adebayo you are a true hero. i recommend you for CNN hero awards, at least for next yr beewhyfocs:i made this argument in Cardiff University child labor seminar in 2006. Doctors cannot treat headache without tackling the cause of the headache. unfortunately people dont look deep b4 taking decisions. while u are a hero for not letting the difficulties weigh you down, i will still say it is unfortunate that the problems u had are still here with the next generation of poor nigerians and may remain so for more than a century. u were different though. you knew you were not supposed to be doing that but you had to do it for a reason. the bad news now is that many children do not know that they aint supposed to be hawking. they have accepted it as a way of life. abuja doesnt care |

i hear there was an election in ghana. it went smoothly, perhaps even more smoothly than the US election. who says it is hard to conduct an election? all we need is sincerity.http://www.theghanaianjournal.com/2008/12/08/bbc-comment-on-ghanas-election/ even the world acknowledged their election. someone argues nigeria has higher population making it harder to do an election. . . . well, i ask, what is the population of jos? does jos have a higher population than ghana? why couldnt there be a simple election in jos? until we are able to conduct an election, and a census . . . . forget it. nothing good will come out of that enclave. only despondent management. and it is not an evil prophecy, just a simple statement of fact. just like saying it will be dark at night if nepa takes light |
@mckren i have always read ur posts and i give u high regards, but bro i do hereby vehemently and unrepentantly disagree with you absolutely. remove the damn immunity, let anybody sue anybody. it's about time they started answering questions from the public directly, at least in the law courts. being governor did not stop them from pursuing girls young enough to be their daughters (and grand daughters for some of them) why should it stop them from asnwering questions. they must not appear personally in court everyday, they may send surrogates. investigators can come to their home to ask questions. and that includes the president. are senators not corrupt. has absence of immunity paralysed the senate? |

toshmann: Kobojunkie: wetin u wan yarn? dont u understand english? protest and revolution, do they look like the same thing to you?what we need is a spontanoues revolution. like what happened in france some centuries back. and not a planned protest/demonstration. i know ur greatest cerebral contribution to nigeria's problems have been roflmao |
e don start already. even from abroad i dey monitor the thing |
guy make u no go protest where mad people wear uniform as security agents o. b/c after much protest, when people don die finish, oga dem go settle a few guys from the protest, that one go end. those wey die will get mass burial. kaput. what nigeria needs is a revolution. unplanned, spontaneous but co-ordinated attack on the status quo. then even the police that they will send to quell the violence will join the revolution. succesful revolutions have always been a masses-vs-elite issue. that cant happen now in dear nigeria b/c the ignorant masses are still busy killing themselves. |
why didnt the western media report the crisis in jos? you are not important my dear. nigeria is not important in the world. but nigeria's oil is important. if that violence was in the niger-delta, it would get better coverage. by the way, how much of it did the NTA report? |
Kobojunkie:somebody is finally stating the hard facts this is sad but the truth is that we are waiting for the next riot truth hurts |

is there any other country in this world where this kind of thing is still happening? i've said it before, i say it again, i'm sitting here in ohio, praying . . .and fasting . . . and hoping that we wont wake up one day to say . . . . . "why didnt OBJ 3rd term work". nigeria is derailing badly. too, too badly. in this global recession we are destroying the little property we have. if u ask me, i'll say the real problem here is 1. lack of law and order(our culture) 2. poverty (hard core excruciating poverty) 3. ignorance (with chronic unrepentant illiteracy) 4.nigerian factor(too deep for explanation) 5. lack of govt 6. (you guys can add more) |

first of all lady T, I'm not an american, and until march this yr i was in the UK with you. why didnt we meet sef? the presidency is not a person but an institution. one of the "dumbest" persons to rule america was harry truman. he was so "dumb" that mrs roosevelt had to tell him that he is now the president. but b/c he was surrounded by the system(roosevelt's presidency, he turned out to be a president even the republicans are willing to love. i admire barrack a lot. his life has taught me many things and encouraged me to work hard and damn my disadvantages. but i believe, in a capitalistic country like the US, the last thing you may want to do in a recession is to raise taxes (not even on the rich whom you may need to create jobs). i agree with his decision to end the iraq war, i agree with his health plan, though i believe hillary's own is better, however, the issue now is economy and job creation. the US lost nearly a million jobs this yr alone . . . and still counting . . it would be hard to create the jobs while taxing the rich. and . . . i'm sure obama wont want me to support him simply because he is black finally, to answer the question in your profile, the answer is yes. they are too big and too good ![]() |
vote negro_ntns the change we can trust ![]() if only people listen. however history shows that most voters vote with thier heart and not their brains, ![]() |
MrCrackles:are you just knowing? where have you been? |
ribadu has paid his dues in the building of this nation. history will judge him as a courageous young man. listen, freedom and democracy comes with a price.ask the americans, ask the british etc. nigeria will continue to derail . . perhaps . . forever (and this is not a curse but a simple statement of a fact that is bound to happen wether it is said or not). . . . until our people step up to fight the evil in our country. that fight, which is against evil in high places will not come easy. there will be fatalities, horror, humiliation etc. ngige nearly paid with his life for fighting against the forces that held anambra state, ribadu has fought his own, and is paying the price. but nigeria needs millions of people who will do this kind of fight. and not just 2 people. . . otherwise . . . . . we are going to implode @ ribadu, weep not, brother, history will smile on you and your children . . you stood up and made a difference in your generation. you were far from perfect, yet you made an impact. you are a true nigerian hero |
simibrasil why do you want to know what nwokedi means? and bodi . . ![]() nwokedi literarily means man dey but it must have an actual deep meaning which i may not know. and i'm sure it is a short form of a longer name that mught bring out the real meaning( most igbo names are a short form of a longer name with the real meaning) bodi? not sure it is an igbo name though. dunno. anyway, there is something better you should know ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzH83zV9C0g&feature=related do you know? |
