Yes , I’m an agent but I have some making enquiries as regard this type of vehicle , this is it , let assume the buying cost of the vehicle from abroad according to the custom chart I checked as at xterday , it was stated there to be $25,984 multiply by the new customs xchange dollar rate which is #361, that gave us 9,380,585, Multiply by 35% and that is 3,282,699 for surface duty but to have the overall total duty it will be 3,282,699 multiply by 1.38 new 7.5% , when it was 5% we used 1.26 and that gave us 4,530,125 which is very high to pay , so that’s why we agent go for compromise value by going to custom valuation office to make sure we get Lower price to make it considerate for our customers , so let calculate again, now if we get compromise value from the custom and let assume we were given compromise surface duty value of 1.3 which is quite lower to the previous 3,282,699 which is going to be 1,300,000 multiply by 1.38 and that will give us 1,794,000 as the Total duty alone , if we were given 1,200,000 , that will give us 1,656,000 including VAT, Surcharge, and ETL , I will say the lower compromise value we get as surface duty , the lower we will have as the total duty and before we get the compromise value there is always miscellaneous payment for that . Please make sure you pay 1.million above for surface duty anything lesser than that is risky . |

The second terminal and shipping company that also deal With delivery of Autos at the Tincan island is Five Star Logistic Limited and there shipping company named Comet Shipping Agency while Five Star is their Terminal where Autos deliveries are taking .
