Many give tithes and offering because they want something in return but world billionaires give to the poor with no intention of receiving, that is the reason they are growing bigger...

I like your submission. Giving must come from our hearts in love for God and His people and not because we want money in return.

Why is your tithes and offerings not making you richer?

You have been taught that, the doorway to financial prosperity is giving.

A lot of teaching out there, links financial prosperity to tithes, offerings and other forms of sacrificial giving. Some even link your financial breakthrough to who you give to and where you give at.

And the worst part has to do with some questionable acts of extortion during altar calls that promises you financial breakthrough if you give certain amount.

But in all of these, my question is, why are people not getting richer?

Why do you need to give and give and continue giving to access financial prosperity?

If financial prosperity comes from giving, I believe, we should be having many super rich Christians, not just those barely getting along.

Before you tell me about some persons experience, I like you to ponder on all your giving and sincerely judge whether they met your expectations always. I don’t want you to answer this question with a religious mind, but that of sincerity.

You might think or make yourself believe that when you give, God can decide to pay you another way either by protecting you from evil. But that in itself is an insult on God. God will never need any form of atonement outside the blood of Jesus to do good to those that believe.

With the current outbreak of covid-19 pandemic across the world, the attention of people have been diverted to the problem rather than the solution.

This has increased fear among people because whenever you focus on the problem, it brings fear.

But what is the way out in such a times as this…

The answer can be found by comparing the current situation with a similar one that happens sometimes ago.

Take a look at this…

5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. 6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Num 21:5-9 KJV

Now the above situation is likened to what is happening now. The people of Israel disregard God’s authority and He sent(i.e. allowed) serpents among them. It is important to note that these serpents have been in the wilderness with them through out their journey, but the serpents couldn’t come near them because they were under divine covering (clouds by day and fire by night (Exo 13:21). So God didn’t literally send the serpents among them, but remove His covering and allowed them to be hurt by these serpents.

Now, should we conclude that covid-19 pandemic was allowed by God? The answer is yes emphatic. But why? Follow me as I make some explaniation.

Fitstly, it is reasonable for us to know that God is good and compassionate (The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. (Psa 103:8 KJV)). But in His compassion, He allow crisis in order to pass a message. And often, God does that as a last option when people refuse to yield His fatherly warnings.

So i believe covid-19 was allowed by God for a reason that will benefit humanity at the end. Please understand that this virus has been around since creation and the reason it hadn’t harm man is because, God had not made it powerful against man until now.

But how do we shorten the period of this plague. It is by doing what the Israelites did when God allowed those serpents amongst them.

God instructed Moses to erect a brazen serpent and anyone bitten by the serpent who looks at it will be saved. How do we relate that to our day?

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: Joh 3:14 KJV

In the above, we saw that Jesus was a type of the brazen serpent. Jesus was lifted i.e. crucified as the saviour of the world and anyone who looks to Him will be saved in times like this.

You don’t need to wait for your coronavirus status before you look to Him. You might have been bitten already (you might have been exposed to the virus without knowing). But if you will look up to Jesus, you will be saved. Nobody needs to perish from this pandemic again. Jesus is the cure both of the infection and also of the fear of the infection.

I want you to know that everybody needs to look up to Jesus individually to be free from the scourge of this plague and other plagues to come (this won’t be the end of plagues). Please understand that no church denomination or affliation will be a covering for anybody in times like this, you have to look up to Jesus by yourself. God’s instruction to the Israelites is that anyone bitten by the serpent should look to the brazen serpent and live.

I wish the whole world would turn from their idolatry and look up to Jesus and this holiday will be over in an instant.

But the sad truth is that people are stuck in their own ways.

I saw the other day people commending the medical practitioners due to their sacrifices in these times and affirming them as more important than God. Also there are billionaires investing billions into the production of vaccines.

Now, don’t get me wrong, doctors and nurses are doing great and deserve our commendation, and we also need the vaccine. But none of this will take this plague away unless the whole world return to God.

There is no need to suffer long in the hands of this plague. If individually and as nations, we will return to God, He will heal our lands.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2Ch 7:14 KJV

We must re-trace our focus back to Jesus. We must remove our attention from our efforts and fix them on what Jesus Christ has done. The answer is with Jesus and He must be sovereign in all things.

When we get our attention back to Jesus, He can decide to give us a vaccine or cure in a physical form or He may choose another means. But what is sure is salvation from the scourge of this virus.

I want to assure you that everyone who will yield to this message will be exempted from this plague in Jesus name. Amen.

Your prosperity is not a function of how much you possess. Your prosperity is a function of how much of your life Jesus Christ dominates. Our lives are not defined by how much we have, but by how much purpose we understand and execute.
God placed you and me on earth for a reason. But He will not force us to accept that reason or purpose. It’s our choice that will determine where we end up. We don’t exist on earth to make/earn a living. Rather we exist on earth to serve God and His kingdom.

Being created after God’s likeness, we have the capacity to initiate for God. By initiating for God, I mean we can take steps or create things that God can approve off. This is beyond the understanding of most Christian, and it has limited them to a mere ordinary life. What do you think God meant, when He said “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” (Psa 82:6 KJV). Every child of God is a god on this earth, whose creativity is like that of God. The difference between a lion and its cub is time. A lion cub needs only about 3 – 4 years to become an adult lion and do whatever an adult lion can do. So, we can say that a cub is a potential lion that needs time to actualize its potential. In the same way, the difference between God and a Christian is time. Jesus said “I and My Father are one” (John 10:30). He could say this because, He had already invested the time needed to grow into God. Many people thought Jesus was given birth to as an already mature Son of God, but that is not true. He came into the world like you and I, and had to grow spiritually and physically for 30 (thirty) years into the full stature of God. “And Jesus increased in wisdom (in broad and full understanding) and in stature {and} years, and in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52 AMP). The reason why many Christian are not making impact in their world is due to lack of growth. Many people are only growing physically but not spiritually. Your level of growth will determine your rank in the creative realm. When the people in John 6:10-15 saw the miracle of the feeding of 5,000 men with just two fishes and two loaves of bread, they were so amazed that the only thing they could imagine was to make Him their king. That was the God-kind of result we are supposed to produce, if we would take time to grow into Him. We have spent so much time praying and less time thinking. What most people who pray don’t know is that a powerful prayer life is born out of a quality God-like thinking. Prayers are meant to produce results and not a mere obligation. Faith, a major factor for answered prayer is a state of the mind which can only come from proper meditation (thinking) on the word of God (Rom 10:17, Josh 1:. Though prayer is a powerful force, you can’t grow by it. It takes spending quality time in thinking on the word of God through the help of the Holy Spirit to
grow into the God-kind of life.

Every man or woman living in this planet earth is faced by one opposition or the other. These forces of the enemy are out to wreck the lives and destiny of men. If you don’t do anything about these opposing forces, they will make a mess of your life and destiny. That is why you can’t afford to miss what am about to share with you on how you can defeat all your enemies including the very stubborn ones.

Let me start by stating that all it takes to defeat your adversaries have been done by one man and handed down to you if only you will receive it. Every adversity established or manifesting anywhere is pioneered and controlled by Satan. No matter what is opposing you in any area of your life, Satan is at the root of all of it. That is why you must be ready to do as am about to unveil to you.

The devil, your one and only enemy who manifests in divers ways and media is an already defeated force. If you don’t know this, you will continue to live in perpetual fear and defeat all your life. Jesus came into the world to destroy every works of the devil (1John 3:. He disarm the enemy of all his weaponry and made a public show of them triumphing over them in victory (Col 2:15). But all these does not transform into automatic victory for you unless you know and do what it takes to appropriate it.

I have told you all these to let you know that your adversary is only thriving on your ignorance. And that is the only battle you have to fight right now and each an everyday of your life. You need to fight ignorance because your enemy wants you to always believe he has power over you; that is not true. You can defeat your enemy by changing the way you think. You have made your enemy powerful enough by how you think; it’s time to switch your thinking to the powerful one who overcame for you.

“The LORD says, “I am the one who strengthens you. Why should you fear mortals, who are no more enduring than grass? Have you forgotten the LORD who made you, who stretched out the heavens and laid the earth’s foundations? Why should you live in constant fear of the fury of those who oppress you, of those who are ready to destroy you? Their fury can no longer touch you. (Isa 51:12-13 GNB).

That’s the good news am sharing with you. God, the creator of heaven and earth has won the battle over your enemy for you. It’s time to start thinking of how big this God is. The more you get conscious of how big your God is, the more irrelevant your enemy will assume. You can arise right now with this understanding and order every stubborn enemy out of your life, health, finances and career in the name of Jesus.

But let me warn you; the victory that Jesus won over the devil, your enemy can only be accessible if you are genuinely born again by willingly repenting of all your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. You don’t have to be defeated another day. Surrender your life to Jesus now by going to Him in prayer and see your enemy crumbling under your feet.
