First i dont have explain to u how and what I give; that is between me and God. Notwithstanding, the case of church helping the less privilaged is another story entirely.

Also note that i'm not judging the G.O. here but just trying to affirm what the bible says. As a matter of fact, I'm a member of RCCG but dat does not mean i should follow whatever pastors say (whither G.O. or no).

Paul the apostle said of the Thesalonians, go go back to the scripture to verify whether what the apostle said was right or not and i believe dat's what x-tians shld do rather than follow pastors as if they're god even when they are saying what is clearly against the Word of God.

Our Lord Jesus said: "search the scriptures for in them ye think ye have light and they are they that testify of me".

Please brother, live for God and not for man.
PoliticsRe: Adeboye Floats Millionaires’ Club by topsy25(m): 4:04pm On Aug 11, 2009
Need I add this:

32 "ow the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.
36 And Joses,[d] who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, 37 having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet."

From the passages of the scripture above, we can all see church is meant to care for those in need and not for some people to gather wealth.None should lack in a christian settings, but what percentage of the redeemers live below poverty level huh How many has the church sent to schoschoolw many homeless has the church sheltered huh

Indeed can we answer the question our Lord asked before he left this world: "If I come back, will I meet faith on earth?"

Christians shocked shocked

By the special grace of God, I'm a member of RCCG. Notwithstanding, I'm of the opinion that the way the church source and emphasize on money is very unbiblical.

Yes! Jesus himself said: "give and it shall be given unto you, " and other parts of the bible confirms that there's blessing in given. But; what, how, who should give and to whom should be given? Time and space will not be enough for me to answer these questions.

Notwithstanding, God is not interested in how much u give but how "well". The "well" could mean the state of your heart while giving, it could mean whether its ur widow's mite which may have more value than someone giving N10M. The "well" could also mean whether the money u're giving is clean or unclean. Did you rob ur fellow human being to give God? Will your offering be acceptable before God? etc.

Many believe they can bride God or buy their way to heaven by given large sum to God, this people to me, lack understanding.

Personally, i believe the G.O. should learn from the apostles of old and emphasize more on the teachings of the kingdom, Christ and His cruxification for the remission of sin rather than money, money and money. Jesus did not come to give money but to reconcile us with God. "seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all other things will be added to you".

I attended a sunday service in Deeper life once some times ago and the pastor expressly told the ushers that should anybody bring in tithes that's they know is larger than his earnings, he should be questioned and if he cannot give reasonable answer, his money should be returned to him.

HealthRe: Inducement In Child Birth by topsy25(op): 4:45pm On Aug 10, 2009
chaircover:
I think this should be in the health section as there may be obstetricians in there who will have the medical knowledge to give you.

From my own personal experience, I was induced with my son because he was 10 days late.

Once the decision is made to induce, a gel is placed on the cervix to soften it and a pill is given to start contractions. Some hospitals insist that an epidural must be given when the woman is induced because the contractions are believed to be stronger than normal.

Both baby and mother are monitored and the baby is delivered.

I am sure there must be other medical reasons why babies are induced.
Thanks so much chaircover, but someone told me inducement is administered by giving drip to the woman. Some also said the 80% of induced women would eventually have CS. Is this through huh

Me am scared o shocked
