kimco: I'm speakin figuratively. Characters like naruto don't win wars. what did his victories prevent? The akatsuki plan is still going on. U know how i feel about the victory over kakuzu. He wasn't made a chuunin even tho he won. Shikamaru lost yet was made one. Cos his reasoning has a better chance at victory than naruto's plot no jutsu victories.

kimco: naruto failed to retrieve sasuke too. shikamaru got them out of their first predicament in that mission. Naruto has to shine sometym... He is the main character...others need to look bad for him to look gud. That's what kishi does. Dumb everyone down and make naruto look gud. Shikamaru is wanted as a guardian for a reason. Feraz: Actually, what the person who said something about casting genjutsu with cloth didn't really mean it that way. I think whzt the person was trying to imply is that Naruto entered genjutsu when he encountered Itachi on his way to finding Sasuke by Itachi opening his cloak and crows flew out.

He test things out, that gud. But against characters like pain, he'll be dead during the testing. Did u not see how kakuzu nearly mauled him till kakashi came to his rescue...had he been alone...considering there was no plot no jutsu...kakuzu would've had him dere. shikamaru's character is what i call a wonderfully made character. Makes use of his resources, has logic backing his plans etc. He can think on the go as well, asuma praised him for that, even kakashi, when he was a ble to device a plan on the go when he kakashi had jux joined. I disagree with u extremely on ur last point. Battle smart? Shikamaru takes it over naruto big tym. Kakashi has shown such feats as well. The whole of akatsuki bar hidan have shown incredible prowess on that front too. Shikaku, orochimaru..too many to mention. Let's the naruto bias stop with u nowwwwww. Amen.

While I accept that the Kyuubi is a major advantage for Naruto, I think he's a great fighter all by himself. So I don't accept any argument that insists that the Kyuubi is central to any awesomeness he's got.

kimco: No dude, don't assume they were weaker, it was still tsukiyomi. Plus genjustu doesn't kill, it's meant to paralyse. None of the gentsujus used have killed anyone. They only paralyse including tsukiyomi and frog song.
However i agree itachi is really gud.

kimco: Those are rich men. See..i too can play that game. We're talking about the reader not the characters in the manga. If i had a friend who always acknowledges me i'll be happy. However if i read a book or a movie where the character kept praising his friends over and over for the entirety of the movie or book, i'll get bored.

kimco: Then people will start to find u boring, because u start to sound like a broken record. that's why rappers who always talk about grace to grass themes in their songs fade away fast cos they start to get boring, repeating the same thing everytym.
