you have only one life to live. So, endeavor to live it well. You have the right to belong to the church of your choice. So, choose wisely through the help of the Holy Spirit.

7. Churches that magnify the devil and his works.
If your going to church increases your fear instead of faith. Relocate.
Don’t continue going to a church that keep telling you what the devil is going to do to you (Whether through prophecy or other means) without establishing you in the word of God.
God has given you power to tread on snakes and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy (Luke 10:19)

6. Churches that do not believe in the Holy communion.
Jesus instituted the communion before the end of His ministry on earth and commanded us to do it in His remembrance. (1Cor 11:24-25)
The early church recorded daily breaking of bread from house to house. (Act 2:46)
Jesus said in Joh 6:53 that If you don't eat His flesh and drink His blood, you don't have the source of life in you.
So, if you are attending a church that denies this, it’s time to relocate.

5. Churches who do not believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.
You need the Holy to grow and praying in the Holy Spirit i.e. speaking in tongues is a great way to be edified. (1Cor 14:4)
So, attending a church that denies this great gift of God will be a minus to your destiny.

4. Churches that is no longer supporting your spiritual growth.
One major reason for going or belonging to a church is for spiritual growth through the preaching of the word and prayer.
If you go to church and return without being challenged to a better life, it’s time to relocate.

3. Churches that condone worldliness.
The Bible warned us not to love the world or things in the world. (1John 2:15)
Worldliness is a system evident in works of the flesh.
Though the door of churches should be open to sinners, but it should not be dominated by sin.
If your church is not confronting sinful acts, it’s condoning it and it’s time for you to relocate

2. Churches led by ministers who threatens their members with curses.
God’s ministers are commissioned to bless not to curse. There is no amount of provocation that should make a church leader curse his followers. (Rom 12:14)

1. Churches that lay too much emphasis on money
There is nothing wrong with the collection of offerings in any church. But it becomes a crime when leaders use unholy means to extort their members.
Like sales of prayer materials, miracle money claims and so on.
You cannot grow to become whom God wants you to be in such environment.
The bible describes them in (Php 3:19 KJV) that their God is their belly because they mind earthly things.)

A church is a spiritual organization ordained by God to be an assembly of saints where believers are equipped and edified through the operation of various ministry gifts. (1Cor 12:28)
Though we as individuals are the church of Jesus Christ with Jesus as our Head (Ephe 5:23), it’s God’s plan that we operate as a United entity which is called the church of God.
But today, we have many gatherings calling themselves churches but which have deviated completely from God’s original plan to His church. A church is intended by God to be a place where you are built and shaped to become who God wants you to be.
What I will be showing you is a list of churches you should stop going.
The Bible says that by their fruits you shall know them. (Luke 6:44)
So, without mentioning names of any church, the following fruits that I will be listing is enough for you to know if you need to get out of your current church.

Every act of unfruitfulness will not be pardoned, it can be endured, but not pardoned. You can’t afford to occupy space for nothing and receive the goodness of God in life for nothing.

If you know what God wants from you, your life will be a meaningful one.

I like you to know that God has a high expectation for all His creatures. There is what He wants from them all.

What God wants from everyone is the reason for creating them.

It is the same reason every manufacturer creates a product. No manufacturer will make a product without an expectation. The success of every product is tied to whether it’s fulfilling the expectation of the manufacturer.

It is said that “when the purpose of a thing is not known, the abuse is inevitable”. It’s like using a sport car for transporting cargoes. Apart from the fact that you will kill the vehicle, you will also not get the desired result because it’s an abuse of purpose for which it was manufactured.

This act of producing result in accordance with the manufacturer’s intention is what is called FRUITFULNESS

What was the first word God spoke to man?

The first word is very important. The life of every man is like a book, to get the best out of your life, you must know what the introduction says.

When God created man as recorded in Genesis 1:26-28, the first thing He said to man is… “Be fruitful”… This same word was reechoed after the flood when Noah and his family came out of the ark (Gen 9:1)

If any man wants to please God, he/she must pursue fruitfulness. As a product, God will be disappointed in you if you fail to produce fruit.

When Jesus came, He said in the emphatic …“I am the true vine, and my Father takes care of the vineyard. He removes every one of my branches that doesn’t produce fruit. He also prunes every branch that does produce fruit to make it produce more fruit”. (Joh 15:1-2 GW). Then in verse 5 He said… “I am the vine. You are the branches. Those who live in me while I live in them will produce a lot of fruit. But you can’t produce anything without me. (Joh 15:5 GW)

Hear this, God created us to produce fruit. But when man sinned in Adam, he lost the power to produce according to the original intent. God sent Jesus to restore our fruitfulness. So, you don’t have any excuse to be unfruitful.

Why did God choose man and why did He put man in world?

“You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you. (John 15:16 MSG)

The reason God put us in this world is to bear fruit. Fruit that will last forever. God chose us to carry His image so that we can give Him awesome fruits. That is the most important thing to God and it is disastrous to deprive God of fruits.

Are there unpardonable acts?

It’s good for us to know how God will judge our lives so that we can concentrate on what is most important.

Luke 13:6-9 GW Then Jesus used this illustration: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard. He went to look for fruit on the tree but didn’t find any. (7) He said to the gardener, ‘For the last three years I’ve come to look for figs on this fig tree but haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up good soil?’ ( “The gardener replied, ‘Sir, let it stand for one more year. I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. (9) Maybe next year it’ll have figs. But if not, then cut it down.'”

Every act of unfruitfulness will not be pardoned, it can be endured, but not pardoned. You can’t afford to occupy space for nothing and receive the goodness of God – life – for nothing.

Remember that Jesus cursed the fig tree in Mark 11: 13, 21 because of unfruitfulness. So, you need to pray for grace and be willing to dedicate yourself to a fruitful life.

If you go through the full article, you will realise am not saying giving is wrong.
But giving for the purpose of receiving is not biblical, it makes you a servant of money rather than God.
Jesus said, you can't serve God and mammon.
The reason God gives us His blessings is to enjoy and reach out to others in need towards expanding His kingdom.
For you to believe that tithes and offerings is what made you rich is to spite the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
If tithes and offerings is what made you comfortable, my question is what is the source of your healing, protection and salvation?
As Christians we should be wiser not to attribute prosperity to giving.
God releases His blessings upon to build His kingdom. But even if you refuse to use it for Him, that will not change His love for you. Take the case of the prodigal son for instance.
If you are a father, will you stop providing for your children because they refused to share their money with you? No you won't.
So is God not more righteous than us, He said "if you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give good gifts to them that ask Him.
Please let's grow up and learn How God relates with us in the new testament and not just copy and paste what the so called great men of God are proclaiming.
You will agree with me that many Christian that give tithes and offerings are the worst at what they do because they believe their giving will bring wealth miraculously.
That is why unbelievers who don't pay tithes but believe in diligent and smart work employ the tithe payers.
It's an aberration and I pray that God will help us.

I like your submission. Giving must come from our hearts in love for God and His people and not because we want money in return.

Why is your tithes and offerings not making you richer?

You have been taught that, the doorway to financial prosperity is giving.

A lot of teaching out there, links financial prosperity to tithes, offerings and other forms of sacrificial giving. Some even link your financial breakthrough to who you give to and where you give at.

And the worst part has to do with some questionable acts of extortion during altar calls that promises you financial breakthrough if you give certain amount.

But in all of these, my question is, why are people not getting richer?

Why do you need to give and give and continue giving to access financial prosperity?

If financial prosperity comes from giving, I believe, we should be having many super rich Christians, not just those barely getting along.

Before you tell me about some persons experience, I like you to ponder on all your giving and sincerely judge whether they met your expectations always. I don’t want you to answer this question with a religious mind, but that of sincerity.

You might think or make yourself believe that when you give, God can decide to pay you another way either by protecting you from evil. But that in itself is an insult on God. God will never need any form of atonement outside the blood of Jesus to do good to those that believe.

With the current outbreak of covid-19 pandemic across the world, the attention of people have been diverted to the problem rather than the solution.

This has increased fear among people because whenever you focus on the problem, it brings fear.

But what is the way out in such a times as this…

The answer can be found by comparing the current situation with a similar one that happens sometimes ago.

Take a look at this…

5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. 6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Num 21:5-9 KJV

Now the above situation is likened to what is happening now. The people of Israel disregard God’s authority and He sent(i.e. allowed) serpents among them. It is important to note that these serpents have been in the wilderness with them through out their journey, but the serpents couldn’t come near them because they were under divine covering (clouds by day and fire by night (Exo 13:21). So God didn’t literally send the serpents among them, but remove His covering and allowed them to be hurt by these serpents.

Now, should we conclude that covid-19 pandemic was allowed by God? The answer is yes emphatic. But why? Follow me as I make some explaniation.

Fitstly, it is reasonable for us to know that God is good and compassionate (The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. (Psa 103:8 KJV)). But in His compassion, He allow crisis in order to pass a message. And often, God does that as a last option when people refuse to yield His fatherly warnings.

So i believe covid-19 was allowed by God for a reason that will benefit humanity at the end. Please understand that this virus has been around since creation and the reason it hadn’t harm man is because, God had not made it powerful against man until now.

But how do we shorten the period of this plague. It is by doing what the Israelites did when God allowed those serpents amongst them.

God instructed Moses to erect a brazen serpent and anyone bitten by the serpent who looks at it will be saved. How do we relate that to our day?

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: Joh 3:14 KJV

In the above, we saw that Jesus was a type of the brazen serpent. Jesus was lifted i.e. crucified as the saviour of the world and anyone who looks to Him will be saved in times like this.

You don’t need to wait for your coronavirus status before you look to Him. You might have been bitten already (you might have been exposed to the virus without knowing). But if you will look up to Jesus, you will be saved. Nobody needs to perish from this pandemic again. Jesus is the cure both of the infection and also of the fear of the infection.

I want you to know that everybody needs to look up to Jesus individually to be free from the scourge of this plague and other plagues to come (this won’t be the end of plagues). Please understand that no church denomination or affliation will be a covering for anybody in times like this, you have to look up to Jesus by yourself. God’s instruction to the Israelites is that anyone bitten by the serpent should look to the brazen serpent and live.

I wish the whole world would turn from their idolatry and look up to Jesus and this holiday will be over in an instant.

But the sad truth is that people are stuck in their own ways.

I saw the other day people commending the medical practitioners due to their sacrifices in these times and affirming them as more important than God. Also there are billionaires investing billions into the production of vaccines.

Now, don’t get me wrong, doctors and nurses are doing great and deserve our commendation, and we also need the vaccine. But none of this will take this plague away unless the whole world return to God.

There is no need to suffer long in the hands of this plague. If individually and as nations, we will return to God, He will heal our lands.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2Ch 7:14 KJV

We must re-trace our focus back to Jesus. We must remove our attention from our efforts and fix them on what Jesus Christ has done. The answer is with Jesus and He must be sovereign in all things.

When we get our attention back to Jesus, He can decide to give us a vaccine or cure in a physical form or He may choose another means. But what is sure is salvation from the scourge of this virus.

I want to assure you that everyone who will yield to this message will be exempted from this plague in Jesus name. Amen.

Other seeks money by selling their souls to the devil. I believe God want us to be rich in wealth, health and every good things of life. But it’s not His will that we choose these things over Him.

Your prosperity is not a function of how much you possess. Your prosperity is a function of how much of your life Jesus Christ dominates. Our lives are not defined by how much we have, but by how much purpose we understand and execute.
God placed you and me on earth for a reason. But He will not force us to accept that reason or purpose. It’s our choice that will determine where we end up. We don’t exist on earth to make/earn a living. Rather we exist on earth to serve God and His kingdom.

Being created after God’s likeness, we have the capacity to initiate for God. By initiating for God, I mean we can take steps or create things that God can approve off. This is beyond the understanding of most Christian, and it has limited them to a mere ordinary life. What do you think God meant, when He said “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” (Psa 82:6 KJV). Every child of God is a god on this earth, whose creativity is like that of God. The difference between a lion and its cub is time. A lion cub needs only about 3 – 4 years to become an adult lion and do whatever an adult lion can do. So, we can say that a cub is a potential lion that needs time to actualize its potential. In the same way, the difference between God and a Christian is time. Jesus said “I and My Father are one” (John 10:30). He could say this because, He had already invested the time needed to grow into God. Many people thought Jesus was given birth to as an already mature Son of God, but that is not true. He came into the world like you and I, and had to grow spiritually and physically for 30 (thirty) years into the full stature of God. “And Jesus increased in wisdom (in broad and full understanding) and in stature {and} years, and in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52 AMP). The reason why many Christian are not making impact in their world is due to lack of growth. Many people are only growing physically but not spiritually. Your level of growth will determine your rank in the creative realm. When the people in John 6:10-15 saw the miracle of the feeding of 5,000 men with just two fishes and two loaves of bread, they were so amazed that the only thing they could imagine was to make Him their king. That was the God-kind of result we are supposed to produce, if we would take time to grow into Him. We have spent so much time praying and less time thinking. What most people who pray don’t know is that a powerful prayer life is born out of a quality God-like thinking. Prayers are meant to produce results and not a mere obligation. Faith, a major factor for answered prayer is a state of the mind which can only come from proper meditation (thinking) on the word of God (Rom 10:17, Josh 1:. Though prayer is a powerful force, you can’t grow by it. It takes spending quality time in thinking on the word of God through the help of the Holy Spirit to
grow into the God-kind of life.
