It's not about Cells or whatever for breaking the restraint, it's about Chakra level, both madara and harashima had high level chakra hence they were able to break free from control don't just look at it from only one side because orochimaru was using the first's chakra. It's knowledge of the jutsu that accounts for the increase In effectiveness while harashima's cells account for increase in restraint.. Orochimaru perfected the jutsu to bring them back to full strength which he didn't do before and also strengthening the power of the restraint to just above the 2nd's ability but below the first. Meaning that If orochimaru had enough chakra preferably from another source then even harashima would not have broken free.
2. I say it's not about free will because if orochimaru had brought them back before with full powers yet without the power to hold them back then they would have broken free before they could have their tags implanted.

Every average Senju has high level of chakra and I can bet Tobirama's chakra is way more than Madara's

If I remember the chunnin exam correctly he placed the tags on them before the gain consciousness

You're forgetting one major thing, this is fiction/fantasy and Kishi can start his story from anywhere hell he could even say angel came down from heaven to sex a woman and the woman gave birth to Rikudo having powers and chakra...

How come hashirama was able to break the edo tensei control from orochimaru the second tym he ressurected them but when he did it the first tym hashi didn't break them.

I know he said he wasn't controlling them cos he wanted their stories. but during the first tym they spoke with sarutobie, even said they had to obey orochimaru b4 the were tagged. So why cudn't he do it then, but can do it now?

One word FREEWILL, in the chunnin arc, he didn't give them freewill, immediately he resurrected them, they were under his control, when Madara was Edoed, he had his freewill just like MU cos Kabuto knows he voluntarily go to war against the shinobis, and when Orochimaru edoed the four Hokages, he didn't take away their freewill, Tobirama would have broken free but for the fact that Oro's version was strenghtened by Hashi's cell, the more reason why Hashirama breaking free was easy...

2. Obito however stated the requirements for izanagi which were uchiha and senju cells

5. izanami and izanagi were related, shudn't they require same things?

It wasn't used to save them, it was used to punish them, as I said earlier, Senju cells were only needed to strenghten their chakra and not a primary requirement for the jutsu to work, cos of their powerful chakra which Itachi doesn't need for Izanami since he's was in Edo Tensei, and if Senju clan members are being taken for this reason, don't you think that woulda spark an endless war?

kimco: read rapmike's post....and to add to that izanami requires only uchiha cells. Itachi used it...we can ssaume he had no senju cells in him and so it didn't require it.

Sorry I'm late, I had to go do some diggins and here's what I found...Tobi said Izanagi is jutsu of the UCHIHA that requires the power of both Senju and Uchiha to perform the jutsu, I think the the Uchihas can perform the jutsu, but they need the Senju cos of their Chakra and life force to perform it effectively so their chakra won't get empty or even die of chakra exhaustion...remember the uchihas used to use this jutsu anyhow in the former days before it became forbidden, would you now say all of them have Senju cells in them?

kimco: I didn't assume they would think the same way. However u are assuming naruto's way was the only way to tackle pain. I'm willing to bet that if shikamaru had naruto arsenal yet retained his brains, he'd have tackled pain much better. Naruto did work for some powers and some were freely given to him by kishi (tamed kyuubi and lightening speed to deflect bijuu bombs). That what i'm hitting at here. He has too much convenience. I loved it when way back naruto was clawing his way to the top through hard work and earger to train. Now it's handed to him like candy.

Shikamru mourned the dead body of asuma who had a funeral rite(in two days, i think). Naruto jux mourned the news of jiraiya's death. That leave pain with no offence since God realm was not functional and that leaves pain with a defence strategy since the second path to be taken out was ressurected. when u're as powerful as hidan up against shikamaru...u can afford not to lose sleep over his technique after seeing it used once, and rightly so, shikamru jux found ways to make use of his technique so that it wasn't one dimentional. That's much more than i can say for naruto and his rasengan spam. also hidan didn't go looking for bounties, he and kakuzu were busy extracting a bijuu from a host for three days.

Naruto had intel, had backup and had power that sets him above most (shikaku's words not mine) fifteen minutes is enough. Fights only draw out when u don't know whom u're fighting. Besides like i said, pain didn't even know the power he was up against...was being hit from all angles with unknown powers that were taking his paths down like flies. Maybe if he had hurried up and finished the biznez instead of talk no jutsu...maybe he would have ended it all.

Cos first hand experience shud be backed up by power. Chouji can't hope to defeat kakuzu even if he witnessed his power first hand...power is power...which naruto had ....both .....informational, physical, and even with backup...two of whom were sages and had first hand experience with pain..... and still messed up. They paralysed him cos he was pinned down by weapons and was out of chakra. Knowing about them wouldn't have helped him cos he fell to pain not because of the rods but because pain was stronger. The rods were jux used to pin him down. Like any other ninja using kunais to pin down their enemies. No bigie. It was however important to know the location of nagato...which wasn't his prioty at the moment. That's why i said it's knowledge wasn't important at that moment.

Now there is where u're wrong....kakuzu was shikamaru's prioty because to him, he was the most dangerous. After they were done with him...hidan against four ninjas would be a sure win. Kakashi's plan was a backup plan. After the initial plan had failed. hidan is one dimentional, true...but he's still very powerful and shikamaru isn't. pain was powerful and so was naruto.

Cos naruto had all the details of pain's power, bar chibaku tensei which wasn't even used against him until he was in kyuubi mode. Shikamru however didn't even know that kakuzu had five hearts. So now tell me...who had the power?

That's a wild assumption, shikaku and the rest were high level ninjas, an immobile pain would puppet them. U severely underrate konaha's finests. how can we to know that nagato who was immobile was no push over when kishi decided to defeat him with the talk no jutsu?

u mean the 6 tails who cudn't even fend off fodder ninjas, u're going to compare him to yogito, the two tails who actually puts up a fight? the fierce cat? She doesn't run away from fights, like the six tails, she dares to threaten her offenders. That six tails is just a host, he's useless as a fighter. Besides i already told u, they were dispatched to capture naruto too. If they cudn't, they wouldn't be told to do so.

Naruto has been in convo with Kurama for quite a while, he's been reluctantly rescuing Naruto and giving him chakra when needed, after naruto beat him to his chakra, Naruto still goes back to try and chat him up, it was the way Naruto won over other tailed beast that finally shattered Kurama wall of hatred, enough build up for me...Naruto didn't learn Rasengan conveniently, neither did he with rasenshuriken which almost damage his arm, it took him days to master sage mode and we both saw eat all sorta crap cos of that, even his build up to attaining Nine tail chakra mode wasn't a walk in the pack.

kimco: Had shinra tensei deflected back at him...had mini bombs break his barrier and hit him directly....was whacked straight into a rocky mountain head first (i tot he had died there, guess i was wrong) and then had a huge rock nail him, literarily, nail him into the ground. And he still managed to survive. But rasengan...not rasen shuriken....a normal rasengan was able to do him in. What do u think?

We've been shown instances where shinobi's bodies destroy rocks, and we also see scenes where jutsus shatter rocks, which do you think is stronger?

Sorry, I gerrit now, but I don't remember him taking any major hit from kyuubi other than be smashed with a rock, he was doing more of hide and seek in the fight...the path that tried attacking Tsunade was smashed by Rasengan...

kimco: alot of them have been mentioned already. But one would be minato's kyuubi mode, anoda would be that God realm took hits from 6tails kyuubi and survived but got hit with rasengan and died (step-mother of a.s.s pulls). i agree he's human and it can't be perfect...but some of them are to glaring. He cud have hid it quite well.

But you saw what is took the six tails to withstand shinra tensei, and Kurama didnt get hit by just one rasengan, he got hit by tons of sage art rasengans after he was felled by Kushina's chain....and that was only just enough to drag his chakra from him...stop exaggerating

Thats cos he's been tamed, its a natural principle, any animal can be tamed, besides he's given Naruto all he could handle since he was born. No matter how much hate you have, you still have to make allegiance with a common enemy. And was it not this same Kurama that cried when with Rikudo?
