Reading this article you can see why most people now think Hitler should have done a better job with the Jews. I do not believe in the above school of thought but suffice to say the Jews deserve all the negative publicity they get around the world. How could the Palestinians accept a "bantustanization" of their country? The Jews want the Palestinians to accept a small portion of land here, a small portion of land there as long as its not contiguous. The reasons the Jews want this non-contiguous Palestinian state is so they can continue the master servant relationship they've been practicing since they arrived from Europe. They want to retain the right of manning all borders surrounding Palestinian "bantustan". To move from point A to point B (with this solution) the Palestinians would have to pass Israeli border guards. How can this be a solution and why should the Palestinians accept it. No wonder only the US and Britain will ratify such an unworkable system. The rest of the world has much more political nous to know this is unworkable.

Not really, how many countries with a christian minority are u seeing in turmoil? How many christians are carrying placards crying "Europe you will pay"? How many christian terrorists have you caught? How many christians have a gun to your throat asking you to renounce islam?
Christians will not carry placards cause we Christians are the "agent provocateur". We did the above for centuries and if muslims are carrying placards its because of christian provocation and you know it. Its a shame that when christians invade countries they expect the natives not to become terrorist, what a lame thought process the "Christian Right" have. Look inwards and you find the "Christian Right" is a lot more dangerous than all the muslim terrorist put together. "Christian Taliban George Bush" is busy fermenting trouble and terrorising the world, and what does the "Christian Right say? Nothing, they explain it away as democracy. The insidious
George Bush is spreading his brand of democracy to the middle east as long as they vote for his stooges, what an evil man. My friend the Christian right together with the neo-cons put the world in this present security quagmire. The easiest thing is to join the bandwagon in America and blame the muslims. Of the war raging aroud the world today, 90% has christian American involvement overtly or covertly.

lol your ignorance is obvious. Those places i mentioned ARE STILL IN EXISTENCE! they are actual cities in Isreal today, i don't need to go to the bible to point out where Jerusalem or the temple mount is, it is merely a flight away to Tel Aviv!
How would you know the Arab names of these places? For instance the Temple mount is Al-Quds or Haram al-Sharif to the Arabs.

the Arabs don't have a name for those places, for the few they have names for, those names are very recent. The name "westbank" did not exist until 1948, it is simply the jordanian name for Judea/Samaria, a name that has been in existence for 3000 years.
Jordanian name for Judea/Samaria? One would have thought "westbank" is an English name.
Should Portugal lay claim to Lagos? Is Lagos a Yoruba name? You can see your arguement won't stand any scrutiny. Stop repeating same old lies.

davidylan:
This is simply absurd. If Isreal is palestinian land then so is Jordan since it was created from 80% of ancient palestine. Isreal is a mere 15% of the original land.
Black September 1970 commemorates the period Jordan killed about 7000 palestinians and expelled the PLO to Lebanon. . .
- the only ancestral homes and archeological artefacts in Isreal today point specifically to the Jews and not the arabs.Up till tomorrow no palestinian arab can point to any historical facts that tie them to the land of Isreal beyond shouting about Ashkenazi jews.
- The palestinian arabs who remained in Isreal (and make up 20% of the population) are today bonafide citizens ably represented in the Knesset, in jordan palestinians cannot be granted citizenship and are confined to refugee camps.
I have repeatedly said no two historians agree on middle eastern history. You keep quoting historial facts lifted from the pages of "The Modern History of Israel". Without Hitler, Polish terrorist Ben Gurion would have remained in Europe. To most people the founder of Israel ben gurion arrived from Poland and went on an orgy of violence against the locals, fought the British and gorged on the blood of the locals to establish the Israeli state. My friend History is always written by the victor, the rest of the world knows the truth, about time you seek the truth instead of regurgitating Jewish soundbites. The Jews in Iraq, Iran etc are also bonafide citizens of those countries. They have not left en masse for Israel. I wonder why Jews in Arab countries haven't left for the utopia called Israel.
While the Jews in those Arab countries live a fairly normal life, the same can't be said of the Arabs who live under Jews and you know it.
Thousands kept in prison, homes routinely demolished, university graduates working at McDonalds, where is this utopia you're painting? Its certainly not Israel, Palestinians can emigrate to Europe and claim refugee status and it would be granted, I have not heard of any Jew emigrating from Iran to Israel or Europe, have you? The lives of Jews living in other parts of the middle east is unequivocally good. The tight fisted Jews live opulent lives in those countries.

Palestinians did not fight in 1948, 1953 and 1967. The only started fighting when the PLO was formed by an Egyptian (Arafat) in 1964.
They did not fight in those wars according to you, they only arrived from mars conveniently after the war? Care to tell me where they were when the war was raging around them?

there is no occupation.
They are tourist.

Herein lies the hypocrisy and idiocy of your viewpoint. Occupation SHOULD be occupation either under the jews or arabs. To claim that palestiinians today would have been comfortable as refugees in Jordan and Egypt had 1967 not occured is incomprehensible.
Occupation is an occupation only when the occupied says its an occupation.

Good, now i think we can make some headway. I have a few questions i would love answered;

1. Is that land Jewish or arab lands? please note places like bethlehem, jerusalem, capernaum . . .
Stop using the Bible as the reference here, the Arabs have different names for those places. Since I don't know Arabic I won't be able tto tell you their Arabic names.

80% of the said land in dispute was given to Jordan that has NEVER existed before 1922, why is there no complaints about the Jordanians even when they expel palestinians from land they claim was historically theirs?
Ask yourself this, why are the Palestinians not complaining about the Jordanians. Is it because its only the Israelis who would murder Palestinian kids on a whim, rape and pillage their ancestral homes, destroy thier livelihood and make them refugees in their own country.

Why did the palestinians wait till 1988 to request these lands?
The Palestinians have been fighting the Jews since Israel was created. They may have faught under different auspices, but they have always resisted the occupation, wouldn.t you?
When these lands were under Egyptian and Jordanian control between 1948 - 1967 there were never refered to as "occupied territory". why?
Leave it to the Palestinians. Egypt and Jordan are Arabic countries and if the Palestinians didn't see it as an occupation then it is not.

If indeed the Arab grievance is at Isreal's "dehumanization" of palestinians why are palestinians not safe in Iraq, Jordan or Lebanon?
Is any one safe in Iraq? I see you're planning on going on a holiday to Iraq (good luck). So in the world you inhabit, two wrongs make a right. Because the stateless Palestinians are marginalised in the society they emigrated to, Israel have the right to do same(even if Israel is the source of the problem).

The fact is simple - Iraq and her arab brothers have no right to cry on behalf of the palestinians in Gaza
Its not just Iraqis, the UN has also been crying.

Most reasonable people would read this piece by Big B1 and quietly leave the room. I think we should stop believing in the quaint idea that all black people are "brothers" and therefore suffer same discrimination. Davidylan despite his foibles knows when to do an "Asafa Powell". The man saw there was no sense in his argument.
For those who missed it, Big B1 gave this example.

"While I was at Carmine today, I couldn't believe that there wasn't any mafia, no shooting, no drugs, no vulgar tongue or gesture, no Sopranos, no gambling, no stealing and I didn't even see any European peasant"
@Tayo-D
Look at your cynicism towards fellow black people. You'd rather believe the uber racist O'Reilly whilst pouring scorn on the achievement of Jesse Jackson et al. You blame black people of under achieving as if The African American has the same mindset as a Nigerian migrant. The Nigerian migrant has father, mother, sister, brother etc to send money to, unlike the average native. Whilst a migrant would do almost any job, obey any rule, the native can't be expected to play by the same rule as an immigrant. Check the other minorities in America and you will know this is not a unique phenomenon. In the 80s, a Ghanaian Lecturer would emigrate to Nigeria as a secondary school teacher. Don't use your criteria to judge AA because your skin colour is the only similarity here.

A clumsy attempt at a straw man's argument. Asked whether you can call US military activities in Afghanistan an invasion ,your response is,"The US army went to Iraq to conquer it". A response even a stark illiterate will recognise as bogus.
I thought the American military went to Afghanistan to remove the Taleban govt of Mulah Omar. Going to another country to
effect a regime change is universally recognised as an invasion. Even American military personnel and politicians
all refer to "the invasion of Afghanistan". Is not like you didn't know or believe it was an invasion, you however have an inventive approach to discussing politics. If theirs another name for American military excursion to Afghanistan please let me know.

The above is wholly false.Anybody reading your posts will think that Iraqi power, water and telephone infratsructure has been destroyed by the US military, probably via "smart bombs".Any sincere observer knows that the biggest source of danger for infrastructure has been Iraq insurgents.

Actually, power supply nationwide has been same as pre-invasion in terms of output.Baghdad has witnessed lower power supply but other parts of Iraq have witnessed greater output.

Phones lines have increased by a multiple of 10 so for you to mention that is laughable.
Sometimes I worry which news feed you subscribe to that makes you so ill informed. Since the invasion, electricity has been
at best sporadic. There are towns and villages in Iraq that hasn't seen electricity for months. Its true the insurgents
has destroyed some infrastructures, but it was America that came with the Shock and Awe operation (a military that
believe in the doctrine of applying overwhelming force) that caused the initial destruction. You paint Iraq like an Oasis
(thanks to America) the reality is most Iraqis have fled to Syria, Jordan,Iran etc.

Strangely, little outrage was expressed when hundreds of thousands of Shias and Kurds were killed in the 90s.
Why only the 90s? You nonchalantly forgot the 80s when D. Rumsfeld came with shipload of weapons and told Saddam to
march his army to Iran. It did not matter to someone with your ethos then that most Shites who refused to fight emigrated to Iran. The shites were the enemy then because of their affinity to Iran. What goes around comes around.

One would not recognise that it was this "chaos causing" US that defended Europe and South Asia from the Axis powers, helped defeat Communism, underwrote the "Marshal Plan" and funds almost half of all humanitarian relief on the planet.
What logic is this? Why fund humanitarian relief elsewhere and leave your citizens on their roof for days in time of
disaster? You continuosly cross the frontier from fact to fiction, this is your patent nonsense as usual.

I would bet that during the Cold War,you were one of those misguided folks who were defending the Soviet Union and communism.
It is the practitioners of any governmental system that makes or ruins a system of government. Communism is alive and well in China. Communist China has now overtaken capitalist Britain and Germany. Would you compare capitalist Nigeria with Communist China?

What a pathetic attempt to explain away US sacrifice in money and lives to defend Bosnia and Kosovo.Guess what nation is the most beloved in those 2 provinces?. . . . . and you are here weaving bogus explanations.
America being the richest country in the world is beloved by poor folks around the world.Tony Blair shamed America into action and its not the other way round. Check out the BBC's documentary of when Blair went to Kosovo.

Irony. . . . . coming from a man who cited various neo-Nazi sites to prove his inane Jewsih conspiracies

PoliticsRe: Suddenly, I'm An 'islamic Fascist' By Jonathan Cook by Tornadoz(m): 1:33am On Sep 22, 2007
What is your definition of an invasion? Do you realise that there were warring factions (the northern alliance) who had been fighting to get rid of the Taleban well before the US came? If the US soldiers succeeded in helping Darfur rebels to rout the supporter of APC in Darfur, would that also automatically qualify as an "invasion"?
The US army went to Iraq to conquer it, if this was not an invasion, please define what "invasion" is.
In contrast if America was mandated under the aegis of the UN to go to Darfur to stop the waring factions from killing themselves that would hadly be deemed an invasion.

More to the anti-US hypocrites! The US led push to oust Saddam Hussein ended within less than 2 months with very minimal loss of lives and infrastructure.
What happened to the electricity, the water supply, the phone lines etc? After the ousting of Saddam how many govt parastatals were still standing and functioning? Sorry but am not about to name all the infrastructures that were destroyed by the so-called smart bombs, so please stop trying to re-write history, less than 4yrs after the event.

But for the rise in militias, al qaeda terrorists and Iranian subterfuge in Iraq, this would have ended years ago with a newly elected Iraqi government.
That the US is still in Iraq is simply because of the actions of terrorists!
Wishful thinking to imply the war would have ended years ago.Traveling thousands of miles to inflict pain and suffering on a largely defenseless population you expected no resistance. You and I know America made Iraq a breeding ground for the so-called Al-aeda.
The Americans have learnt a bitter lesson from Iraq,
I doubt it. They are still planning on going to Iran.

if you need peace-keeping troops do it urselves!!!
Exactly my point, America causes chaos in some distant land and leaves the rest of the world to pick up the pieces.

The US was part of a NATO coalition to rescue Kuwait from the 1991 Iraqi invasion, the US was part of the coalition that stopped the bloodshed in Kosovo!
Was it their love for Kuwaiti's that made them spearhead the eventual confrontation with Saddam's army. Sadly they didn't have the same enthusiasm when it came to other conflicts. Britain and Tony Blair was credited for bringing in America in the alliance to partition Yugoslavia. I remember America's first act was to bomb the Chinese embassy.

Research first before making empty noise!
Same with you pal, as long as you don't rummage the racist archives.
