all about the problems u can solve.

if you want to start as a fresher to python programming and you need solid basics

I would recommend

Automate the boring stuff with python(2015)
by
Al swelgart.

You can download online for free

it's by far one of the easiest to understand and soft book for beginners, several python programmers can attest to that, it also has project and exercises per Chapter..
Also practise along side Using a python IDE.
pycharm, jupyter book n Co.. if need modules you can download Anaconda it contains several libraries.
Saw the book online but I’ve been unable to download it, can anyone help with a link?
