Though, the prices of cakes vary but if you can get a cake as low as 5k from an exotic place like SS, you should be able to get a more bigger cake from a local baker with the same amount

Coming from someone that has never baked nor have a knowledge of the prices of cake recipes in the market, I'll pass. It's a dead end street arguing with you on this one.

It's not by force to celebrate birthdays if you don't have what it takes.

Let me assume she takes 5K for a cake but the question would be, what kind of cake could she buy?. You've kept hammering on some cakes sold in eateries for such amount without taking into consideration the occasion she needs the cake for. No one now would bake a good cake for 5k. How much is a rubber of flour, sugar, butter, create of eggs, gas, etc, and one's gain for baking that someone would take such an amount to give you something befitting?. In case you missed, I equally said prices depends on location 'cause where I am, you can't get a caterer bake a 5K cake. Where she was more stupid was telling the guy to save the 5k for her bride price though it was sarcastically stated but returning such amounts to him won't make him marry her.

Relax Madam! Don't employ insults when trying to win an argument. It's silly people that do that when they know they don't have what it takes to win an argument. A simple logical explanation can convince your opponent to subscribe to your opinions rather than the hogwash you posted up there just to score cheap points

Remember we are arguing about cakes and you're already digressing. How many caterers have you met to conclude that a caterer can't bake a medium sized cake for 5k?

Don't be so literal. She obviously meant that her boyfriend shouldn't spend so much on something not so important. There are minimalists in this world, maybe this girl is one of them. Not everybody spends money mindlessly because it appears to be available. Some people feel they should spend responsibly.

Prices of cakes depends largely on location and shop. A 10k birthday cake is very small with probably a simple butter icing or just her name written on it with less design. With 5k, she can't get a cake so let me assume she may end up adding her money to it or not baking a cake at all which boils down to the girl's preference.

She's not saving bride price 'cause she returned 5k back 'cause all I care is; he may end up paying for another woman's bride price while you were busy pretending to be a wife material.
